So he had the feeling, too? Zara cocked her head side to side, not quite able to pin the name, his face, or where she could've possibly met him, but she was never the type to be quick on giving up. She pondered on the thought in the back of her mind, mixing the syrup that settled at the bottom of her iced mocha with a straw. Zara leaned forward, biting her bottom lip and clicking her tongue with narrowed eyes, but the familiar name still didn't belong to anyone her memory allowed to her pinpoint. "Weird..." She said almost in a whisper.

"You have my name, so may I ask yours?" Zara sat up straight at the realization she hadn't told him eariler, "Oh!" She chimed, quick to respond, "Oh, yeah, Zara. It's Zara Kenzo." She finally said. She had been far too distracted on trying to figure out who the man was that it must have slipped her mind. It was just peculiar she couldn't remember him exactly. You'd think meeting someone so... large would've been pretty hard to forget. But then again... Zara had a tendency to surprise herself on the sort of things she let slip her mind.

She finally took a sip of her mocha, pleased with the coffee even though a part of her wished the drink was a tad (honestly a lot more) sweeter. And within that time being, Zara kept her eyes keen on Dare. She thought maybe if she stared at him for a while the memories will come back to her, but that didn't seem very effective. "Mmmm... maybe we've got mutual friends? Maybe we've met briefly through someone..." She paused at the thought. Maybe? Though she doubt it was Alexander. She would've remembered if Alexander was hanging out with someone that looked as rough as Dare... Zara wouldn't have been too trusting of their friendship. Alex had a habit of relapsing when around bad company, and Zara would've been the type to be quick to judge in that case. Crevan was a bit too... shallow in terms of image and those he kept around - although, as she thought about it now, his fiance, Angel, was probably too busy hogging her acclaimed brother to give her any time to see him. "Vixen, maybe? Do you know a Vixen - oh!" Zara snapped her fingers and sat up straighter; a light bulb going off in her head. "Have you been at that club by the beach? Captain's Deck?" It would've made a lot of sense if she came across him in there. Zara went by tons of faces in that dimly lit club when she worked there. She never bothered keeping track of many of them. They were usually too shy to speak to her outside the club walls.

And just as he was trying to burn a hole through his phone that would blast through Ryan's head, Dante's phone chirps. Finally the message he was wanting comes through, but he did ponder on what made it delay in delivery; Time stamps not matching up quite right.

Neon Lights in downtown. If you heed a ride let me know. If not, I'll see you there soon. ; )

His cup wasn't done but a few more sips and he was done with his drink. Dante didn't much mind wasting half of his coffee when his playgirls were ready to hit the scenes and though the issue with Ryan had to be settled he figured he'd finish that later. Dante always gave his victims a day to run before going on the hunt for them. It was something he did, like a calling card one might say, and Ryan knew this better then anyone before. After all, Ryan use to be his most trusted shooter.

While she could definitely bake all this stuff on her own, it's nice to try something from a restaurant sometimes. Plus, Rina feels like spending a bit more time away from home. After the whole conversation she had with Alfons about Ryan being a drug dealer, she just feels... uneasy at home. It was just a good idea in her mind to air out and just forget about things for a while. And she realizes that she doesn't really have anyone here to talk to! All of her best friends are in Oregon, so all she can do is talk to them on the phone! They can't give her a hug if she really needs one! And she shouldn't bother Seth with everything! Other than him, she hasn't really gotten to know anyone else! It's high time for her to try and get to know some other people! But for now, what better way to relax than to play some Pokemon and eat a slice of cake and a brownie? She sat up with her legs on her chair, mashing away on her 3DS, getting lost in battles and some grinding.

Millie opened the door rather quickly to the coffee shop, the wind gusting around her as the change in temperature and pressure mixed. Holding her mixed colored hair down so it didn't get in her face, she slipped through the door and shivered from the cold. Shrugging her shoulder to fix her backpack, she marched her way up to the counter. There was a small line, so she was content to wait as she rifled through to grab her wallet. Luckily, she had taken her meds this morning, sometimes forgetting if she was distracted or in a hurry. While they hadn't kicked in quite yet, she was already starting to feel in a good mood. This type of weather helped with that. People often considered Millie a doom and gloom type because she enjoyed the rougher weather rather than the nicer weather. It brought her comfort. Plus, the sun was nearly her worst enemy! Her blue eyes made it almost impossible to see without sunglasses and if she wasn't wearing sunscreen, she'd more than likely get burned. There was no possible way she could feel good out in the sun if she had so many problems. She also didn't like the heat; at all!

