---------- [Nαlσ] ---------- "Window, please..." Nalo begged with a whisper. "Please, just let him leave. He's helped us but...I have a really bad feeling about him, and I'll explain later.Nalo tugged at the back of Window's tunic. They were mere feet from Merlin's house and his new friend wanted to chat with every judge and executioner this side of Traverse town...Nalo didn't understand what Window's fascination was with learning where they were. If they aren't going to stay here much longer, than what's the point? Nalo caught himself mid-thought and chastised himself. He turned his attention to Artemis, who had practically risen from the dead. "Feeling better? The ninja ran away, Vain left us a quick way to Merlin, and Xetunos gave us essentially a cure orb."

{Death, by any other name... is still death~}
[ Traverse Town : Third District ] The enigma laughed- sincerely, heartily laughed. It was a cold, hollow laugh, the same pitch as his voice (that is, high) and exponentially more off-putting. Apparently, something they'd done or said had highly amused him. However, after a few moments of composing himself, he took a breath and sighed lightly; it was hard to see how one could really laugh with all of that wrapping covering his mouth.
"Go talk to the old wizard- he'll tell you one side of the story," 'Xetunos' told him, turning once again to walk away. However, he remained in his spot for now. "But there's always more. The old man may seem wise beyond his years, but he is blinded."
At that point, Xetunos began to walk away, chuckling all the while under his breath. "Just remember. Keep an open mind and an open heart."

[Fal'navi :: Second District Rooftops]
A water dragon slamming him into a magical barrier and then being frozen to a rooftop with ice magic. This was not how this battle was supposed to go. But, the fates had other plans, and in the end, it was just another test by the Onyx Dragon to test his dedication to his cause. And he will not submit to this...minor setback.
With a few quick movements, he shattered the ice. All it took was a small amount of fire magic and the power behind his spear to break free of that little monster's ice spell. The Wrathful Dragon let out a roar, his ethereal wings sprouting from his back once again. He flew quickly, aiming to grab Suzuran and fly her high into the air.

[∫ ʋ ʓ ʋ ʁ ᾲ ɳ] {You look like you fell down a tree and hit every possible branch on the way down.}
[Traverse Town :: Second District :: Rooftops] Violet hues flickered to over to the newcomer upon Moggie's words, his hair seemed almost the hue of a newly born night sky. She drew her gaze back just in time to see the mage break free of the ice as easily as the forest wolves broke from tangles of fern. Her eyes widened in surprise to see Fal'Navi move so quickly despite their attacks hitting him straight on. He didn't seem the least bit fazed. Suzu felt a harsh tug on the front of her kimono that jerked her forward before her feet seemed to leave the ground together, the force of the grab caused her to drop her scythe which then clattered uselessly to the rooftops. She was used to having no solid footing but the geomancer found it rather uncomfortable to be dragged forward. No matter how soft the silks were, it still bit into the back her neck painfully; making her feet long for the solid footing.
Suzu was going to summon the water to aid her before stopping herself short. She was going to need magic to get safely down, especially if the dragoon planned on dropping her which seemed highly likely. She gripped the arm that held her and with her other hand she reached for her knives. Suzu managed to grab hold of one and attempted to plant into his flesh where there was a break in the armor.

[Moggie : Traverse Town : Second District rooftops]
Moggie's eyes drifted back to the armored guy that was attacking the blond guy. He brushed off the ice as if it was nothing. Now that was just annoying. The moogle started to ready herself for her next spell, which she was going to make bigger than the last. Hopefully get this guy to go away... Moggie's spell was interupted when Fal'navi flew in their direction. The force of his flight knocking the moogle backwards, stopping just short of hitting Sory.
Moggie shook her head to try and clear it from the rolling flight before she looked up to see what was going on. "Oh no!" the moogle yelled out seeing that the girl she had brought here with her was now in grave danger....

~Window~ [Traverse Town::Third District] The man's laugh startled Window, snapping him out of his moment of self-pity. He mentally shook himself, thinking, If I have too many more moments like that, my heart will become as black at the Heartless'. It was hard to deny the pull of the stranger, especially with words that struck a chord of wisdom, but Window knew he needed to let go of this brief and chance encounter. He had to press on and finish the job of getting to Merlin, though why they were headed there he had all but forgotten. It was only then that Window felt Nalo's worried tug, and he remembered that there were two others waiting on him. Window straightened up, squared his jaw, and faced the black man with eyes that held a rekindled fire. "I see. Many thanks, then...Xetunos." He pivoted around and faced Nalo and Artemis, foregoing the usual physical gesture accompanied by the sentiment of gratitude. No one here really knew what it meant anyway. That, and a small part of Window was irked that this man caused him to lose composure and the iron grip he had on his outward emotions. "Come. Let us depart."I will have to remember this man, this...Xetunos.

