Seika smirked at Yuzuki's reply and nodded. She understood what Yuzuki meant. The last Chunin exam wasn't that impressing either. People were only excited about the round with Ichite-ru and Shuniji. Though that was quite some time ago. It wasn't surprising that this years exams were lacking potential. It was hard to find now a days..
Seika had been too wrapped up in her own thoughts to fully register Yuzuki's other question straight away. "Ah, well it all has to do with how you- Wait what!?" She spat with a completely mortified look on her face. WHY WAS SHE LOOKING?! AND FOR HOW LONG?!
Once she landed on a larger tree branch, she spun around with her hands clenched and glued to her sides. "We're stopping for the night now! SHUT THE HELL UP AND GO TO SLEEP OR SOMETHING.." Seika snapped a bit louder than normal. She was obviously embarrassed by Yuzuki's question and was now more self conscious about what she was wearing.
Seika sat down rather stiffly, still looking a bit unnerved. Nobody ever really questioned the way she looked, only the way she acted. So she wasn't used to it. Still...this Yuzuki girl was strange. It was hard to read her, especially with the random awkward questions. WHAT WOULD SHUNIJI DO?! Answer it in his own way probably....maybe, or melt her face off.
A small part of her felt compelled to answer, since it was just a question. Still a bit of a creepy question though. Her twin, Kaichou would probably ask something like this. "...My partner, Shuniji. I guess training with him made me tone up a bit. You have to be strong to keep up with him, and rant resistant. Because once you get him started, he won't shut the ******** up. I don't mind though, because I'm not a social bee anyway." Her answer was still a bit evasive. She made the conversation about her partner, rather than herself. It's always been like that. Seika didn't like talking about herself, Shuniji did. So it was just better for her like that.

I'm one Nightmare...
"You don't need to be embarassed around me lovey... it's just us girls here." Yuzuki gave a demonic grin under her mask, she took a seat near Seika and in the trees pretty well were she landed, she brought her one foot up on the branch and leaned back against the trunk of the tree. She listened to Seika and contuned to muse, she was so cute when she was all embarassed and flustered. She honestly did care what she did to make her backside the way it was, she was just hoping for a reaction and she got one that was worth her while. What could she say about this girl? She was just about at as much of a loss for her as the reverse was true. Granted, she was sure that she liked the girl, as socially clumbsy as she was she seemed to make up for it in her own way. If the Otokage found use for this girl, then she must be worth quiet a bit for her potental. Yuzuki was actually pretty tired, and the thought of sleep did sound heavenly, though she wasn't sure how reliable this girl was for watching over her after that last comment. She watched as Seika figetted slightly under the spotlight that Yuzuki cast on her and noted that there was another name that was brought up in their conversation. Shuniji, huh? She supposed that Shuniji was going to be the Sound equivolent of Kiko... she only hoped that Shuniji was going to be a little less obnoxious. She wasn't afraid to bite back if he stepped on her toes too much or he needed to be reminded that she was her own person... if he was like that. Who knew? Maybe he was going to be one of those exemplory leaders that was a becon to those like her, someone who was stern but at the same time rewarding... ...though just by judging Seika... she doubted it.
She would reserve her comments and and thoughts about him till after she met him. She wouldn't guess what he was like till she met him first hand. In the mean time, she had some tormenting to do with advances to her dear little traveling hostess. "Hmm... but I don't care about this Shuniji person just yet... I'll meet him later I'm sure. I'm a little more curous about, you lovey. We may have to work together sometime, so I'm a little curious to see what makes you tick and what set you apart from other shinobi... spare your lovely assets." Yuzuki shifted her head slightly to the side before letting it come back to her, her eyes closed for a breif moment before looking back at Seika. "You don't need to be shy... in fact, why don't we start with something simple, like what ninja type are you, what style of fighting do you prefer? Stuff like that." Yuzuki's eyes focused in on Seika as she brought her cloak a little tighter around her to ward off the moonlit chill that was starting to crawl into the area around them....you won't wake up from.

Seika's eye twitched feverishly as Yuzuki spoke. Unable to comprehend or figure out why she was being picked on, she raised a septic brow at the questions. Normally Seika wouldn't answer these sorts of questions because they were confidential or personal. Though Yuzuki had a point. She was joining the Sound Village. They'd inevitably would be thrown in a team at some point. Seika brought her knee's up to her chest and hugged them with her arms.
"I am a Genjutsuist. I can cast it via sound or touch. Though I don't use it often because I have other alternatives when it comes to taking somebody down. Oh, I don't think I mentioned it, but I'm also Shuniji ******** Fuku's bodyguard babysitter." She started, biting her right cheek in frustration. She never had to do a proper introduction before, so it was weird. Just as she finished talking, a lock of her hair seemed to morph into a small white snake. It slithered across her right knee and flicked it's black tongue at Yuzuki.
"The Otokage gave me the idea...so I stuck with it. I see it as a sort of theme. I abuse them like hell though." She giggled with a gentle smile and pat it's small head lightly with her finger. Just then, a small growl came from the branch above Seika's head. It was Ami, her cat who was spectating from where she sat.
Seika glanced up and scowled. Her cat was giving her that "Look", the one that let her know she wasn't supposed to be playing around with her jutsu. After a few moments it disappeared and the lock of hair fell back in place.
Her smile faded. There were other things Seika could do. Like her telepathy, and some other skills she had learned that were QUITE useful, especially the one she used on Ichite-ru. Hell, she didn't even mention what her clan specialized in. Or the fact that she puked out snakes when she got too nervous. Though she wasn't comfortable with sharing that sort of stuff. So she was keeping it a bit too simple. No doubt Yuzuki will probably find out in due time as they got to know each-other.
Seika was really a nice person, but that's not what she wanted to be. She had to be strong, loyal, and thorough with her job. That's what she was aiming for.
Even though Yuzuki's questions didn't receive full answers, Seika decided to quickly divert the conversation to her."How about you?" She asked, squeezing her knee's to her chest a bit tighter. Yeah...why did he chose her? Besides the obvious lust for power...

