 "Cuddling?" Daren looked back at Tim, confused for a second, before he smiled and held out an arm. "sure, if that will help." cuddling was nothing if it helped Tim feel better, and Daren knew he'd enjoy it as well. despite how he was raised, or maybe because of it, Daren had always craved touch. to be held or even to be near someone else and feel their body heat. he'd had a couple lovers, very few actually, Iroh being the only one he'd been able to sustain a relationship with. Iroh just seemed to get him, but now-he wondered if Tim would be able to understand him as well.

 Timothy happy took the extended arm into his own two arms and hugged it happily. "And we slowly migrate to the warmer regions." And soon had clung himself to the man's torso like a fly to tape. "You know I never actually hugged my moms a lot. Mother mostly grabbed me at random and hugged me and if Mom hugged me it was to make me feel better, but I never did a lot of hugging." and sighed, giving a smile. "I don't know why. It feels nice."

Daren settled his arm around Tim's shoulders and nodded a bit, "my mother would hug me, but the strongest memories of her hugs are not good ones. but she hugs me at other times and i remember how warm she felt and how much i liked it." he looked away, "it wasn't until i grew older that i learned how nice giving a hug could be. you are right, there is just something about taking someone else into your arms and holding them close that isn't like any other feeling in the world." he gave Tim's shoulders a little squeeze and let his head drop, "could fall asleep just sitting here like this. i shouldn't, i really shouldn't, but i could anyways."

"Hugging shows you care and it's connecting yourself with someone for a moment because that's trust." Timothy said "Or that's the hunger or sore muscles talking." and smiled up at the sleepy police officer. "If you're sleepy then you should sleep. We can eat when you wake up. It's not very appetizing to watch someone snore into their food."

Daren shook his head, "if i sleep now, i won't sleep tonight." he shook his head a little and took a deep breath, "you're right though, that's defiantly why hugs feel so good. might just be the muscles or the hunger, but they are right." he smiled at Tim and stretched his back slightly, popping it, "you should take a hot bath later, it'll help with your muscles."

"I'm sure you'll sleep tonight. I always sleep when I get the chance." Only because it had been more out of survival than anything. Andrew couldn't always get mad at him when he was sleeping. He still remembered that man waking him up by dumping really hot water on him. Boiling would leave scars, hot water didn't. "Hey, maybe that warm lotion and stuff I could use on you. I'm good at giving massages and you probably need it more than me if you're jealous of me being strong." Which he wasn't. Tim wasn't strong at all.

Daren shrugged, "i've insomnia, remember? i try to not take naps, it only makes it worse." the idea of Tim giving him a massage was tempting, but Daren couldn't ask him to do that. "You are strong, i know you don't believe me, but anyone weak wouldn't have survived what you did. they would have taken their own life long before now. and yet, here you are, whole and well, starting a new life with your head held high. i call that being very strong indeed." maybe if he focused on something else, then Tim would forget.

"Well it doesn't help to just lie down, then. You won't fall asleep if I keep you awake while lying down, right?" he asked curiously before Daren focused back on him being strong. "I would try to kill myself but you're with me 24/7 not including when my mother's have time to visit." he said with a sigh, cuddling closer to the man. "I can't bat an eyelash without anyone knowing." He stayed silent for a few moments before looking up once more, "You avoided my question of a warm lotion massage. I'm very good. I got Andrew to relax and even smile at my hands." of course said hands were massaging parts that were involved in happy endings.

Daren sighed, "i meant before. there were ways, you could have figured out how. but you didn't even think of ending your life, did you? never once occurred to you, you just endured and did everything you could to make the best out of a s**t situation and that, Tim, is your strength." he lifted an eyebrow at Tim bringing up the massage again, him plan hadn't worked. "i'll only agree if you agree to let me give you one as well."

"You're right... I didn't really think of ways out. I just hoped that he'd really love me back one day and we'd go to the way we used to be." Some small part of him was still hoping for that even if he didn't love Andrew anymore. he stilled hoped Andrew would go back and they cold have a few days of love. "I'll agree to that if I can give you a massage first." the man leaned against the other, looking up hopefully.

Daren lifted his hands up, "alright, alright, you win. be careful of my shoulder, ok? it's still sore." he smiled and carefully got out from under Tim to go and get his lotion. he put it in the microwave to heat it up and then brought it back out to the living room. "I was thinking the bed would be easiest, sound good to you?"

"I'll be careful. I'm really gentle with my hands I promise. Think of this as a thank you for letting me stay." Oh he was so excited. One of his famous massages as a thank you. Daren was sure to appreciate this. Every man appreciated Timothy's massages. But the lotion bottle was near hot when given to Tim. "Wow this will make things so much better. You must get massages often if you know the temperature you need." and nodded, following Aomine into the bedroom. "You'll need to strip. You can keep your boxers on I know how to work around them." The red-head opened the lotion and put only a dollop on his palm, placng the bottle down and rubbed it all over his hands and up his wrists before going halfway up both arms. "Wow, this is really slick and spreadable and it doesn't get sticky or tacky." He smiled, wiping his hands on his shirt and pausing. "Um, I'm going to take off my shirt so when I lean over it doesn't drape on you. It's kind of baggy." He frowned a bit at this but took it off anyway, drying his hands and waiting for Aomine to get ready.

Daren shook his head, "i don't get them, i give them to Iroh often though. as well as to Anna, she likes them. i just know what temperature lasts the longest." he did as he was told, stripping down to his boxers before laying face down on the side of the bed. "no, it's ok, i do it too." when doing a laying down massage it was easiest to take off your shirt if you weren't wearing one a bit tighter. he closed his eyes and forced himself to relax, not used to casual touch like this. that is, if you could call a massage 'casual'.

Timothy grabbed the pillows, placing one underneath the man's chest and ankles before grabbing one from his room and placing it underneath his head. "There. Everything is supported. I'm going to start now." he poured oil into his hand before rubbing them together and moving to kneel on the bed, hands lightly sliding over the tanned back, shoulders and neck. "I'm glad your hair is short. I don't have to worry about it getting sticky." and gave a smile, making sure the hot oil was everywhere before starting the actual massage. He wanted this to be as painless for Aomine as possble, but he was tense. "Daren, you're going to need to relax if you want me to not accidentally hurt you. " he said softly, "I won't be able to do a full body massage if you won't even let me help your back relax."

Daren let out a soft grunt, "and here i thought i was relaxed..." he shook his head a little and glanced back at Tim, thought that turned out to be a bad idea. Tim was shirtless and his arms slightly shiny from the lotion on them. he lay his head back down and took a long, deep breath, relaxing as much as he could. "better?"
