Kishi had moved to where Franki had indicated and smirked at Remmy "I hardly think a few comments indicate a death wish. And I hardly consider you a threat to my existance... besides *mock sweetness* aren't we supposed to all get along and work together. So... in an attempt for less tension (for now) I will refrain from any comments that might... spark your temper. I have no clure if it will work as I've never tried to refrain my comments before... its the best you'll get though." He stood there calmly... the only reason for his actions was so Franki didn't get agrivated by the bickering... and that new guy seemed nervous. But he had to wonder when he started to worry about keeping the peace..

::half sensing and half guessing Kishi had moved to where she had idicated, she reaches out and takes hold of his wrist, mainly because it was the first thing she felt. she kept her hold light so that he could pull free if he wanted:: thank you Kishi ::for some reason her tone seems a bit odd:: maybe we should let Remmy explain things to Kai... and i think i could use some fresh air... would you mind helping me to the back yard so that i can keep an ear out for the twins?

Kishi sighed and silently helped her outside. When they were out there he turned silghtly in her direction (his wrist still in her hand) "Soo I'm guessing I said something wrong again and she was going to try to kill me?"
actually, you handled that fairly well.... if a little bluntly. but then i'm not really one to talk, considering ::she makes a face:: where are the munchkins anyway? it's too quiet out here...
He looked around "... Uhhh I don't see them. Maybe they are with that cook lady who gave them cookies..."
i wouldn't but it past them ::dryly:: i probably should have gone with them just to make sure they didn't get any more sweets...
"Whats wrong with sweets? I thought humans enjoyed consuming them... though I don't care for them personally. They are too.... sweet!" He makes a face in disgust.. a habit of his when faced with unpleasant things or thoughts.
nothing's wrong with sweets, unless you're being punished. and i told the little munchkins that they weren't allowed to have anything sugary if they broke something else... as far as i'm concerned hearing that crash means the same thing. much as i love them, i'm not stupid. if they think they can work me the way they work my brothers then they'll grow up to be spoiled little monsters...
He chuckled a bit "They seem to have a little spoiled monster in them already. At least they know to work the're talents to get what they want and need.. I admire that! *pauses* Though I suppose in your view thats.. bad? because then they would rebel?? Human politics and rules confuse me.. I hope the're aren't many in this school buisness!"
there's a lot of rules in school ::said with a wince:: and as far as Grace and Gwen are concerned... ::she hesitates a moment then sighs:; okay, let's put it this way. the dark card rebelled because i didn't put my name on it, right? and it would have kept doing so if i didn't do something to claim mastery over it... but i'll still have to learn how to control it to get it to do what i want, right? well what if my control slips? what if for even a moment it thinks i'm not strong enough and it can get around me and do whatever it wants?
He thought about it for a moment "Ah.. I see what your saying! If you don't show you are in charge and in control your sisters will attack you! *nods* Yes... then it is important not to yield or show weakness! Hmm.. it seems humans are more dangerous than I had previously thought... especially the small ones."
sweatdrop um... they aren't my sisters... and that's not what i meant... i meant that if i don't show i'm in control, they'll do what they want... and they could end up hurtting themselves...
"Oh.. they aren't... then who are they? Sometimes getting hurt is the best way to learn... you can't shelter them forever! *sighs* But...you humans are too frail.. you break so easily. However it is comendable that you don't shy away from resposibility.. they are lucky to have you watching out for them"
they're my cousins... and i wouldn't call 'em lucky. besides, the whole family looks out for each other... it's just.. well there's so many of us, you know? there's me, my eight brothers, my two uncles, my grandmama, grandpapa, Madre, Padre, my aunt, and the two munchkins.... so it's easy to get lost you know? it happened to me a lot when i was their age... so i figured i'd keep 'em in check until they were old enough to find their own way of copeing
"Well... isn't that still lucky? Your looking out for them so they don't deal with being lost... I'm sure they feel lucky they have you. Thats a big family..... *glances around to see if anyone is nearby* Soo... what's it like?... to have a fam.. I mean a big family?"
::she turns her face toward him curiously:: it's... well it's like living in a mad house... there's always soemthing going on, always someone yelling for some reason or another... always someone around...
"Oh.. is that good? I bet your never lonely if someones always around.. I mean I've heard humans have trouble with lonliness... so it.. would be bad.. to be lonely.. so I've heard. Personally I think having that many people around would drive me crazy.. but I'm not a human... so it's unecessary... I like being alone and others like leaving me alone so it works.. for me. It probably wouldn't work for you... as you would get lonely." He was tempted to pull away and just fly off somewhere... he sounded so STUPID!! Why couldn't he let the lonliness point go?? She better not try to pity him... 'mistress' or not he would not take pity!!
::she shrugs a bit, picking up on his discomfort:: loneliness is a funny thing... you can feel like you're all alone when you're in a room full of people, or you could feel contented when you're alone... i was prone to feeling lonely at home. with everyone rushing around, there wasn't really all that much interaction... i think that you need to meet someone that you can talk with in order to get past that... Kishi?
He frowned a bit "Get past what? I don't understand what you mean.. I already met who I was ment to find... you the dark cardcaptor! There's nothing else I need to search for.. I only need to assist you in capturing cards and help keep you safe. Thats my only purpose!"
that's cold ::softly:: and boring... but if that's how you feel, i guess i can't say anything diffrent... ::she sighs a bit:: enough of this before i start pitying myself ::jokingly::
He shrugs "I can't help my purpose.. and we can talk about others things if you want. You can explain school to me... or I can take you back inside. I'm sure you'd prefer to talk with the others"
i don't mind, you're not really that bad, ya know... once you stop being so stuffy at least... but if you want to go that's fine. i think i'll just stay here for a bit...
He snorted "Me go back in there.. and face the wrath of Remmy and her hot headed guardian? Not to mention leabing you out here?? I think not.. I'll stay until you go back in! *pause* I'm NOT stuffy!!"