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki watched Seika's body language as it unfolded, she they way she tucked herself away by bringing her knees to her chest and cuddling them was a sign that she was guarded. Her answers were minial and to the point, perhaps a sign of shyness or a feeling of inferiority... Yuzuki could relate to that in some manner. She remembered what that was like until she stopped feeling sorry for herself and pulled her own face out of the mud. She was under the impression that Seika was a little bit socially isolated, this was all speculation though, she wouldn't claim it to be the gosple truth just yet. It gave her a first impression though. Yuzuki's features softened a little when Seika's smile faded and she withdrew into herself once more. Maybe it was because Yuzuki was new and she was still trying to get a feeling for her... or maybe this was just how the poor girl was, regardless... it was kinda cute too. She was finding that, if her assumptions were true, that she had a number of things in common with this girl, it would be far easier to relate to her than it would be with that happy-go-lucky farce that was in the Cloud village. What a waste of time and talent that place was.
"I'm a Genjutsuist as well, I like to think that my preferred style is a Shock or Terror tactics and hit and run. I've worked alone enough in the Cloud to get enough jutsu that I think that I can handly myself in most situations. My Genjutsu is made to envoke fear." Yuzuki lowered her mask to her chin and took a small bite out of her thumb, after performing a few quick hand signs there was a puff of smoke and a two foot long Scorpion appeared infront of her. In Yuzuki's mind... it was adorable. She wasn't sure if Seika was the type of person to get the heeby jeebies at the sight of bugs... though this was more of an arachanoid than a generic 'insect' but there are those who were ignorant of that. She let the scorpion crawl around on her and perched itself on her should. "I learned to summon scorpions a while ago.. though I wouldn't say that I made a theme concerning them... I certainly take advantage of the fact that I can summon them." Yuzuki said little else about what she could do, just like Seika she liked to keep things vague so that she could continue to surprise those around her. If the Chunin exams kept on, Kazin would have eaten his words when he accused her of only knowing mind games and summonings. It was kind of an ironic statement, seeing he, himself was a one trick pony. But she shoved him out of her mind, she wouldn't have to put up with him anymore. She looked over at the scorpion on her shoulder and reached up with her index finger, she started to scratch his cephalothorax behind its eyes and too the left, the smaller scorpion leaned into the sudden attention and almost made a purring sound.
"You said that you use Sound as a genjutsu? Do you use an instroment or do you perform it by singing?" Yuzuki asked curiously, the last time she heard a sound type genjutsu was when she was escorting the band from the cloud to the land of fire. It kind of pissed her off a little that Kazin was offered a genjutsu by the band and she wasn't. It was like saying that she wasn't worth teaching and after hearing that from her teachers almost all her life, she was more than aggitated that one of her favourite bands snubbed her off as well. She never really knew any genjutsuist who used touch to cast her genjutsu, but she supposed that the theory was sound enough, a sudden blast of chakra transpher from the touch would be enough to start the genjutsu itself. Simple and effective... though if Yuzuki ever got that close to someone to activate a touch genjutsu... she was likely going to have other problems. "By the way... if your a babysitter to this Shuniji person, then why are you coming here to pick me up from cloud... I mean aside from the obvious attraction and hidden desires you feel for me... don't worry I won't tell... and not with the person you have to babysit? Are you just trying to take the training wheels off or something?"...you won't wake up from.

Seika gave the scorpion a rather curious look as she inspected it from where she sat. It was kind of cute...Though they probably didn't look so cute when they were twenty times that size. "It's so unique..I love it. I bet it's a useful tool as well..." She said, almost tempted to prod it with her finger. Seika was now taking more of an interest in this girl. Though she paused for a moment when Yuzuki started to ask more questions.
"I can use either. I can sing to trigger it, or use my scythe or anything else I can make noise with. Such as snapping my fingers..I prefer to sing though." She wasn't going to openly say it, but she was a prodigy at Genjutsu. She was obsessive about it, which eventually lead to her insanity that was triggered without some sort of melody ringing in her head. It's why you never saw her taking her headphones off. It got so bad that she couldn't even sleep without waking up screaming or making some self inflicted wounds. The last time she slept was when she was seven. Without her headphones, Seika was a loose canon with serious issues. There was a reason why she preferred not to use Genjutsu too much...
"This was my first mission alone...though before this, I was always with Shuniji. He helped me find a more productive purpose, which was acting as his bodyguard. I still see it as my job of course. Even if he's far away...I can sense him." Seika chucked darkly and shook her head lightly. "He doesn't need my help though, he's a big boy. He can handle himself QUITE well. I just wanted to make things easier on him. He's got the weight of the world on his shoulders.." Her gaze seemed to lighten for a moment, there was a faint smile that beamed with pride in what she was talking about.
"When you have been standing next to someone like him, his image burns into your retina. So even when he is gone, he is all you see..." Seika trailed off with a sort of mesmerized look in her eyes before realizing that she was sharing a bit too much, she shifted uncomfortably and glanced away in an evasive manner. She began to change the subject once more.
"You should get some sleep. Tomorrow we'll make the long stretch to the Sound village. There won't be any stopping.." Like the sudden shivers you'd feel creeping down your spine, her tone had changed from gentle to cold in a heartbeat. Though it was very faint, but there was a look of hurt in her eyes. It was as if she had came to some sort of realization. Seika could probably get over it if she suppressed the thought enough. She was good at that..
Maybe she was really, as Shuniji would say "Human".

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki listened to the girl as she talked about her partner, poor creature, getting emotionally entangled with someone that she spent so much time with. She knew nothing of it first hand, but she heard many times that many shinobi who constantly work together grow bonds between them. Bonds like that were fine and all, she supposed, but friendship and love were things that clouded the judgement of those around you. As shinobi, your choices could lead you down the path of utter ruination if you let such things get to you. The girl looked like she knew that, and was starting to regret getting the bonds. Yuzuki said nothing of course, once more this was all spectulation and the girl could mearly be starstruck with the boy.... besides, it wasn't as though people listened to her wisdom about the matter anyway. Yuzuki would have to talk to this girl later on about maybe learning how to make a sound based genjutsu, and if it was even possible for someone who had no real background with the element of sound. Seika had a point though, perhaps it was time for bed, she may have a busy day tomorrow and there was always a chance of having to go out on a mission right off the bat. Maybe they would be meeting up with this Shuniji person after not too long.
