Cale Darksun Thats the problem. He's carrying a crapload of trinkets on relatively form fitting clothing, and he's griping about where Link, garbed in bulkier clothing, keeps a small sack of marble sized pearls. The only reason I asked was how you did it while in jail. It was out of curiosity. I thought you had hidden them somewhere else. And a jacket is not exactly form fitting.

He just want's to filch them from you, him lacking the expertise to acquire possesions of monetary value through more sophisticated less-than-legal means.

It was with my personal possesions. Lacking basic knowledge on intergalactic Gems (Link had to be told what Dragon pearls are by the Tuskens) the guards took it for a bag of marbles and kept it with his other items until he was released.

You have to understand that the people of the Galaxy dont know as much about whats going on in it as we do. The Guards were more concerned that I might have narcotics or weapons aside from my sword and gaffi stick. Rare gemstones werent on their mind when they rumaged through my things.