He suddenly got the very immature impulse to stick his tongue out.. thankfully he didn't and she wouldn't see it if he had!! "I'm not stiff! I'm serious.. there's a difference! I feel no need to relax.. who knows when an attack might happen... if I'm not on guard who will be?? The other guardians think this is social time to have fun and hang out with their 'masters' and 'mistress' when we should be training!! And besides why change what they are all used to?" His eyes widened.. why oh why did he say that?? That did not sound right.. it made him sound... unhappy.. and he was VERY happy the way he was!
::she shakes her head:: see? stuffy! right there, to me that comment screams stuffy.... you can't relax cuz you don't know how! what will you do when we defeat La Mort? you should learn how to have some fun, relax a little....
".... I always assumed when LaMort was defeated my purpose would be fulfilled so I would.. be gone. There's no reason for me to exist anymore after that. What good will fun do in a war? *smirks* And I think it might kill the other guardians to see me having fun..."
god you're boring... and depressing... you know, i think i'd be really ticked at you if you just stopped exsisting when all this was done and over with... i'm half tempted to go to the other side just so you won't ever die!
He glared "I don't exactly have a choice if I stop existing!! None of us are sure what will happen when its over... though personally I don't mind not existing!! And thats a stupid reson to join LaMort.. you lot are no where near strong enough to defeat him so no worries about this being over soon!! *pulls wrist away but doesn't move anywhere* AND DON'T WASTE YOU TIME BEING CONSERNED ABOUT ME!! I'm your guardian so don't throw your life away for mine.. trust me it's not worth it!" He punched a nearby tree... and made a nice hole for the squirrels to live in "Oops..."
::she's glaring in his direction, clutching the arms of her wheelchair tightly:: i dont' consider it a waste of my time at all, you moron! and i'm not about to do what you tell me to! i'll be worried about and care about who i want to! don't EVER tell me otherwise! Sakura would not have created you all knowing you'd just stop exsisting when the war was over! so deal with it! as far as throwing my life away, it's MINE to do with as i please! not yours! and if i want to use it to keep you safe then i WILL!
He sighed "Well.. I CAN'T tell you what to do... so do what you want. I'd just advise against joining LaMort for a guardian... because then I'll be pissed and have to rescue you. You don't know me that well you know... so you can't really claim to care. It's best if we keep this professional... I don't know what Mistress Sakura planned for us at the end.. but I know I don't mesh well with humans... or the other guardians. My ceasing to be.. is easiest all around. However we will be together for awhile.. perhaps you can change things as time goes on.." He doubted that.. it was mainly said to give her hope.. she seemed quite distraught at him not being around... he wasn't used to that.
you don't know me well either, so let me tell you something. i take very good care of what's mine, and it doesn't take me long to claim things. Grace and Gwen are mine. Remmy, Pyralis, Glory, Fai, Hyozan, Kisha, they're all mine. so are Kai and Ran. and like it or not, you're mind too. it doesn't take us pathtic humans long to make attachments. sometimes all you have to do is be in the right place at the wrong time
Though he didn't take being 'owned' by Franki as particularly ideal.. he supposed it could be worse. Afterall.. how much would she really worry about him while worrying about ALL the others?? Though it was almost.. nice to be considered so important to someone... not that he could ever say that.. he had his reputation to deal with! "Well... I'm stuck with you no matter what but I suppose I can handle that. Don't expect me to go to any gatherings or anything with the others though! Especially Fai... I'd take being locked up with Remmy and Pyralis.. while they doing their mushy-couply thing over being near him!" He shuddered a bit... Fai annoyed him more than most.. he really didn't know what it was.
fine, whatever you say. ::grumbled, trying very hard to get herslef under control::
"Franki... let me inform you now before the others do. I can't be what you want! I'm not the other guardians! All I can do is my job.. which is work with you to find and capture cards. I don't do emotions or any of that... and while I AM sorry that seems to upset you.. thats who I am. If you want emotional go to the other captors and their guardians.. they have plenty"
you've gotten "emotional" plenty as far as i'm concerned... and i'm done talking about this.
"Fine.. whatever you want." He leaned against the tree waiting to see what she would do. If they went back inside once she was with the others he could bolt for awhile... being around the other guardians and these captors was messing with his head!
::she doesn't do or say anything, just sits there, head leaning against her fist, seeming to stare into space. at least she would have if he didn't know she was blind::