"Alright then, wake me up when it's my turn to take watch, Seika-chan." Yuzuki shifted a little and snuggled into the trunk of the tree before wrapping her cloak tighter around her body, her right eye closed while her other remained open, she took a deep breath before visably relaxing, her green eye staring blankly out at the world ahead of her, Yuzuki scorpion hung around a little longer before it vanished into a cloud of smoke. Yuzuki was so use to travelling along that she got into the habit of sleeping with one eye open, it was kind of eerie actually, especially if you weren't use to it. Well, tommorow was going to be a first step on the road to her goals and ambitions. She was hopefully going to make the best of it....you won't wake up from.

Seika breathed a sigh of relief after Yuzuki went to sleep. Her eyes wandered over to her feline companion, who had her legs and arms tucked under her body. Her ears would flick back and forth, checking occasionally for any intruders.
There were no noises, no crickets chirping, not even the sound of birds rustling around in their nests. They were completely alone. Though with Seika, that sort of feeling was normal. She was alone and acepted this as some sort of good thing. Yeah, there was Shuniji and the Otokage, but there was a big difference between friendship and obligated duty.
She was a liar and a backstabber, just like Shuniji. Seika purposely left that part out in the introduction. She only shared the basics, like Shuniji's personality, but not that horrible curse he harbored from the Otokage. She protected Shuniji because he was important to the Otokage, she wanted to make sure he was happy. She was trying to protect his creation. Even so...there was still something there. Another reason. Something she couldn't hide, and it was painfully obvious. Seika was so selfish...
Her gaze landed on Yuzuki and watched as she slept with one eye open. Sort of creepy. She flinched and perched her chin in her palms. Seika couldn't say she hated this new girl. Though there were some things she disliked. Such as the creepy advances and the prying. She didn't like it when people tried to ask her things, figure out how she works. Though it's not like they even have to ask. It's just painfully obvious. Seika was curious about what the Otokage would do with her. Oh well....maybe she'll find out eventually. No doubt Shuniji would probably have a field day with this one.
------------
It was a long night for Seika, so much pondering, so much reflecting. It was like this every-night for her. She had too much time to think about things. The mind was a poisonous thing for her....
The sun hadn't come up yet, but the morning dew had finally settled in, making the air around her seem moist. Seika assumed it was probably around six in the morning. Her eyes wandered over to Yuzuki for a moment, she was trying to decide if she wanted to wake her up. They'd make good time if they started off now. Even though it was still dark, she could see rain clouds coming in from a distance. Seika quietly stood up and dusted the bark and dirt off her rump. She felt compelled to sing a small song while she gathered her weapon and stretched.
"Seize the day, or die regretting the time you lost. It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over~..
I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time But I'm too young to worry. These streets we traveled on will undergo our same lost past.
I found you here, now please just stay for a while I can move on with you around. I hand you my mortal life, but will it be forever~? I'll do anything for a smile, holding you 'til our time is done We both know the day will come, but I don't want to leave you..
I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time But I'm too young to worry. A melody, a memory, or just one picture..."
Seika finished her brief song with a soft voice, and let out a small sigh to catch her breath. She turned to Yuzuki and spoke just in case she wasn't up already. "Yuzuki, we're leaving now. We should be able to make it to the Sound village around the evening time." She seemed very certain that they'd make it today. She hoped that the Otokage wouldn't set her on fire for taking to long or anything. They needed a schedule or something...

I'm one Nightmare...
With the sudden moment of Seika doing her stretching and preforming her little song number, Yuzuki's other eye snapped open. She lifted her head and listened to the little melody that softly passed Seika's lips. Yuzuki wasn't what one would concider a morning person, it took her a little while for her brain to shake off the morning grogginess. She inhailed sharply and stood up when Seika informed her that they were going now, the threat of rain was in the air and she wasn't going to argue that she would like to get to the sound village. Yuzuki groaned a little and rubbed her eye that had been open almost all night, trying to envoke tears to moisten it once more. She closed her eye to allow it to rest a little, she looked over at Seika and nodded in acknowledgement to them leaving. It was time to get this show on the road once more and meet her new Kage. Yuzuki reopened her eye and blinked a few times before looking over at Seika to lead the way.
When they did get going, Yuzuki was a lot different from the teasing and chatting girl that had met up with Seika yesterday, she had fallen silent for the most part, paranoia had crept in and she was constantly looking over her shoulder, even her mood seemed to have shifted to something sharper and far more malevolent. She was starting to wonder if the Raikage had noticed her absence yet, there was no way that he was ignorant this long, and she was starting to suspect the worst case senario already. She didn't know if anyone saw her with Seika earlier, and she was sure that she was careful enough for nobody to spot her when she packed her stuff up, but then again... the bugger knew everything about everything and there was no way that he would shrug what she was doing off. Granted, he did know what the Otokage offered... so maybe he didn't care after all. All the quiet was giving her conflicted thoughts... either she was home free... or this silence and quiet was something ominous. Ugh... it'd be even worse if he had that Mutt-faced lap dog of his to come after her. With that nose of hers, she'd catch up in no time she was sure. Then again... it wasn't as though he cared much for her commitments before, so why start now?
With that thought, Yuzuki relaxed a little and became a little less paranoid aobut who or who wasn't following her. Between her and Seika, if things started going south they could be long gone while their oppenents fough genjutsu's or perhaps even their joint efforts could take out what was sent after them. Yuzuki turned her attention back to Seika as she was leading on to where they had to go. Now that she was offically a chunin, she was hoping to train in some more advanced jutsu, maybe she would have time after she got back, or during travels to whatever missions that she was sent on. She had no idea how the sound operated, if it was anything like the Cloud village it would be lax and realtively... lazy... but from what Seika had been hinting at earlier, this place she was going to had no room for failure, they were probably fairly disiplined and militaristic. Granted, from the rumours that she heard about the sound they were few in number but very compitent in what they did. Hopefully she could prove to the Otokage that she was just as worthy of that stereotype. She was getting anxious and a little excited, that didn't happen often, but when it did it usually meant that there was something good coming her way. No matter how hard she needed to work at it, she struggled to get this far, what was a little more struggle in the greater fight?...you won't wake up from.

