Ophiuchus A.R.G.U.S Mykal
I got the Chaos Space Marine collector guide, and I was wondering how many styles of Marine there have been? It looks like just two in the guide.
How many generations of Chaos have there been, also?
-Mykal There are 8 major marks of armor, and then several Variants of armor based on each of those. Nurgle appears to use modified MK5.
Have Chaos used all of these?
Black Legion (The flagship army) in Version 4 uses...I think mark 5. No kneepads.
Night Lords (The flagship army) in Version 3 uses some older stuff. They look different.
What were the flagship armies and associated minis for Version 2 and 1 of 40k? Were Chaos even around then? Did they use Crusade and Heresy armour?

-Mykal MK 1 was only useable on Earth. Mk2 was the original space armor. I doubt much of it was in use. They got MK 3 and 4 because all marine legions had large stockpiles of it when the heresy began. Mk5 was heresy armor, so they had this. Mk 6 was made on mars, which they stole when they raided it. They did not get MK 7 or 8, which are Earth born. Yet they never seem to use Mk 6

What're the differenced visually between the armour types?

lol pg 69. Ive just gotten a box of kroot for Xmas and Im gonna be including them in my Iron Warriors army as a advance group. I may use em as Sniper kroot and place em far ahead.

I heard that Kroot could be used by Guard, but not with Chaos.

still useing assult squad instead of raptors , save alot of money but is a pain to convert them with double egde chain sword and lighting claws

Raptors I think look better for Chaos. Converting is all wll and good, but there's something about the Raptor models that I feel looks really smashing. Probably the jump packs, and the face and robes of the Aspiring Champion.

Oh really? I thought anything but Nurgle could have them, because they're a fast attack?

Well I know that Guard can. Sounds like it means only Space Marines, and not Chaos. Chaos is more known as Chaos, after all.

Ah Chaos marines. There is a certian lure following darkness. In my personal opinion, Chaos seems more honest about its intentions (except maybe Tzeentch). They are also less hypocritical than the Imperium. Example: During the Great Crusade, the Word Bearers encouraged worship of the Emperor. The Emperor told them off for worshiping instead of fighting. Yet after the Horus Heresy the Ordo Hereticus was formed and now it's illegal not to worship the Emperor.