He was tired from... fighting with Franki so he transformed back into a raven and flew over to her chair landing on the back near her head. It was much more comfortable to wait this way... he already knew what would happen when they returned inside. If Franki was still upset first they would try to see whats wrong... then Kishi would get yelled at for having no tact or something along those lines. Because Kishi was the bad guy... poor Franki for getting stuck with him! He sighed well.. she WAS upset because of him so it was valid he supposed... but that doesn't give the 'saintly' guardians the right to reprimand him like a child! Sometimes he wondered what Mistress Sakura had been thinking when creating him..
::she turns her head slighlty toward where she heard him sigh:: still you, Kish?
"Yes... I transformed back to a raven. It was tiring keeping the other up for so long. Would you prefer me to perch elsewhere?"
no... you're fine where you are... look, i'm sorry, alright? it wasn't fair of me to yell at you like i did
He blinked "You were only expressing your feelings... and I DID yell back. The fault is not all with you.. I know I can be.. difficult to deal with. I'm not sure what you want or expect from me though but i can't expect you to change when I refuse to change myself. So telling you want to do and how to feel was unfair of me... so I appoligize as well. Don't tell anyone I did this though... I'll never hear the end of it.. they'll say I'm going soft!"
::she makes a face:: i won't tell if you wont... my brothers would rag on me till they were blue in the face and still they'd keep on harping about it ::grumbles softly::

no, you're right... but everyone's diffrent, and i for one never expect from others what i'm not willing to do myself

It seems out of all of us... I have to do the most changing... I've always wondered about that.."

nah, i'm fine... ::she didn't want to say that she didn't want to go back inside. she was tired of laying down.. not to meantion the large bed in the room Remmy had lent her made her feel two inches big. she wasn't used to such a big bed, her own being just barely large enough to hold her if she didn't toss or turn too much::
"Are you sure... you seem to be falling asleep and sleeping in a chair can't be comfortable.. or good for you!"
i'm used to it... perk of having a big family.. can sleep anywhere or through anything....
"Won't you get sick then from sleeping outside? And didn't Remmy give you a bed?" He wasn't used to being concerned for anyone but he knew somewhat of how frail humans could be
mmhmm... ::already asleep enough to be answering automatically, not really hearing his questions or the concern in his voice::
He rolled his eyes and sighed.. now what should he do? Bring her inside and let the others care for her.. or let her stay out here and possibly get sick... or attacked! He looked around then transformed back to human form carefully bringing her back inside and up to the others.