Minutes turned into hours as they traveled without even pausing to catch their breath. Seika was mildly relieved that Yuzuki hadn't spoken a word since last night. She didn't like conversation much, especially with somebody she wasn't familiar with.
She wondered how her partner was doing, was he alright? He said he would be....and it's not like he ever needed her help. Though at times she still worried. He was the only guy she could get along with, he was also the only person that took her in and let her sleep at his house. That's not an issue now, but she'd still have to tell him about the new arrangements eventually...
The cold sting of the rain that landed on her nose interrupted her thoughts and forced her to glance up. The dark clouds covered the sun, making everything seem darker, it almost seemed like it was nighttime. Suddenly, the rain started pouring down on them really hard. Hell, it might as well have been haling. Luckily the trees shielded them from most of the rain, but it still wasn't enough.
Already soaked to the bone, Seika shrugged it off and descended to the ground, her feet made a gentle sploshing noise as her boots sank into the mud with each step. Trees were now replaced with a long dirt road, which was now muddy and wet. "We're here." She finally spoke in a monotone as she trudged through the mud irritably. She was still mad about being soaked. She was hoping she could outrun the weather, but that obviously didn't happen.
(After your post I'll post in the Land of Rice Fields. :3)

I'm one Nightmare...
As the rain beat down on them, Yuzuki frowned under her mask, she liked the rain... but to be honest she really didn't care to travel in it. Despite the fact that her cloak was water resistant, she was already getting soaked from the downpouring of rain. She supposed that this was going to be her new reality, she heard that the Land of Rice Feilds was a more humid area to live in. So she pictured that there were going to be a lot of rainy days like this. It was too bad... though once she got a place of her own she might get to like the idea of watching rain out her window. Yuzuki, having never been to the land of Rice Feilds before didn't know of its underground population. Not that it would have changed her mind at all. As Seika's boot squelched in the mud Yuzuki turned up her nose, great... and here she was with heels on... Yuzuki took a different approach; she new how to walk on water and walk on trees, so walking on mud and not sinking could theoretically be obtainable. If she walk on the mud like Seika, she was going to lose her shoes and that would result in a very unhappy Yuzuki... and nobody wanted that. It may have been a strain on the chakra, but it was unlikely that she would be sent out tonight at anytime. If she was, then she would figure out something else to save her heels from the muddy depths of the Land of Rice Feilds terran. As Yuzuki landed, her shoes were spared the gooey squeltching the befell the fate of Seikas. It took a little concentration, but this was good chakra control excersize as well. She walked along side Seika with a stern expression as she both concentrated on the chakra under her boots and the mental preperations that she was going to have to face when she was brought to the man who made the eight-tailed demon and two other jouninish ranked individuals disappear without so much as batting an eyelash....you won't wake up from.

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki woke not far from her old village, it was about a day or two's travel away from her spot... at least thats what she assumed after she gathered her senses once more. She remained seated for a while and in her mind come out of the hazy darkness that she stirred from. Her head pounded heavily, a mixture of being strangled and the sheer pressure that was pushed on her from the Otokage. After a few minutes, her head stopped being spinny and she stood up. She closed her eyes and groaned to herself, this was going to be a... big pain. She needed to learn a few things before she was going to try and execute this properly. She might as well return to the village and act like everything was as usual. Once she infiltrated she could do some scouting and then when the time was right she would decend, then get what she wanted and get out. She held no illusion that this would be easy, but if she did things quickly enough she could snatch all of them up at once. She would need, the shadow clone jutsu, combined transformation jutsu and... a binding genjutsu to make things easier... she should work on her silent kill technique, the stealth might actually come in handy. Yuzuki started on her way towards the Cloud village, using the tree branches to her advantage to hide, she knew where the Raikages manor was... everyone who was apart of the cloud village knew about it. Though she truely wondered if all the items she were going to be there at any given time. Perhaps a better option would be to wait till he got home and was asleep. If she put him under the Dead Silence jutsu and used her stealth then he would be none the wiser. It would likely give her some time to find the swords and the necklace that the old Raikage had. So... shadow clones, stealth, in and out quickly and quietly. She assumed that the Raikage was going to be ignorant of the meeting with herself and the Otokage... and possibly Seika, but maybe she shouldn't rely on that....you won't wake up from.

I'm one Nightmare...
As the day slowly turned into night, Yuzuki noted that she was still a distance from the village, she had a plan, she had a back up plan as well, however in order to actually perform those plans she needed two jutsu that she didn't have, and if she trained in the village then the element of surprise would be lost. And she wouldn't likely be able to afford such a set-back. When the night time finally fell, and the campfire was lit, she pulled herself away to try and figure out how to perform the first of two main jutsu that was going to be using in her misison. Yuzuki summoned her scorpion, the huge black creature was a husky female, she smiled down at the summoned creature and scratched in between her eyes, the creature almost purring in response. However, she wasn’t summoned to spoil her, she was here for some training. Yuzuki body flickered onto her back and she squatted down. ”I would like to learn a transformation technique with you, so do be patient with me, Lovey.” Yuzuki performed the hand signs for the combined transformation jutsu, she held the hand sign and reached into the scorpions chakra network so that she could play around and experiment with the transformation process. She was interested when she met up with the chakra network of her ally, it was a complicated, and slightly advanced, something that she had never seen or encountered before. At first, she was just trying to get a better feeling for what she was working with. Her mind traced along the chakra network. With in mind she followed the maze of blue spiritual energy, it was a surprise for her to see how complicated it was considering that she was summoning a predatory arthropod. She closed her eyes and concentrated, she tried to think of something that she was wanting to try transforming into right now. How about… something horrific? Sounded fun and something that she could picture it relatively easily. She tried to tap into the chakra network of her summons, she found that it was almost blocked away from her. This was going to be the hardest part, she decided, she was going to have to find away to actually tap into the chakra network of the scorpion. She closed her eyes and concentrated, trying to probe a little into the network of the scorpion to try and find some sort of inlet that she could tap into that she could claim some of that chakra with. She felt a slight bond between the summons and her, but it didn’t seem to actually produce any sort of advantage with this. Yuzuki reposition her feet slowly and tried to see if there were stronger points that she could use to will her way into that chakra pool. Perhaps there was a place where she could position her foot where the leaching of chakra would be easier. It was going to be a slow and tedious process but she would have to do this if she wanted to get what she wanted out of this jutsu. Slowly she shifted her feet, inch by inch until she found that sweet spot where she could tap into the fountain of chakra.
