Seeing the whole thing move at him as one didn't phase Unsane in the least. He couldn't see Lazenca through it, nor he could sense his body's temperature within the small blizzard, but Unsane also knew that Lazenca wasn't outside of it.
The demon raised his right hand, the remaining golf ball facing the cloud of snow dust. Once it was a mere three feet from him, Unsane crushed the small ball he was holding. This time though would be very different from the previous: Unsane knew what he was doing. Instead of an explosion, it was like a beam of packed snow and wind, packed to the width of a fist and shooting forward under the pressure of being forced into such a thin shape. It would go toward where Unsane expected Lazenca's chest to be, straight in the middle of the wall of ice, hoping to pierce it and wind wolfie for a second. Just long enough to take the offensive again.

Well, that was that. He was himself some three feet from the wall (safe distance so he didn't get hurt by his own attack, though the way it exploded was safeguard enough... it was just an unconcious "don't be by explosions" thing), and as able to note that the shatter happened. However, it wasn't supposed to... it was supposed to be firm. His eye caught something coming out of it, and the something hit him in the bracer.
He was taking lots and lots of block damage from last minute saves, and it was getting annoying for his strategy to be rethought, his assault to have to be restarted... and his arm, though currently bracer'd, was going to hurt if it kept coming up for the save as it just did.
So there they were, with Unsane bracing himself for more attacks or already doing things, and Lazenca coming out of a Just Defend that completely halted him, and pushed him back and made him growl with the idea that he wasn't getting close to Unsane as quickly as he wanted to.
Already, this scuffle had gone on too long. Ice wasn't going to do squat since Unsane was just going to unfreeze himself in a blink and throw it back in spades. Getting close was becoming something of a chore.
All of this thinking was going on as he himself braced for a potential attack. Right side presented forward, his right arm stayed up in a kinda horizontal, kinda defensive place.

"Whatcha say we stop warming up?" Unsane said, bringing up his arm. "It's about time I show you what's on the line here."
The demon brought up his forearm, forever grinning, even as he bit into it. Not just a tiny n**, mind you. The demon's fang dug deep and blood gushed, dripping at his feet.
"To my vassal I offer my own blood and pain.", chanted Unsane. Slowly, drop by drop, the blood vanished from the ground, from the arm, even from Unsane's mouth and the wound closed off.
To my lord I offer my sword.
The voice came out of nowhere to answer the demon, and the spell was activated. Blood and pain were one of the smallest, most benign sacrifices one could do, compared to giving out your very sanity in exchange for the full strength of the spell. Still, it was plenty. As far as Lazenca was, he would feel the temperature drop nearly instantly, and cold seemed to be pulsating from Unsane. The specks of frost on the sand turned to a layer of sleet, and the swirling blue of the elemental's eyes looked like it was now glowing.
Unsane ran head on again, not because he had forgotten what happened last time, but because it didn't matter. His left hand reached out, not to punch, but to grab at Lazenca's right arm. If he managed to get a hold, it would take a second before ice started spreading thick from the forearm to the arm, and the shoulder beyond.

Ask Lazenca why he stood there and watched that happen? It probably had something to do with not knowing what was going on, then the fact that Unsane was talking- only happened with arrogance or spellweaving- or the fact that the blood was disappearing, or the fact that someone, somewhere, actually answered.
As someone opened the freezer door, he had some sort of feeling. Confusion, laced with... fear? With hair going white to prove it, indeed... Lazenca's mood was currently Shifting. He almost dropped his arms and accepted what Unsane had to offer, that fourth telling him that this one had more power, more strength.
"..."
Black hair.
How close were they? Before Unsane could completely clear the distance... say, five feet out... his right arm whipped out horizontally, and the left arm lifted. Lazenca had stopped in a Reverse Draw stance. The result from the hands crossing and leaving the white wake was obvious... the x2 Fangs of the Arctic Wulf spun and went forward to meet Unsane. If the guy didn't move, there would be impact plus about a second or two of drilling into his chest.
"Fade away!"

