Rincewind awoke to see Val sitting up, likely because her shift for the watch had not ended. "Good morning," he said, nibbling her earlobe.

Ceri awoke early. She stood up and stretched. She then went for a walk around the woods.

Ceri didn't hear the comment. She was pacing, thinking about why Mala didn't tell her bout her quest. So many things bothered her. It was hard to think straight.

Ceri came back to camp. She sat down by Alek and sighed. She looked over at him. "Are you asleep?" she asked.