It took a while till she was able to find one of the spots where the chakra was thickest and heaviest, where it was close enough to the surface so that she could obtain and connect to the chakra pool of the scorpion under her feet. She tried to pull the needed chakra so that she could mould and shape the pair of them into something new and wondrous, however the flank of the scorpion bucked in discomfort, signalling that she was doing something wrong and it was painful for her summoned friend. She stopped, not getting the right amount of chakra anyway. She kept her foot where it was, though she inched her other foot around to try and find that other spot that she was after. Her eyes were still closed, though her jaw clenched a little in concentration while she was trying to find that one spot where she could tap into the chakra pool that she needed in order of this jutsu to work. With her one foot on the scorpions lower Mesosoma near the base of the tail, she tried to shift and found that she was getting stronger and steadier flows from the cephalothorax, eventually her foot found its way in between her summons eyes and slightly behind them. She smirked to herself, when she tapped into the flow she found that it was now a little awkward for her to manipulate; she kept her eyes closed and slowly started to shift her body so that there was a different stance to try and open up her own chakra flow so that it could merge a little more comfortably and naturally. She was starting to get somewhere now, she had a position and now was fine tuning the flow and manipulation of a foreign chakra into her body so that she could perform the required jutsu for herself. The more she arranged her own body and lined up the chakra points and mirrored the ones that belonged to her summoned ally, the more freely the chakra flowed through her. Finally she found the golden spot and everything felt right, she paused for a moment and let her body memorize and study in detail so this could be obtained far more quickly so she wasn’t taking time to actually trying to find the spot where all this was going to be possible. Yes, this felt right, and now she was going to practice pulling that chakra steadily into her so that she could form and maintain something new.
With that awkwardness out of the way, she began to try and manipulate and mould the chakra around the pair of them so that she could change and manipulate their appearances so that she could create something new and terrifying for the pair of them to become. She admitted, she wasn’t the greatest when it came down to transformations in the past, she didn’t have the proper chakra control back then, but this was a different time and her experience with how she controlled chakra was far more advanced from back them. She pictured the outcome in her mind. It was blurry at first, but the more she focused on it the more she was able to get a clearer picture. She began to stir the chakra and manipulate it around the pair of them, cloaking and bathing them in a blanket of chakra, she started to mould and shape the chakra into the image that she was after, she could picture the serpentine like creature made of bone and decaying flesh, two arms held it aloft and baleful fire in its eye sockets. When she opened her eyes she could sense a world around her, smaller than what she was use too, having grown a few sizes with the combined transformation jutsu, she tried to move around, the mental strain was what she remembered it and despite the success of having moved a little bit with moving a few feet forwards. She quickly lost the imaging, finding her mind too bombarded with stimuli for the time being to maintain this form. It wasn’t that it was too hard, but she found that she was thinking of too many things and that caused her to loose the image that she was trying to hold in her head. This was going to be the next thing that she was going to have some trouble doing. There was always something that got in her way of a quick and clean learn. Oh well. Yuzuki once again closed her eyes and tried to picture what she was going to try and become with her ally. She could picture the monstrosity that she was going to plague the world with, she tapped into the chakra pool of the giant scorpion and began to weave her falsehoods and lies into something physical. She took the chakra and weaved it into the skeletal creature yet again, the creature once again spawned into existence and she held the imagine in her mind. Now, she needed to be able to work with her partner in order to move this monstrosity of a form they had. How was she going to do that though? If she left the movement to her ally then she could concentrate more on holding the image. It was now a matter of dividing their responsibilities up between the two of them so that they could make this new body of their operate.
The scorpion that she summoned seemed to become aware of the thoughts in Yuzuki’s head, it was a strange way that they were communicating with each other. They didn’t say anything, as while the scorpion couldn’t speak to her, she was understood, but with such an awkward mouth, the scorpion more… pushed feelings on her, and those thoughts and feelings gave impressions and she got the point that the scorpion was trying to make. Together they started to awkward dance of making an oversized puppet work well and operate like it was suppose to. The pair created a half shambling, half snaking creature that hissed venomously. The duo was slowly and steadily starting to learn how things were going to be working. Yuzuki’s main goal was to keep the illusion alive while the ally did the moving and attacking. Yuzuki undid the jutsu and let the pair of them take a breather and recharge what they had used. The scorpion groomed itself for a few moments. After Yuzuki got her second wind she got back on again and began form scratch, she repositioned herself and after a few moments of shifting back to the spot where she could tap into the chakra pool of the scorpion. It took her a little too long for her liking so she hopped off and did it again, then again, then again, and again until she was able to find it almost instantly. There was a slight pause to find it, but it wouldn’t cause her to loose out on anything if she was in battle. Once that was done she began to pull and weave the chakra, massaging and kneading the spiritual essence so that she could get a good feel for it, she let the scorpion ally do the same with her, it was an usual bonding experience to say the least, but in the end it was something that the two of them would need in order to continue on with any further combo jutsu. Yuzuki performed the hand signs once more and began to mould and shape the chakra, this time creating a huge cat-like creature. She continued to perform and then undo the jutsu and experimented with various forms, what worked well and what didn’t with the pair of them. She took time out every now and then so that she and her summoned ally could maybe get back some chakra back before. She got back onto her summons after a few minutes and began ago, mastery was repetition and improvement and this jutsu was no exception. Eventually she got onto her summons and could find the spots and position with ease, hardly even needing to think about the foot placement and the body positioning was second nature and the scorpion that was with he was eagerly and easily offering up the flow of chakra that she needed in order to transform into whatever her twisted little soul wanted. From large animals to hell spawned horrors pulled from the depths of insanity itself. She practiced with her ally until it was easily second nature to her. She assumed that once she had done this and summoned different scorpions that they would be alright with this as she could now tap into the chakra pool of a scorpion and hardly have them notice.