"What can I get you?" the barista asked as Millie approached the counter, not even really realizing she had been moving in line. Shaking her blue and white hair, she gave a slight smile to the young girl. "Uhm...A grande iced white mocha should be fine," she replied softly as her crystal blues scanned over the menu. Pursing her lips as she continued to look, her index finger tapped against her chin in thought. The feeling of her empty stomach reared its ugly head and she decided to splurge and get something to eat as well. "And a banana nut muffin," she added as she dropped her hand to the counter. After her order had been placed and she had paid, Millie shuffled her way over to a vacant chair with a small table between her chair and another. Lucky for her, she was sitting near an outlet! Setting her bag by her feet as she sat down to wait for her order, she pulled out her laptop and opened it up. As she waited for her computer to boot up, her eyes wandered to the folks inhabiting the coffee shop.

The young woman had a bad habit of watching people from a distance. As an introvert, interacting on a social level with people was hard to do. It was only made harder with her disorders. They often thought she was some kind of weirdo if they caught her staring at them, and they are probably right. On a second level of her being an introvert, she didn't think very highly of herself and thus would just agree with any bad things said about her. But it wasn't like she was doing it to be creepy! She only watched people to see how they interacted with the people and things around them. If she watched them enough, maybe she could pick up enough habits to, at least, pretend to be a normal person. Maybe. Her crystal hues wandered the coffee shop a moment before settling on the girl sitting adjacent her. She seemed dead focused on the game she was playing on her DS. It actually reminded Millie of herself as she played her own games, not really liking being disturbed unless absolutely necessary. With curiosity filled eyes, she tried to sneakily lean over and peek at what the girl was playing, being forced to close the space between appropriate personal bubbles in order to see. "Pokemon, nice choice..." she mentioned softly, mostly to herself but given their new proximity, it was likely the girl heard her as well.

「 ☞ OOC: I will fix my post layout when I fix my computer. I just noticed it's all messed up sweatdrop 「 ☞ MONEY: $995.25 xxxx

With the weather not showing any signs of letting up, Koharu finally conceded and left his apartment to explore the town. After hours of job hunting in the downpour, a very wet and disgruntled fox-boy had entered the coffee shop for a hot drink and a chance to dry out - and, by happy coincidence, they were in serious need of management.

The rest had gone by in a blur, and now, the very morning after his assignment, here was Koharu dressed smartly in a white button-up and a black vest and tie, belted slacks and dress shoes hidden by the industrial counter he was stationed behind.

He actually rather liked coffee shops - though he would admit that he was severely disappointed by the lack of variety in the tea available. He would have to pull a few strings if he could, and try and remedy that situation. After all, he was first and foremost a tea man.

'I wish I could do something about the decor, too,' he mused, taking a moment to observe the dark, iron-and-steel covered cafe space. "Put in a few more windows.. Bring in some natural light, maybe add a few indoor plants.." He was already planning a remodel in his mind. Whether or not he would get approval to do so, well.. That remained to be seen.

The cafe was empty, so far - it was barely dawn - and so Koharu busied himself with making sure the coffee was stocked, the mugs were clean, and the place looked presentable. He had his work cut out for him. As it turned out, the previous manager had left things in quite a state, and it wasn't long before Koharu had his sleeves rolled up and a bit of sweat beading on his brow. Knowing him, though, he would have things done and clean in plenty of time for the customers to arrive. Such was his way.

Leon Hawke

Leon had a good time with Summer the day before. After they got done at the park, they had ended up sitting and talking for hours... Leon felt like he could really connect with her - and it had been a long time since he'd felt this way about anyone. They had made plans to meet each other at Moonbucks Cafe the next day. When Leon had finally gone home, he found that for whatever reason he simply couldn't get Summer off of his mind. And even when he'd gone to bed, he'd ended up dreaming about her...

It was another dreary day, and rain fell from an overcast grey sky. It seemed that this stormy weather wouldn't end anytime soon - but Leon didn't mind - he had always enjoyed the rain. He parked his BMW X6 outside of the cafe and walked in. As soon as he stepped inside, the rich aroma of coffee struck his nostrils. He smiled, taking a deep breath. Looking around, he noticed the bleak and rather industrial decor of the place. Some may have enjoyed this style, finding it to be hip or trendy. Leon, on the other hand didn't care for it. He found it to be cold, austere, and uninviting. He would have personally preferred to see some wood paneling with warm colors, antique furniture, and some good, non-kitschy paintings on the walls rather than the soulless abstract art that looked as if it had been mass-produced. Oh well... he could only hope that Moonbucks had better taste in coffee than they did in interior design.

Looking around at the cafe, Leon saw that Summer hadn't arrived yet. He got in line at the counter and waited. He considered ordering himself his favorite non-dairy white chocolate mocha - but he knew it would only frustrate him, because it wouldn't even be half as good as the ones that Summer used to make down in LA. He ended up ordering himself a dirty chai with a double shot of espresso instead. He then sat down at a table near the window and slowly sipped his drink, waiting for her to show up... He pulled his laptop out of his case and set it up on the table. He decided he'd work on his manuscript a bit while he was waiting for her to show up - but he found he simply couldn't concentrate. He was thinking about Summer instead... her bright smile, her soft chestnut hair, and those beautiful blue eyes of her. The way she laughed; her kind, gentle soul... He watched the falling rain through the window, hoping that she'd show up soon.

