Ryuji laughed dryly, nodding sort of. I'm sorry to hear about that, I really am... I can't offer much, because I know you aren't interested in me, in that sense, but I can be your friend, I can keep you company, so that you aren't alone...?
Ashili hesitated, really, then nodded, grabbing a very sharp knife from a drawer, handing it to him, biting her black painted lower lip as she waited for his action.

"Well, like I said, I'm no longer going to do the persuing. It's time for someone to show a little interest in me for a change." With this said Lacuna nodded almost in a reassuring way before letting her eyes meet with his.

He snatched it, stumbling to his feet and to a sink. He shoved a sleeve up and, before she could stop him, dug the tip of the knife into his forearm, dragging it upwards towards his elbow. Blood spilled copiously over his arm into the basin and he let out a deep, long moan of simultaneous relife and pain.
"I need him out of me. It burns. Everytime he touches her, I know it, I see it and I feel it. I need him out of me, or it''ll never stop hurting ..."

Heh... Ryuiji laughed semi nervously as he looked away from her gaze. You might not want to say that to a vulnerable guy, he might get heartbroken, he said.
Ashili took a deep breath, nodding. For once, she understood this action. She grabbed some wet towels and began cleaning up, kneeling down as to capture the blood before making even more of a mess down his arm. I would suck the poison from you if you'd allow it of me, my dear, she hummed softly, almost as if she were singing. I know how it feels to be in pain over this.

"What do you mean by that Ryu?", she asked lifting a finger to his chin to turn his face back towards hers.
((Meant reassuring for Lacuna, but this works too. xD Lucius is a crazy mofo. O.o;;; ))

He shook his head, moaning again softly, flexing his arm and shivering, looking very, very white.
"The blood was recycled too long. All I had was his for weeks. And he took mine, so it was just a continuous cycle."
Gritting his teeth, he forcibly turned the knife sideways, so that he was pulling the flat up his arm now, scraping out a bit of tissue was well.
"Besides," he gasped, shuddering, "I like this better."

Ryuji took a deep breath before chuckling softly, shaking his head. Nothing, don't worry... I just... might be falling for you.
Ashili nodded, understanding what needed to be done. She forced a smile before turning away, collecting the dishes from the table. It's... horrible... to see you like this, she said lowly. Do you need new blood? she inquired, as she was curious to this obviously different breed of vampire.

He didn't answer, dropping the knife in the sink and flexing his arm. It was still bleeding, but slowly. There wasn't much left locally for the severed arteries.
"I'd say so. This won't heal without it."
He let the numb arm drop to his side as he started to puch out of the kitchen, when he remembered a vital fact. He turned back to her, muttering flatly with dull, closed eyes,
"Where are we right now? I'm going out to hunt."

"Like you did in the woods, or not quite that hard?", she said with a giggle. "Whenever you decide you're geniuely interested, let me know", she said a bit shyly. "I want to date though, ", she began, "Just so I can make a geniue, real decision if I ever decide to be with someone again."

Ryuji winced at her first comment, but then laughed softly at it. I am genuinely interested... would you be interested in dating someone like me?
Ashili laughed, shaking her head. I'm sure you wouldn't like to go out like that, especially around here, it's quite a busy place, she said. I don't know how to help you, unless you want me to summon someone for you?

Lacuna smiled and swallowed hard with a nod. "Yes, I certainly would be", she said fiddling with her fingernails nervously.

Lacuna opened her mouth and at the absense of words she gave a cheerful grin and threw herself around Ryuji in a hug with an eager nod.

"Me too", she said nuzzling into the warmth with small shivers. "Coooolddd..", she whined looking up at him. "I didn't think you liked me Ryu", she said with a small tilt in her head as she looked into his eyes, her own blue and pale.