::at the same time, one of the twins uses him as a brace as she climbs into the chair onto Franki's lap::
He stared at the two.. Franki's comparrison of them to the darkness card running through his head. "What are your names again? And aren't you supposed to be with the cook lady?"
i'm Gwen! ::says the one latched onto his leg::

both of you stop it ::snapped without moving her head or even seeming to wake up. both girls snap their mouths shut:: the one in my lap is Gwen, the other one's Grace
He rubed his head "Ok... *Points to the latched twin* G1 *points to the other* and G2.. settle down cause you can both be Gwen for all I care!"
but i'm Gwen crying
::sighs and wraps one arm around the girl in her lap:: where's the other?
He just stared at her "And shes still asleep and she knew that??" He looks at the twins trying to see the difference as he aswers without thinking "Attched to my leg at the moment.."
::a pause then she laughs:: sorry... uh... Grace, c'mere ::holding her hand down so that the girl can take it. Grace reaches out her own little hand and clasps it in Franki's, but doesn't let go of Kishi:: Gracie, let go of him::
but...
ah, i don't want to hear it, let go of him and come here before i let Gwen be Grace
::reluctnatly lets go of Kishi and climbs into Franki's lap. the twins shift quite a bit before they manage to get comfortably tucked one under each of Franki's arms::

He watched uneasily not used to being around children... or being applogized to so much in one day! He shifted his feet a bit and nodded to the twins "Uh.. it's ok. I'm gonna take you guys upstairs now.."
dun wanna go!
Gwen ::warningly:: don't push yourself, i'm mad at you, remember?
::quickly quiets and settles in Franki's lap, sulking::
He sighed... kids.. he wasn't good with adults.. or well anyone! Now he had to deal with kids!! "Well you two could help me get Franki upstairs and to bed.. since shes been falling asleep. And I'm sure you can stay with her as well..." Hey.. the kids seemed to like her so why wouldn't they want to sleep with her.. that bed was certainly big enough!
::the one who wasn't pouting beamed at him::

"Swing? You want to swing before bed?" That one confused him.. did humans usually let there children swing on things before bed??

That got Kishi panicked.. kids were one thing CRYING kids were something else entirely!! He did not want to see tears! "Umm.. maybe if you guys are good with helping and getting ready for bed Franki might decide to sing later?!?" She was gonna kill him.. but.. TEARS! She was right those kids are dangerous!!
no ::firmly:: i don't sing to little terrors, only well behaved, GOOD girls, but i don't see any of those around here, do i?

ah, i told you, i don't want to hear it! come on man! ::this directed at Kishi, trying to hide her amusement:: grow a spine! they're only children!

Kishi's not going to side with you two. he's smarter than that, so quit your tricks. i said no and i mean no. be glad i'm not turning your hides black and blue ::firmly:: if you're REALLY good, then tomarrow i MIGHT tell a story before bed

Kishi sighed in relief... he wasn't sure if he was THAT strong to go up against the dangerous teary-eyed terrors! He brought them upstairs "Are they staying with you in the bed?"

He watched them silently as he brought them into 'her' room and over to the bed "Here's the bed..." He didn't know if she needed help or not since the other times he hadn't been around when she got in and out of it... well except for the time she fell when the water boy panicked.
::Franki lifted her arms so that the twins could get off her lap and climb into the bed then, with a wince:: i'm gonna need your help getting into the bed ::reluctantly toward Kishi::
He lifted her silently and easily onto the bed and was suprisingly gentle with her. "There.. do you need anything else or should I go... somewhere?"

suit yourself. you don't have to stick around you know... you can go do whatever you want... i'm sure you've got something better to do then watch us sleep ::she didn't meantion that it struck her as a bit creepy to know that he'd be watching her... instead she shifts slighlty so that she was slightly more comfortable, the twins already asleep and using her as a pillow::

Remmy had gone up to her room and listened to music for awhile, trying to get her thoughts straight and calm down a bit. She had been dancing and headbanging to one of her favorite American rock bands when sita called her down and asked her to take some chowder to Franki and the twins. Remmy took the tray and went to give them to Franki, Grace, and Gwenn (I think those were there names, forgive me if not). She saw Kishi outside the door and stopped. "Hello Kishi."