As one final test run, she tapped into the scorpions chakra and pulled it around then, she weaved her illusionary darling around the pair of them. There was a puff of blackened smoke, red lightning seemed to lick around the pair as the jutsu was cast. Form the depths of the dark clouds and crimson lightning licked that cracked and danced around loosely, a pair of pinprick, baleful red glowing eyes pierced the gloom of the smoke. A huge, skeletal hand burst through and dissipated the smoke, the figure was ghoulish and nightmaric, the flesh was a rotted bruised colour with countless faces howling and withered with agony. Its back legs were hunched and it moved around with both arms and legs like a gorilla. A long, meaty tail whipped around and cracked heavily into earth. It opened its mouth and bellowed with rage that almost shook the foundation that she stood on. After some moving around and getting a feel for her latest creation, she released the jutsu and let her summons go back to where it came from. She was confident in her ability with the Combined transformation. With that out of the way, Yuzuki sat down infront of the fire and stared intently into the hypnotic flames. Her eyebrows burrowed into the bridge of her nose. She paused, legs crossed and her cloak covering her legs, and pondered things threw, no matter what angle she took, she had no idea how the Raikage would react, and how easy it would be to get any of the artifacts. If things worked perfectly she would be in and out quickly, and the Raikage would be none the wiser. However, things hardly ever went that smoothly. Planning was only as good as the first move, and then it fell to pieces by something unknown. She knew nothing about the Raikage or his fighting style. She assumed that he was a taijutsu type... close combat with either wind or lightning... probably both. He would look down on her abilities, having just been named a chunin, he would assume her to be weak and naive. She would use that, and she would take advantage of his need to sleep as well. All that was left was to try and accomplish her mission....you won't wake up from. ((Combined Transformation Jutsu: 2029/2000 - Learned))

I'm one Nightmare...
After a good long rest, Yuzuki was playing with more ideas about how she could make herself stronger, she kept thinking back to her summons and with great amusement playing with the technique that she just learned in her mind. What if she limited her amount of transformation with her summoned ally to create an actual fusion of herself and her scorpion. The form would be magnificent and advantageous to her if she could master it. She could take on the properties and likely some of the disadvantages of the scorpion for her own abilities. Yuzuki stood up once she was finished resting, her chakra now replenished she bit into her thumbs after crossing her arms over themselves and performing the hand signs required to bring her ally forth, and the call was answered by the same scorpion as the last time. She gave a little smirk and explained to the scorpion that this was going to be experimentation and… she wasn’t sure what she was doing this time so it might be unpleasant. The scorpion seemed to understand, and let Yuzuki do what it wanted, she would have to either give this scorpion a name or try and figure out what it was, especially if it was one that was going to be summoning this one in particular every time she was needing something. They did seem to have a bond of sorts. She climbed on top of the scorpion and closed her eyes, immediately tapping into the chakra pool and weaving chakra, she decided that in order to obtain what she wanted she would have to make stronger weaves, that she would have to twist the fabric of reality and illusion to get what she wanted. This had a potential to be brutal and savage, even among the standards of a lot of her jutsu that involved summoning. She pictured in her head what she wanted to shape and become. She closed her eyes and let the chakra that connected the pair become thicker and more… synced with each other, she started to weave the pair of them together via chakra threads and began to heavily concentrate the weaving of her chakra into something more a kin to armour than something like cloth. Yuzuki felt the scorpion underneath her buck uncomfortably, she didn’t blame it, her legs were starting to burn with a grim and gnawing discomfort as well. It felt strange, the more she tried to tap into chakra lay out of the outer carapace of the Scorpion, she tried to mimic and recreate the chakra texture of the natural armour. It was painful and tedious, but at the same time, she knew that if she could get thought this it would toughen her up.
The more Yuzuki manipulated the chakra from the two and offered her chakra in turn to circulate throughout the scorpions body. She could feel the fusion of the pair take course through the lower half of her body, she could feel a stiffness wrap around her body, her hair, which was normally silk, turned hard and bristly, it almost took on a scaled texture as it gathered in large strands. Her face shifted slightly, taking on a visage that was a mockery of mortal beauty. Shifting occurred on the side of her face along the same parallel as her eyes. Two more orbs appeared there, the more she wrapped the fabricated glamour around herself the more that she took on properties of the scorpion. It was painful, however, it was hard to stay focused, Yuzuki struggled to maintain the form that she was struggling to contain, the chakra that they were now sharing was starting to become strained and pressured with the sudden increase in the chakra networking. Yuzuki played and expanded that as well, she created two more scorpion tails and gave them some materialization to them. It was upon doing that that she discovered that she could relieve the pressure and discomfort of their bodies but distributing and adding on to their ’body’ was a way of making things feel more at home within their own carapace armour. Eventually though, Yuzuki had to stop what she was doing and separate the two of them, once the pair was back to normal, and she all but collapsed on her ally as she let the ache in her legs die out before she did it again. Yuzuki took some time to think about why this was so slow and not working like it should have… or at least theorized. There was a missing link here somewhere but she wasn’t sure what it was that she wasn’t getting. The only problem that she wasn’t sure what she as doing wrong. Maybe this was deeper than just wrapping a bunch of chakra around a person’s body and shaping it into something that was similar to what she wanted to project. Yuzuki got back on her scorpion again and made a slight adjustment to the hand signs that she was working on previously, she changed her stance slightly. She closed her eyes and concentrated on the properties of the scorpion that she was trying to mimic in order to complete this jutsu. She once more tapped into some of the chakra points of the Scorpion that she was riding and allowed their chakra to become more in sync and connect with their chakra. She concentrated and held the picture of what she wanted the outcome of the jutsu to produce. While tapping into the chakra pool of her summoned ally again, she began to weave and fuse the pair of them together, limiting how much was changed at a time was far less painful, but at the same time it was a little slower. Yuzuki stopped what she was doing and let the binding melt away. She readjusted and tried something slightly different with her weaving and shifting so that she could perform the transformation more quickly. She practiced the weaving and focused on her knowledge of what she knew of scorpions; once more she recited in her head that they were nocturnal creatures, and that they were photo-sensitive, meaning that she was likely going to be blind fighting if they were not in dark of night or a place that held no direct and bright lights… it almost made her feel like a gremlin. Whatever it made her feel like or not feel like, she knew that scorpions had poor eyesight and they sense their way around using sensory hairs and slit organs on the legs, they possess pedipalps and a body that pick up vibrations and scents. They also have special organs on the underside of the body called pectines, which pick up ground textures and scents , scorpions also breath through four pairs of book lungs from the underside of their belly. So if the transformation going to be done, she didn’t need both her lungs and the Book lungs as well, it was probably best to rely on the book lungs of the scorpion. With that know, it made things a little easier for her to put things into prospect of what went wrong before. Instead of simply fusing the pair of them together, she should concider the functions of the scorpions body along with her own before she slapped them together. Simply fusing the pair was going to be awkward, pointless and needlessly painful.
