it also doesnt help that people are told what to watch and what to like and what to think is weird and unlikable based on the fact its abnormal

Michael Cera was enjoyable in arrested development and year one I think but he really needs to switch up on the awkward teen role which I feel has worn out its welcome after the 74th time

I thought with that last post you were frustrated and wanted to let off some steam. Maybe you had an argument with somebody.
Clearly this is our trade off between generations, as people make more movies our quality of actors clearly getting lower and lower. More one not actors are getting more acceptable. Seth Rogen as the stoner, Micheal Cera as the awkward teenager, hugh Grant as the lovable Brit that stutters a whole shitload. I can go on.

Well, quality in movies in general seems to be an issue, Avatar is number one in the box office because it looks pretty. That's it.

That story was borderline preachy bullshit. People were just deluded because it was beautiful.
Now it's like a standard. Shitty Movie? make it in that new 3d and people will flock. Resident Evil is going to do so as well.
and if all else fails, remake a movie or tv show from the 80's.

Don't worry man, you're not the only one, people don't go to the movies to see good movies anymore, they go to be distracted by pretty colors. Instead of forging ahead with new ideas and greater technology, they just grow complacent and settle for crap and pump it full of cheap effects.

Christopher Walkin and Marlon Brando constantly forgot their lines. They made up for it with awesome ******** delivery. All that talent balanced it out!

They might of forgot, but they put all their effort into the moment, to make that scene the best scene they've done. And Brando could direct and create, Citizen Kane is still put among the greatest movies ever made.
