Am I wrong to be deeply disturbed by the fact that a starbucks oatmeal raisin cookie has more calories then a bagel and a bagel is like, a whole meal while a cookie is just...a cookie?

Bagel's are a meal? I snarfed one down today as a snack. But yeah, I can see why it would have more calories. Oatmeal is really filling, and raisins have a pretty high amount of sugar.

Bagels are a fairly large breakfast meal, sorta-small/not-too healthy dinner/lunch. And yeah...guess it does make sense. Totally put me off the idea of ever eating another one of those cookies though. whee
Between 1920's to 1970's the American Gov't forcefully sterilized up to 70k americans that they thought were stupid, disabled, criminalistic, socially inept, or just becayse they were wards if the state. How does that make you feel?

Primo Levi (July 31, 1919 - April 11, 1987) was an Italian chemist and author of memoirs, short stories, poems, and novels. He is best known for his work on the Holocaust, and in particular his account of the year he spent as a prisoner in Auschwitz.

Would you say getting an Alienware laptop as opposed to a more common brand (Dell, HP, etc) is a good idea or a bad idea?