Yuzuki took this thought process to mind as she tried again, she got back on her scorpion who was looking less than excited, it wasn’t so much that it was irritated with her experimentation as it was that she just wanted to go home and likely go hunting for something to eat. Yuzuki tried to make this as quick as she could and refocused on what she was doing. She kept in mind that there were things that she couldn’t use two of that had the same purpose. So she favoured the scorpions method and body structure in some ways. It was a little bit of a pain, but having so many sensory organs and eyes were going to be confusing and frustrating. She thought it better to just go with the well developed sensory organs that picked up chemicals and vibrations. She would trust in her other half’s intuition on the matter of battle. She would of course practice in this combined state so that she got a better feel and didn’t have to rely on her pet’s influence as much as she would normally have to. She concentrated for a few more minutes and then carefully made her hands signs, the chakra felt a little better this time around. As did the connection that she had with her pet monster. Hopefully the scorpion wasn’t going to just disappear on her because she was board. With the Zen-like concentration returned to her and the chakra feeling right about where it should be Yuzuki tried once more to try and put the pair of them together again and this time she was determined to make things quick and relatively painless for the pair of them. Her eyes snapped open and there was a huge plume of smoke enveloped the area. The changes spread over her quickly like a disease consumes the impoverished . Her lower half became one with the scorpion, two additional tails sprouted after dividing from their original host’s body and raised defensively and a purple, thick liquid formed a small drip at the tip of its tail. A hardened carapace armour wrapped around Yuzuki’s human torso, coming around and wrapping around her bust protectively, pretty well where body was exposed through her original clothes was where a glimpse of her humanity remained, the carapace crawled up and wrapped around her neck and around her jaw-line. Her hair gathered in clumps, creating scaled tentacles of hardened hair that flowed down to the base where her lower body was fused with her upper body. Two orbs surfaced at her temporal region, the flesh that covered it divided halfway to create an opening for her new eyes. Her lips looked as though they had melted back to reveal the tips of pointed teeth, where her clawed weapons should have been there was elongated, razor sharp fingers that gave off an eerie look to the already twisted image of what Yuzuki and her summons took up. The human flesh of her body was a starch contrast to the black carapace armour that had encased her body with the few exceptions. Yuzuki lowered her head and opened her jet black, glossy eyes. Now with her new body, she started to practice moving around, learning and the feelings and smells with her chemoreceptor’s and sensory hairs. It was different to be sure, being almost totally blind and using smell and feel for your actions and movements. With time and dedication she was starting to get the hang of walking on eight legs. She still relied on the instincts of her summoned ally with the smells and vibrations, but she would learn that in time. She had a functioning body and the ability no only to fuse quickly but be able to attack and go on the defensive with relative ease. When Yuzuki’s body felt the strain of her fusion she concentrated on undoing the jutsu, placing her hands together she focused and started to unbind the pair of them. She felt the connecting chakra ‘seam’ and unravelled it quickly, there was another puff of smoke and their bodies returned to their own separate persons. Yuzuki opened her eyes and slowly lowered her hands, she stepped off her mount and looked back at the exhausted looking scorpion. She gave a nod and the scorpion reversed summoned itself back to where it came from. Yuzuki felt a sense of accomplishment as she closed her eyes and let gravity give her a seat, tired but triumphant she closed her eyes for a few moments. She was in need of a rest too, it was well deserved as far as she was concerned....you won't wake up from. ((Nightmaric Fusion Jutsu: 2000/2000 - Learned))

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki closed her eyes and concentrated on the various parts of the brain and spinal nerves that she was going to have to use in order to get this genjutsu. She had an idea from one of the scrolls that she read, the Binding tree was a nice genjutsu, but at the same time, it didn’t wet her appetite for pain enough for her to be rather amused. So she brainstormed a way to cause paralysis and pain in the body, pain that she could control at will. First she would need to concentration on the aspect of paralysis; a fairly simple matter that could be done in a number of ways. By creating a chakra noose around the spinal cord could probably do the trick, however the problem with that was that she could potentially kill the host if she squeezed to hard on the noose, and then if they were needed she could deliver, then there was the fact that the body would naturally struggle against the chakra imbalance and make her job of maintaining it a lot more of a strain for her. The best way she could think of was to influence the cerebellum, the section of the brain that coordinates the voluntary movements and balance of the body. But suppressing or even cutting off the electrical impulses to the voluntary movements of the body, creating a state of paralysis. Yuzuki‘s eyes scanned her environment for something to experiment on, she frown slightly… she continued to let her eyes scan the dimly lit area until she saw a huge, fat raccoon in the tree, gnawing on the remains of what appeared to be a pile of someone‘s garbage. She reached into the mind of the bloated ball of flesh and fur, she reached into the chakra network and started to manipulate and press her chakra into the mind of the ringed tailed nuisance. She forced her chakra into the Cerebellum of the brain and froze the electrical impulses in place, attempting to stop the creature from running away, she didn‘t apply it very heavily at first, she didn‘t want to risk too much damage to that part of the brain too much and it would either permanently paralyse her prey, including the ability to speak in humans, and render the captured unusable. Instead she used little bits at a time to get a feel for things, the raccoon looked up for a moment before turning and looking like it was going to waddle away, Yuzuki applied more pressure on the cerebellum and the critter started to slow down, its movements becoming a struggle to just move. She applied more and more of her chakra into the brain until the creature literally froze into place. She played around a little more with the chemical and chakra balances in the brain until she had a good grasp on how the shifts would effect the brain and what amount would be right to the comparative sizes that she would likely be using. She eased up and then tightened the presence within the brain once more, she finally clamped the chakra imbalance down on the creature so that it couldn‘t move. She was satisfied with what she had done with this jutsu so far, however… there was still something missing from it, something that was going to make this one of her favourite playthings in her arsenal, the pain that was suppose to accompany it.
