Ninja: Dual cores can be centrino too, there is ceintrino dual cores so double check. And Ummmm well if you dont bother depending on dells service your fine. But mkae sure they send you EVERYTHING. It is very much their habbit to send you SOME cd's you need and not all.

HP is a nice one, they have the ones with fingerprint identifiction, removable media remote and swivel screens.

Hes right, Desktops would definatly be your way to go because they are cheaper, more POWERFUL and also cheaper to upgrade. Laptops are only nice for convience, but if you really want true power at a good price, you go desktop. You can get a pretty well off desktop almost anywhere for between 500-800 and then just upgrade it little by little as you go along.

Even though this desktop com im on now was 1300 CDN... Its got like 3ghz, dual-core, 250gb hard drive, and lots of other fancy gizmos xD
i can watch TV on it O.o
