"I have healed many, Mr. Kazamaru, I can't possibly remember them all."
She noted the 'Ms. Darkchild', but did not tell him it was 'Mrs. Darkchild' because that would possibly lead to questions about if she was married, a question she wanted to avoid if that was possible, at least until she felt she knew the man a little better. But he seemed harmless enough, at least now - not that any of the people frequenting the Leviathan were ever really harmless - while he was leaning against a tree a short distance away. Nedyfay relaxed her grip on her bag and stole a quick glance at the tote next to her, where the raccoon had gone back to sleep when it had realised it was not going to get out to play.
"How is the arena? I haven't been there since I quit work."

The Stadium...got destroyed about three or four weeks ago. We lost alot of people in the rubble and such, and we lost Maximos... Everyone is trying to help fix it, but it really got beat up in this last one. I'm sorry to have to be the one telling you all this... I'm sure its quite a shock...
Ryugi's voice was tinged with sadness as he explained what had happened to Leviathan, his home. He hoped that by telling this young woman this news he didn't cause anymore problems for her. It seemed she had quite enough of those to deal with as it was.

"I'm sorry to hear it."
Her voice betrayed nothing; she was not distraught, exactly, because she had no close ties to the place anymore. Of course, it was a regretable loss, and she wondered why she had not heard anything about it. Then she remembered the pile of unread newspapers back at the flat; there should be something about it in there. The loss of Maximos was a sad one, but she had been no friend of the man and he not of her. The man, however, seemed to be saddened by the news.
"What happened, if it's not any trouble to tell me?"

Someone came and destroyed it with some sort of blood magic. We don't know who he was or where he came from, but either way, the place ended up being destroyed. I'm planning to head out on an adventure soon, to explore the areas around here. Without the stadium to hold me here, I might as well look around a bit.
Ryugi spoke clearly, but there was a tinge of excitement in his voce as he talked about adventuring.
So, what about you? Why did you quit being a nurse, if its not too much of me to ask.

She listened atentively, nodding every here and there. Unknown person, blood magic, the entire place in ruins. Well, the things that escaped ones attention every now and then was realyl astonishing. The excitement in his voice when he spoke of adventures made her smile; boyish, and he had to be in his early twenties, or maybe late teens. Maybe she had forgot what it was like to be young...
To his question as to why she quit nursing, she shook her head and folded her hands in her lap, leaning back to look at him. This was a topic that could do no harm, so she was more at ease.
"I did not quit nursing," she said with a light smile, "I went to work another place."

Silver stared blankley at the small, square sheet of black parchment that seemed to have arrived as he sleept. Written on it in magical red words were as follows:
~I await you in the place of your cold trechory. My deed will be finished upon your arrival.
Silver reread it several times, as if he expected the message to change. Oddly, he knew exactly who sent him the message, and he knew exactly where that person would be lurking. He looked to the ceiling of the library for a moment and back at the note, and crushed it with his right hand. Summoning his power into his hand, he incinerated it in a blaze of green fire.
Cyradll...
His head tilted to the north. Though he could easily avoid her, he had to destroy all members of the council, as they had tried to destroy him. Though most of them have moved on, Silver still remembered the ordeal they put him through, and he would not let them go... unpunished.
He knew what he must do; he had to go to the Frozen Caverns in the Tundra of Guldor.

Would you perhaps like to join me for an ice cream? My treat? There was no sign of romantic intentions in his voice, just genuine kindness. Besides, he already had Vargus, the love of his life and soulmate. Hopefully she'd take him up on the offer, if not, then maybe he'd just keep talking to her. She was an interesting person afterall.

Nedy rose and lifted up the tote as well, rousing the raccon inside, nodding to Ryugi. She did not want ice cream, but a glass of water would indeed be nice now. Out of habit she looked around to see if she had forgotten something; once one had children, looking both three and four times to make sure became something of a second nature."A glass of water would be very nice, thank you," she said when she was satisfied nothing had fallen out of her bag and onto the ground under the park bench. "Where would you like to go?"

Any old place will do. As long as they've got rocky road. Thats my favorite.
He smiled and chuckled a bit. Leaning off of the tree and stretching his back a bit. He'd just walk around until he found an ice cream parlor. And while he searched, he'd talk with the young woman.

Nedyfay waited till he had started to walk and then fell into the same pace next to him, having very few problems keeping up; she felt a bit faint, but if she occasionally shook her head she felt fine again. There was a headache sneaking up her neck, she felt, from the tense shoulders, but nothing a hot shower would not be able to fix later on.

Ryugi kept walking towards the street where he would hopefully find an ice cream place. He looked over at Nedy and spoke.
So whats the new place you work at like? Is it a regular hospital?

Silver wasted no time. He briskly moved towards the docks. Being much faster than most people, he would reach his destination in almost no time at all. On his way, he passed a very familiar friend, but payed no heed. His mind was set on other things, as he coldly pushed onward, fire burning in his eyes.

"No, it's an infirmary at a development and research centre. Enki's daughter, Tellus, is the owner - you might have heard of it? Leviathan Kittiana Research and Development Centre?"
The black spots indicating feeling faint came with shorter intervals now and shaking her head only helped partially; she needed to get some water or she would black out completely. It had been getting better lately, but she knew she still had a long way to go before she was back where she should be. To hopefully distract him enough not to notice how often she very slightly shook her head, she asked him a question in return;
"What brought you to the stadium?"

I believe I've heard of it before, yes. I'll tell you what brought me to the stadium in a minute, but right now, it appears we've found our parlor.
He walked up to the door of the building and opened it for her. After she had entered he walked up to the counter and ordered his ice cream and her water. The water he got immediately since it was easier, but he had to wait for his ice cream.
He handed the water to Nedy with a smile.

With a thankful sigh Nedy took the water from him with her left hand, balancing the tote with her new pet under her right, taking several small sips. It was deliciously cool and the black spots paled considerably after a few seconds. The creeping headache was persistant, though. When the waitress had her back turned the anthromorph fished two of the ice cubes out of the glass with her fingers and dropped them into the tote for the raccoon to lick on, so that the little creature would have some moisture as well.
