A soft snap could be heard as Brad had tripped a wire, causing a small explosive to go off at his feet. Luckily, the explosive had been worn down due to weather and age, and would do no more than launch Brad past Alex and Rud, unharmed from the blast itself..

Parts of Brad's clothing was smoking due to the attack, causing his eye to twitch.

Right before the explosion occurred, he slammed the shield onto the mine, causing the explosion to hit downward, causing soil to go everywhere.

One of Rud's fingers then flicked Alex on the back of the head. Were she to look over her would be staring at the sky, as if he did nothing at all.
