I'm name is Kay, I'm 19 and I'm from New England. I'm a college student, Supermarket Cashier, writer/poet. I have no clue what I want to do with myself.

My interest and hobbies are usually broadly defined as writing, reading, drawing,World War I,History,Theology/Religion and letting my ADHD get the best of me.

I love 90% of all rock music, comics, Don Bluth films, Italian Food, Sour Candies, Heath Legder, Willem Defoe,Period Films, Chocolate Cheese Cake and epic classical/ethic music

I am not Jewish. I do, however, have a strong love and admiration for Judaism and the Jewish people. I'm not really anything religious speaking, but at present I'm in the beginning stages of contemplating conversion to Judaism. Who knows, maybe sometime in the future my Religious label will just say "Jewish" as apposed to "Lapsed Roman Catholic Agnostic with "Jewish Tendencies"

My name is Rhiannon, I'm 18. But almost every calls me Rai. :3 My parents named me Rhiannon after a Fleetwood Mac song. The name itself is Celtic/Welsh, meaning great queen, witch and nymph. I think the latter applies to me because I am very mischevious. :3

I was born in Illinois but I currently live in Texas. I hate it a lot. It gets too freaking hot.

I am a gay rights supporter, and pro-choice but anti-abortion. I always feel the need to fight for the underdog. It's how I was raised by my dad, and might have something to do with how I grew up when I was a kid.

I mainly post in the ED, and I'm starting to post in the LD. :3

My music tastes are for the most part eclectic. I'll listen to anything from rock all the way up to classical. Minus emo, screamo and country. My favorite bands/singers are Rob Zombie, Led Zeppelin, Gackt, Dir En Grey, Miyavi, LM.C, Blink 182, Tool, Disturbed to name a few.

I like anime/manga. :3

I like to draw, read and write. I love History and English, and Religion.

I hate it when people feel the need to discourage those that want to believe what they want to believe because they feel it be right. To me spirituality and choosing a religion is a personal path that no one should dare interfere with.

I am not Jewish, however I am interested in learning more about Judaism. To me Judaism seems more and more like an authentic true blue monotheistic religion compared to Christianity. Religiously, I am an eclectic pagan seeking info, however with each passing day I'm leaning more towards agnosticism.

Honestly I don't know what sort of paganism to follow. I've been told that you can't worship certain deities because they're oathbound or you can't claim to be something because one minor sect demands you be initiated even if you don't want to be apart of that sect..

which is why I'm leaning to agnosticism..

Yo, my name is Brittany, and I'm currently 18 as I write this. I am from Mississippi. Yes, we do have computers too!

My Gaia username is obviously Key West Intermezzo, named after one of my favorite songs. I hang out on the forums; mostly in Site Feedback, Lifestyle Discussion, Life Issues, Extended Discussion, and Morality & Religion, but I have found myself going to the last two more often.

I currently have a job at Wendy's. Although I don't want to be stuck like that forever! My dream is to be an art teacher.

I don't have many hobbies, other than drawing and making art. Even if I am horrible at art, I do like to try a whole bunch of different mediums and art styles out. I also like collecting scarves.

Favorite things...well, for my favorite food, I guess I can say Chicken & Dumplings. My favorite musician is John Mellencamp and my favorite artist (that I know of so far) would have to be Norman Rockwell. My favorite article of clothing is scarves, of course! My favorite animal are dogs.

I joined this guild, not because I am Jewish, but I wanted to "observe" you guys, if I can say that without seeming like I am creepy. Since I'm obviously from the South, Protestant churches are mostly here, making any synagogue a rarity. So I guess I will have to resort to online tactics. This way I can learn more about the Jewish culture and see if it's right for me. ^^ I currently refer to myself as a Noachide, so yes, I do believe in Gd.

There are three synagogues in Mississippi, all Reform (no Orthodox, Conservative, Renewal, Reconstructionist, Traditional...), and all Ashkenazi as opposed to Sephardi or Mizrachi, which I am. I haven't been to any of them, since none of them are within walking distance of any of my family members, and I don't drive on Shabbat. But next time I'm in the state, let's try to get together and have us a good sit-down. I'll bring snacks.