Next, she was going to play with the aspect that made her pallet wet, the pain, she was going to play around with the Thalamus, exciting the pain receptors of the body. This was going to be the trickiest aspect of the genjutsu, normally pain broke such effects. The crafty part of this was making the victim experience the pain and still have the genjutsu in effect. She pushed chakra into the raccoons mind, tapping into its pathetic little brain. While the creature was being held she pushed her influence upon it and began to press on the Thalamus of the brain. Almost immediately the Raccoon broke free after feeling the pain and went to escape, Yuzuki quickly reasserted control over the vermin. The creature froze once more and she pushed her chakra into the thalamus once more, she manipulated and tweaked at the chakra flow, pushing and prodding into the mind to try and find out how she could keep a binding and still inflict pain. She toiled and picked her own brain trying to figure out how to perform this and get what she wanted out of it. The first part was simple, the second part was simple… it was using them together that made it mind numbingly complicated. She pushed her genjutsu into the mind of the creature once more, she provoked pain, but this time, she wasn‘t invoking pain all over the body, she wrapped the threads of chakra around the nerves in a spiral formation. This way, the entirety of body wasn‘t overwhelmed with the sensation and yet still bring enough pain to dull the mind and torment the senses. She should be able to constrict these bindings and add some ‘barbs‘ onto the threads of chakra that restricted the chakra network and invoked the pain. She could restrict and ease up on these bindings so that the pain lessened or intensified as she pleased… or at least till the jutsu was broken. Yes, targeting the chakra network instead of the actual thalamus nerves was a much better solution to her problem. That way the pain felt real, but it was only a mimicking of actual agony. By targeting the thalamus and the nerves there directly, she ran the risk of breaking her own jutsu because the pain was actual, and the body would experience it, thus, the jutsu would be rejected after the stimulation. The raccoon she had didn’t have an overly developed chakra network, so her continued experimentation would be limited. She would get the idea though, and a better feeling than if she just theorized it. Yuzuki closed her eyes and concentrated on the raccoon once more.
She released the raccoon for a moment, it looked up at her and snarled, only to earn a glare and some hand signs from Yuzuki. She reached into the mind of the raccoon and placed a clamp on the Cerebellum of the brain, the movements of the vermin halted she began the second part of the jutsu, she wrapped her chakra threads around the networks of the thalamus of the raccoon. The wicked barbed chakra twisted and wove around the selected part of the brain like a thorny vine. Yuzuki closed her eyes for a moment, what sort of pain should she invoke? What should she call this Jutsu? She wanted it to be hellish, so to name it after a place of mythological suffering seemed appropriate. She would make the touch of her chakra hotter than hellfire and colder than the void. Yes, that seemed appropriate all thing considering. Yuzuki tapped into the stimulation of her chakra, creating something of a frequency that would mimic the molecular movement that resulted in the stimuli of hot and cold. Once the body felt that, it would immediately make the connection with the temperatures, the mind would do the rest for her. The raccoon screamed in agony as her left eye narrowed in amusement, she played around for a while, experimenting with the various sensations that she could do in order to make things horribly painful for those caught in this particular jutsu, she made it feel like a barbed chain, white hot, she also focused her on the medial points of the wrists for not only the binding but the sensation as well. She focused it on one main point. The feeling would be like having iron spikes driven through the wrists. The point around the wound would feel like it was burning, healing over, then having a third degree burn all over again. She watched as the raccoon reacted the way that she was predicting, though without any sort of human target she couldn’t get proper confirmation. However, the responses from this vermin was a good enough for her to know that she got what she needed out of it, and that the rest was just her twisted mind coming up with minor tweaking to make this jutsu that much more nasty and painful. With her amusement over with, and her jutsu having been learned, she walked over to the raccoon and raised her hand, her blades flashed dangerously. Making a clenching motion with her hand she silently commanded the chakra threads to tighten, the creature howled in greater agony, Yuzuki relaxed her hand and the beast relaxed again, only to start squealing again when Yuzuki clenched her fingers again. With the handle on this aspect of the jutsu she had no further use for this creature. Walking over she placed a bomb tag on its back before walking away slightly and letting it go. After a number of minutes she raised her hand with her hand sign poised, and an explosion echoed in the distance. She looked up at the rising sun and decided she had rested enough, she still had at least a day’s travel in order to make it back to the village. She had one more night to get the last of her jutsu that she needed to complete the set-up to her plan....you won't wake up from. ((Bindings of Tartarus - 1500/1500 [specialization] learned))

Kazu Hiroshi Kazu was glad to be away from the sea; not that he hadn't liked the old man but because he missed home. He walked through the forest and noticed it seemed denser to him than last time he had been through it. With a sigh, Kazu realized that he had to see the Kazekage first and foremost as soon as he got into the village. This would be his first meeting with the new Kazekage and Kazu knew he didn't like him already. He practically forced his way into the position, at least to Kazu. He knew he had gotten position through a different route than others would have, but he still didn't like the man.
