"Very, I wonder exactly they have planned," Lin admitted.
All three involved seemed quite excited by the idea.

"Probably not much, considering Miyuki just pitched the idea to Iorlas on our way back to the inn," Earendil pointed out with a chuckle. He led the way down the corridor towards the dining room. "Though who knows what they may have fleshed out by this time. We have left them alone for a few minutes, after all."
Andarien laughed. "Yeah, they can come up with things pretty quickly. Especially Lancaeriel, once she starts thinking about something. She's got all that experience behind her, she can always draw on something she's done before."

This, it turned out was very true. While Lin and Earendil had gone to get Andarien, Miyuki had been asking her teacher what sort of illusions would work best. She had heard of moving pictures back in Gaia (but since most of the Winters weren't into television she wasn't overly familiar with it). She also bounced ideas of what would be the best sort of story to craft, what that was informational like the little essays she use to write or perhaps one with an actual story? She knew plenty of history from other places...
She also asked Iorlas what she would like to see, since she was to be the narrator.

Iorlas was suggesting various stories, told with certain flourishes or things left out - the incident with Aerin and the dragons, flying on the rocs, the Pokemon battles, some of the celebrations they'd seen in various places ...
"Of course, you could also choose a story yourself, and I can just narrate what you do," she added as she bounced Amir gently on her lap. "Though I suppose it would work best if we all know the story so that we're all in sync."
She liked the idea of being able to share their experiences.
"The best part," she added, "is that every time we go to a new place, we'll have new stories to share."

Miyuki nodded at this, "The more we see, the more we know."
There was still so much they hadn't seen yet after all.
"It'll be interesting to see how this goes, just to see how other people will react to it as well," Miyuki added.
She didn't know what to expect out of something like this.

"I hope it goes well," Iorlas said, a bit anxiously. She still wasn't used to being in the spotlight - or being accepted, for that matter.
"I'm quite certain it will," Lancaeriel assured her friend. "I have been among many people over a very long period of time, and I have observed that people are essentially the same, no matter where you are. They enjoy being told stories, even without moving images to accompany them, or music. The only thing is, in certain places we will have to be careful what we show so that we do not insult the culture of the place where we are."
Iorlas cocked her head curiously. "For example?"
"For example, showing an attack by a certain group of people - even if it is just narrative - would not be advisable if we were in an area with that type of people," Lancaeriel replied patiently. "Or if we are in a place that reveres dragons, showing Queen Aerin killing the two dragons would be inadvisable as well."

Miyuki nodded at this, she could completely understand that.
"So it's choosing the stories with care," Miyuki added, "But there are plenty of other stories we can choose instead that doesn't necessarily have to do with fighting, or are neutral in tone."
Even ones where they described the places or the people would be enough depending on what they wanted.

"That is very true," Iorlas agreed. "And with Lancaeriel's experiences, we could also come up with quite a bit from distant history if we wanted, I'm sure."
"I don't mind sharing stories," Lancaeriel volunteered with a smile. "Though you will have to give me an idea of what exactly you're looking for, since I've been through so much."
While she was speaking, Andarien entered the dining room with Earendil and Lin.
"Good morning," he greeted everyone as he took a seat next to Kaito.

"Good morning Andarien," Miyuki greeted her little brother, "All the gears were re-sorted?"
She just asked for the sake of asking though, since she was pretty sure that Andarien would not be down if he hadn't gotten all of them sorted.

Andarien nodded, grinning. "Yeah, Eon and Zeus were helpful with that. Once I showed them how to sort, anyways."
He patted the Pokéballs at his waist, careful not to press any of the buttons and set the Pokemon inside free.
"Nana and Ada say you're going to check out an amphitheater," he said, his tone curious. "Where did you get the idea for telling stories?"

"I'm not completely sure," Miyuki admitted, "It just started from talking about how to make money while we traveled, to wanting to spread other cultures while we traveled to... somehow stories would be a good place to start."
Stories would be a very good place to start really, since it wasn't like she had any money to buy anything to sell anywhere else. Miyuki didn't even know how that would work actually.

"I think it's a good idea," Andarien agreed with a smile. "I wonder if I could make things to sell, though I don't know what I would do. One thing I've been noticing as we've been going places, people don't much buy things that aren't going to be useful. Other than my watches, most of the things I make are ornamental or just really neat in some way, not always useful."
His smile faded slightly. He knew he was going to have to figure out a way to earn money as well, if only to buy supplies for his work once the gears he had now ran out.

"Hmm..." Miyuki murmured.
That was a good point, while Andarien could do decorative things, they wouldn't sell as often.
"I don't know what else small gears are used for," Miyuki admitted, "Maybe ask Shiro? Gaia had been using small gears for centuries before using what they use now, maybe he knows what else was created in a useful sense."

"Yeah, there's a thought," Andarien mused. "Though I guess in the meantime, I do have my clocks and other timepieces I can make."
Though he had just sat down, he pushed his chair back and stood up again. "Let's go see that amphitheater Nana and Ada were talking about," he suggested. "I'm stiff from all that sorting, I need to walk a bit. And after that, Nana and Ada said we can check out the area outside the city for setting up our tents, since the Pokemon need room to run around and I need room for training."

"That's actually a good idea," Miyuki murmured.
Now that she thought about it, she hadn't trained in a while, and she would need room to cast her illusions and see what she could do and what would and wouldn't work. Being outside would provide far more room.
Besides, it wasn't like tent living was crowded, and maybe if she had time in the future (or if she was bored) she would think of turning a tent into some sort of portable home to live in or something.
"I guess we're ready to get moving then."
