[ 16. Nostalgic ]
She'd come back to the lake again. Despite not all the memories being that pleasant, she still enjoyed remembering them. They made her feel... normal. She found her spot from yesterday and settled down completely, starting to touch the water.
She was on the island where she was studying away from her home. No one here was a Horseman, the customs were so different and she was having a hard time adjusting. It wasn't that she wasn't paying attention, she was! Probably too much, which made things a bit awkward and people not wanting to talk to her.
It was on days like this, however, where she sat in her room, with the door open to the outside, a summer breeze that reminded her of home. Nostalgia always washed over her on days like today. She would just lay down on the floor, in the sun and doze. Even she needed a break now and then. She would breath in the air and just long for home.

[ 17. Empty ]
She'd been writing so much lately, taking so many notes, translating so many documents, that she hadn't noticed how low her ink jar was getting. Of course she didn't have a spare, either. She rubbed at her nose now and then, smearing ink there, and on her face because she would accidentally stick her hand down in a drop that made it to the table instead of staying in the bottle.
It wasn't until late at night and she went to go dip her quill back in her ink jar did she realize it was empty. Gone completely. Blinking, she picked it up and held it to the candle flame only to realize she was looking through it.
"...I guess... that's it for tonight," she said putting the empty ink jar back down. "How sad.."

This is his third day here. And his sanity is declining rather rapidly.
He even not sure was this the reality and all his life in Halloween---or rather in Earth is real.
Time for some soul-searching again.
"-and what if the memories here....was just altogether a false one?"
He hoped it not.
Silently, he submerged one of his hand into the water...
Morning.
The alarm clock rang.
The birds nesting in a tree beside his room is chirping.
New morning is born out of the night's darkness.
A young boy wiggling his way out of the blanket's embrace.
Of warmth, of drowsiness, of slumber, of comfort.
Five more minutes are his usual mantra-
-about three minutes is all they got, really. More or less.
Before that protection yanked from him.
And so, the day before ended.
And so, the new day started.
For the laws of the normality-
-for the laws of the ordinary-
-for the laws of the normality that he knows said so.
Smiling, Borg retracted his hand from the water.
A little...just a little sanity has returned to him.

Once again Byakko found himself back at the lake and kneeling by the waters. He reached forward, wondering what he would be seeing this time.
~He tucked his hands in his pockets as he walked down the street. He hadn't been in this town for a good couple years now, not since his second foster family, and it was weird seeing how it had and hadn't changed. His wondering came to a pause when he spotted an old movie theater advertising some of the new movies. It put a smile on his face that it was still open seeing how much he had gone to it over the months he was with the family.~

The second memory was right on the first ones tail.
~He stared out the window with half lidded eyes, just watching as the full, grey clouds rolled on by. The overcast sky turned the back yard dull and tired looking even with the wind that came with the coming storm doing it's best to liven things up. In his opinion it was the perfect napping weather and it was making he quite sleepy...~

The third one started up as soon at the previous one faded.
~He carefully pulled the tab up on the envelope, making sure not to rip any contents inside, then looked in to see a single piece of paper. He lifted it from the envelope with a nervous in breath then looked it over, skimming most of it before coming to the relevant part. He had passed.~
Once it had faded he was once again left with loot, making the feelings from his last memory that much better.

Once again, Borg dipped his hand into the lake's water.
Days of long past, memories of long last.
Rippled in his eyelids.
If he shut his eyes, he can went back in time.
Relieving the scenario that has been buried in the back of his head.
A photobook is all he has to glimpse.
Happy times, sad times, funny event, unexpected accidents...
With a flip of the book a roller-coaster of emotion.
With a flip backwards, back in time.
With a flip forwards, watching the progress.
As the 'you' inside the picture progressed.

At first, there were none.
Just a strange light at front of him.
At the end, there was also none.
For he is one being, almost eternal.
Sound is all he after now.
Memories do not matter much as before.
For he is now not admist the living anymore.
The beats of this world is different from the last world he was in.
Before it was noisy, with emphasis on uniformity.
Because the laws shaping it was laws of unity.
But this new world was full of uncertainty.
Because each inhabitants have their own sense of reality.
It is not forced to uniform. It values individuality.
That is now his world.
Now grinning widely, Borg retracted his hand back.
He is Undying=Borg in this world. He was Eir in the world of the Kings. He was Rei in the world of Queens.
But foremost-
He is Rei. Rei the Tsukumonogami. The former human.
The now, a residence of Halloween Town.

[ 5. Beginnings ]
In the beginning, they had made certain that no one could tell them apart. Even their parents were never quite certain if they were talking to him or his twin. It was funny as all get out and made it very easy for them to cause double the trouble.
Later, their family insisted they at least have differing hair styles; initially neither liked it, but as both aged the individuality was nice. Just because there were inward and outward differences didn't mean it was any harder for them to cause trouble.
If anything, the differences were the real beginning of their troubled youths.

[ 7. Hatred ]
It burned like the sun on their pale skin, bright and hot. Coiling low and deep in the gut...just waiting for an outlet. Hatred was counter-conductive to rational thought, RavenousDelirium knew this. His twin knew it too, they talked about it quite often and decided together that they would try to avoid falling prey to such a raw emotion.
Good idea in theory, but when they joined the gang, things changed...

Her family members shuffled around her, grazing on the grass and seeds, and ignored her all together. Not that it bothered her too much, as she had forgotten the question before she even made it to where her mother was clawing a root out of the ground. She pestered her with questions on where the root came from, what it would taste like, and why she wanted to dig it up, but her mother ignored those too. When they settled down for the night some hours later, the silhouette of her mother’s monstrous form compared to her as of yet unborn siblings prompted her to ask again.