The fangs called for a change of plan. Unsane had once managed to push off the technique, but he didn't have a tool as strong as L'Hivernale on him. Instead, the elemental bent his knees and extended his arms fully, palm on top of the other. Ice spread from his palm out, taking the shape of a cup, and the fang collapsed straight into it. While the drilling effect did rip the shield apart to pieces in an instant, Unsane kept pumping our more and more ice. The surrounding cold, along with the Oblivion spell's temporary boost, allowed him to keep the shield just as thick although the double fang ate through it.
The main reason why Unsane kept grinning, though, is because the shards created by the Fangs-on-shield loop didn't fall to the floor. They raised up, and flew straight to Lazenca, hell-bent on mauling him from face to toes.

"!!!"
Each close call was getting closer. This time, as Lazenca leaned hard back and to the left to jump out of the way, his right leg was left behind just a bit to lag. The foot was sliced as if by many papercuts, and a bit of his pant leg was taken off to reveal the shin guard on that leg.
Closer and closer still. He ended that backward hop as a wolf, shifting Feral before settling. It was his fastest state, as would be shown when he snarled and started running. However, it wasn't at Unsane that he ran... he started making a wide circle around the demon. The speed was so much that he seemed to be leaving a shadow trail.
The time taken to run and such was sufficient enough for the smallest of cuts on his foot to heal, what with the generator of energy feet away from him.

Unsane jumped aside and let the claw keep going and get lost in the desert. The sun was starting to set, coloring everything crimson, making the spikes and shards of ice littering the field stained with blood. Reaching into his pocket again, he pulled out a bottle of water (how does he fit all that in there?) and kept it in his right hand.
The left side of Unsane's body stayed toward the wolf, hand at the height of his waist. The demon slowly gathered energy under his feet, into the frozen sand, waiting for what Lazenca would come up with in his animal form.

He seeemed to be running so fast that he was leaving even his shadow trail, which seperated and ended up running opposite Lazenca's position in the circle. The energy buildup Unsane was gathering was masked by the constant looping, so Lazenca was going to have little warning as to what Unsane was doing.
However, the same would hopefully hold true for Unsane's trying to figure out what Lazenca was doing. As for that...
His eyes were on Unsane the whole time, the flanking apparently failing as Unsane kept turning with him. There was little else to do but go in and attack, which happened with Laz spinning out of the run (think Amaterasu's spin dodge). It would take more than the one spin to take him to Unsane, so he started spinning along the ground, sans jump, while he shifted Negative. By the time he was on the elemental, he had fully shifted and spun one last time, foot sliding across where Unsane's front leg should be planted for a hard sweep.
Thing was, it was happening behind him as well, with the Doppelganger that had seperated, and was attacking simultaneous with Lazenca. Laz was sure that Unsane would see the frontal attack and sidestep or jump over it, leaving him open for the back attack. That foot went high, the hurricane roundhouse aimed at his head.
There would be more than the force of his foot connecting, but also that of torque and power built up from the hurricane-spinning motion. It'd just hurt a hell of a lot if both connected... taken off the feet, and hit with enough power to make a normal person spin and flip. As with all things, they went through the kick with a little spin left... testament to the power the legs were bringing.

The snow and dust raising in Lazenca's trail made a ring around Unsane, and the elemental barely noticed the Doppelganger. He didn't mind it and kept his eyes on the wolf.
Once Lazenca broke from the ring to spin toward him, Unsane moved forward to. A single step, before stomping his foot on the sand to jump up. His whole body flipped, and his foot traced a wide arc into the air, snowflakes leaving a trail behind his boot. It then went down heel-first, like an axe about to split lumber, to meet Lazenca's head right before he sweeped at his legs.
As for the Doppelganger, there was nothing to do. The demon would be sent flying off to the side and then sliding into the frozen sand.