Sidevi || On Person: $80 || In Bank: $740 || Mood: BORED

The previous day had been nice for Sidevi she was able to meet some new people and watch fish swim in a tank while.. eating fish. She was beginning to feel more like a normal person than she ever had really. She had befriended a celestial spirit then met someone who was essentially a grim reaper. She was just a photographer who happened to not be fully human.. Anyways! Why is it still RAINING, Sidevi liked rain as much as anybody else but her camera absolutely hates rain. And it's raining too hard for her to try and risk it like before.

She had managed to set herself up at a table with her laptop that she brought in a case. She also had a few cookies sat beside said laptop that she had bought, while waiting for mainly the day to pass if anything. She was just playing a game to waste time. Of course, she had the volume turned off so nobody else was bothered if anyone had glanced at her she was just moving her fingers across the touch pad and tapping a lot, while leaning on her free hand.

It could be worse she thought... Imagine if it was somehow raining acid. Since the game didn't require much of her attention she would occasionally glance around at the people who had gathered inside.

It had popped an idea in her head that she should visit, and perhaps bring one of her books along to enjoy over a nice hot coffee. After all with the rain scheduled to last until the end of the week, she was going to need a pick-me-up; as much as Julie adored the rain, it did tend to make her feel a bit sleepy.

                                                                        > xxxxx'Oh, this is... quaint..?' she thought as she stepped inside. Her eyes scanned around the place and noted a couple of people apart from each other as they enjoyed a treat. What she wouldn't give for a giant window seat stuffed with cushions,

✌Lala yawned under her mask as she held her cute little umbrella. Jack had kept her up late last night talking about everything. Himself, what he wanted to do in life, he even helped her cook a second meal. Normally staying up late was a thing she'd do when she streamed, or even when she played a game by herself, but to just stay up and talk, it was something different. Lala scratched the back of her head and looked up at the cafe's sign, smiling a little. It was cute. She needed some caffeine for later today. She had to stream tonight for charity, and if she was going to survive this all nighter, she needed to be well caffeinated.
✌Lala opened the door and wiped her feet on the mat, closed her umbrella and shook it off, placing it in the holder next to the door, then walked up and stood in line. She pulled her phone out and scrolled through social media as she waited. She looked at all the fan cafes, the tweets, even the little messages on her streaming page. Everyone was already so excited to see her house, she was excited to share it! As the line kept moving, Lala hardly looked up. Her fans are the best! Already sending her gifts in the mail, supporting messages, they even made compilations of her game play! She couldn't ask for anything better. Lala was so stuck into her phone that she didn't notice the girl in front of her stopping to stare up at the menu. With a small 'oof' noise, Lala dropped her phone and sighed. She quickly bent and snatched her phone back up and bowed Sorry!

The morning had been pretty slow so far, with only a small handful of customers straggling in - he couldn't blame them, though. Not many people would want to come out in the rain just for a cup of coffee.

His lean body rested on his elbows against the wooden countertop, while his dark eyes flickered between his two newest patrons, watching to see if they would require anything. Naturally, they seemed to be fairly self-sufficient, and Koharu was left to his own thoughts. Until the bell at the door jingled, and he bolted upright to greet the new customer. "Irasshaimase!" he called out, biting his tongue shortly afterward when he realized his mistake. "Welcome to Moonbucks Cafe," he corrected, flashing a small smile at the girl who had just come in from the wet. "We have a fine selection of coffee available - if you would care to sample anything, I would be happy to serve you; if not, just let me know when you're ready to order."

Upon closer inspection, Koharu realized just how wet the girl had gotten outside, and he immediately felt sorry for her. 'Poor thing,' he thought, remembering how uncomfortable he had been yesterday when he'd been out in the wet. Reaching under the counter, the slight-built man produced a simple white towel and offered it to the girl with an apologetic smile. "For your face, if you would like to dry up a bit.. The weather outside has been something else, lately.."

It wasn't long before another girl had entered, earning another "Welcome" from Koharu, who seemed happy that he was getting so much business. "I'll be with you in just a moment," he said, biting his cheek suddenly when he saw the new girl bump right into the girl he was already helping. Well, some people were a bit more klutzy than others.

Sidevi glanced up at the sound of people talking, as she was clearly wasting time. The sound of someone and a phone hitting the floor got her attention as she looked over at them. Clearly the one wasn't looking! Maybe.. Sidevi thought, she was prone to doing the same sometimes so she couldn't comment. Not many were here so she felt brave enough to speak "Hopefully you didn't break that." She was talking to the girl in the mask.

Wait.. mask. Sidevi squinted her eyes at the girl for a moment, who just wears a mask and goes to a coffee shop?