For the most part... what Lazenca thought would happen, did happen. Unsane kept his focus on Lazenca while the Doppelganger attacked. Getting a counter-attack or parry was only half expected... getting THAT kind of interrupt was completely unexpected and Lazenca's sweep went wild as his head went down. For a few seconds, he'd be comically spinning on his face in the frozen sand.
The Doppelganger was unharmed and gave chase after Unsane, intending to punt him at the first chance as Lazenca shook his head and regained himself.

The more Unsane saw of Lazenca, the more he was thinking this was the worst idea he ever had. To know that the wolfman was able to double up like that was already a pain in the a**, but to think of what forcing him into using the oblivion spell would bring out was a little less than unpleasant.
So much that it made Unsane smile as he dug his palms into the frozen sand to spin around and face the oncoming doppelganger as he stopped skidding. Barely in time to roll aside from a goal kick and hurry back to his feet, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

The punting had missed, and the foot slammed down hard with the knowledge that Unsane was moving while staying close, which was bad because the counters could come quick. The back leg flew out backwards... while it would be great if the fake mule kick connected, the point was less for hitting him, and more for keeping Unsane moving, interrupting whatever counter he was coming up with.
While that was going on, Lazenca started a running approach, right palm open and facing the ground.

Unsane indeed kept moving, stepping back. Each time his foot left the ground, ice would spike out where it was standing, hoping to hinder the Doppelganger's approach. Unsane frankly didn't want to waste his time with the shadow. He figured that if he beat up Lazenca enough, it would end up disappearing by itself.
That's why he literally faced away from the Doppelganger to dash toward Lazenca. At the same time, the demon dug his claws into his own forearm and raked the top of it, from elbow to wrist. "To my vassal, I offer my arm!" He bellowed.
To my lord, I offer my sword.
As he ran, the snow from the ground picked up and followed Unsane in a sort of bubble. The arm healed immediately; it was after the fight that he'd feel the sacrifice. For now, he was like a cannonball running at Lazenca, left fist balled up. He'd step slightly to the side of the wolfman to shoot it into his stomach and push up in a uppercut, followed with an explosion of snow that could send Lazenca off the ground.

He had to keep getting around the ice, which had the two of them cutting back and dancing for a few seconds, until Unsane managed to turn away and dash to Lazenca. Circling around the pool of jagged shards and creating distance between the two of them, he gave chase.
"He's doing it again..."
Whenever he did that, Unsane just went BERZERKER and walked straight into what Lazenca was doing. The first time was observation, the second time was confirmation. No time to think on more than that, because the two would be upon each other within seconds.
Laz skidded to a stop, and thrust his right hand forward, turning the palm out and revealing but a blinking speck in the middle of his hand. Unsane had the voice heard in the area respond to him... Lazenca's disembodied sound wasn't one that was as calm as Unsane's. With the Backlash Grenade came the sound of gears grinding to a halt as apparent women screamed... the breath of She. There didn't have to be any physical contact between himself and his foe for the move to connect. The speck blew outward in front of the hand... if Unsane's sidestep wasn't deep enough, he would be caught in the radius that was about as wide as Laz's own body and be flash-frozen in a block of ice.
A block that quickly imploded because Lazenca knew better than to give Unsane any ice for free by now. Problem with all that was... the Grenade's flash freeze normally pushed people back, but that's when they were doing a regular run or standing still. It would remain to be seen if Unsane's bull rush would be greater than the Grenade and still have him knock Lazenca over as a block of imploding ice.

It had been explained earlier that Unsane could get through ice under his control as if it wasn't even there. Lazenca even noticed it himself when Unsane froze up his forearm, only to simply pull his hands out of it and leaving the ice intact.
With the boost from the Oblivion spell, taking control of a formation was a matter of blinking twice. The demon literally went through the grenade, ignoring any logic, and the fist would keep on course to knock the air right out of Lazenca's lungs. The snow around Unsane would follow the punch and push him further upward, like a small shockwave.