: - {άℓєχάηdѓά} - : |My allegiance lies with no one, but I am no bounty hunter.| : - {Traverse Town : Second District Cafe -> Rooftops} - :
The ex Dragon Knight had closed her eyes when the Moogle and Suzu walked off. She was listening, an old trick from when she was a little girl. She would close her eyes and listen, blocking out all other sounds, trying to pin point where her mother was in the forest. She froze, ears wide open and listened.
The roar shocked her ears and she looked up behind her. The rooftops... Her eyes traveled over what she could use to vault herself up there. With a sprint she jumped off a facing wall and latched on to a lamp post near the cafe. She swung and flung herself at a nearby balcony. Alex hoisted herself up over the railing, then jumped up from window ledge to roof as she made her way up.
Once she was up there, it didn't long to find the dragon and Soryuju, already with the Moogle and Suzu. She paused, watching the dragon -if you could actually call it a dragon- fly at Suzu and the girl try to attack him. Alex pulled the already pulsing blade out of the holders on her back and charge forward. If she could get a hit from behind, the thing would expect that.
With a grunt, she ran across the rooftops and leapt, aiming to plunge her sword in the dragon's back, close to one of his wings.
| I simply hunt Heartless, nothing more. If you need that, then I am your girl.|

Kuropo Guroko
{Judge me not by my size; For I am much more than meets the eyes.}
{Traverse Town : Second District}
Kuropo had followed silently behind Suzuran and Moggie as they went off on their search for the Swallow wielder and unless they had paid close attention the only indication that the Tarutaru was there was the soft quiet footsteps and the tap of the staff as he walked. He picked up his pace when they did to keep up as the Dragon's Roar erupted from the rooftops, alerting them to where he was. He tensed as the spear crashed into the ground from no where and the Tarutaru looked up curiously. Suzu and Moggie wasted no time getting themselves up on the rooftops, but the copycat had another idea.
"To make up for my past mistake; In this action I will partake!"
He focused, his eyes closing, as a strange red orb appeared in his hands. The center of the orb looked like almost like strange text, laced together into a chain and raveling around each other like a ball, red light surrounding it.(like this) He and the strange orb then vanished without a trace. On the rooftops in random places, three staves appeared, identical to Kuropo's.
Kuropo 1: Staff
Out of no where, Kuropo appeared standing on the roof and twirled his staff in his hands before chanting to himself and unleashing a bolt of lightning from the sky at the evil dragoon.
Kuropo 2: Rifle
On the other side of the rooftops, another Kuropo appeared, a rifle in his hands as he brought gun to the ready position, aiming along the sight down the barrel and unleashing a shot at Fal'navi.
Kuropo 3: Great Katana
Behind Fal'navi one last Kuropo appeared, a great katana in his hands held at an angle across his chest. Hopefully without the dragoon being aware of it, he raised the blade and tried to slash at the dragoon's back.((a lot in one post I know but let's have some fun XD))

[Fal'navi :: Second District Rooftop]
Fal'navi was in a crappy position. First, this girl was stabbing him. More people were attacking. This was not expected, but the Wrathful Dragon loved the thrill of battle, and he could give them something to worry about. The beginning of his nightmarish seige would begin with Suzuran. He simply arched his arm and threw the girl full force towards the roof below.
Next, came the annoyances. A lightning spell hit him. It wasn't that painful, but it made him drift slightly. A bullet to his shoulder made him nearly drop his weapon. When the moogle and the woman attempted to surprise attack him with their blades, he was already frustrated with all the attacks. In his rage, he let out a huge breath of black fire, coating the two in the blackened flames. From there, he continued spreading the fire along the rooftops and ground below him.
"I bid you farewell...I am disappointed you had to have your friends save you, Soryuju Ryutetsin. Most disappointed." Fal'navi sighed, shaking his head. He opened a portal of darkness, and moved inside without a glance back.

---------- [Nα⌠Θ ---------- Nalo took Window's hand in his right hand, and Artemis's in his left, and smiled at both of them. "Well...it's been fun, but..." He tried not to show fear. This ebbing rift looked like it would sooner tear him, and his friends, to pieces than take them to Merlin. "So c'mon. Let's go find you a way home, Window." He turned and nodded to the dark-haired man. "And Artemis...You were quite the help. Thank you. On three? ONE.......... TWO.......... THREE!"

{{Lame post is lame >.<}} Solaris Sorry......I'll be taking my leave now.
{Traverse Town : Third District: Merlin's House}
Looking over at Youni in slight surprise, a question formed on his lips before he could stop it. "How did you know the exact time?" He asked curiously, wondering if it was a trait that everybody on this world had. Or maybe it was just something that Youni could do. Well, whatever the case, it was certainly intriguing. A very useful sense of time.
"It would certainly be interesting to meet King Mickey. From what you say he seems to be a very kind person." Solaris said to Merlin, pondering if he would indeed be able to meet King Mickey one day. Maybe even see that Cornerstone of Light. He definitely wanted a chance to study it, try to figure out how it worked, what made it work, if it relied on the strength of ones heart or not.
"Merlin, the Cornerstone of Light. Where was it found? Was it always in the world of Disney? Or could there be others? I would imagine that if there were other Cornerstones, then more of the worlds could be protected from the Heartless."

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : Second District Rooftops]
Soryuju stared wide-eyed as a newcomer interrupted the coming assault with some strange, invisible barrier. Before he could even mutter thanks, Suzuran had appeared with her own massive attack. Grabbing the potion she tossed his way, he watched in awe as the Moogle from before froze the attack, adding her own black magic. He drank the potion as fast as he could as the attack connected, tossing the bottle aside as Fal'Navi charged toward Suzuran.
He couldn't get up and help, however- the potion was still taking effect, taking its sweet, annoying time. Before the Wrathful Dragon could rise too high, Alexandra leapt from below and attempted to plunge her blade into his back; meanwhile, Kuropo seemed to appear from nowhere... three of him, each assaulting the rising Dragon.
Finally getting to his feet in time to catch Suzuran (dropping his spear in the process), he looked upward to his opponent, who spoke condescendingly. He growled under his breath, eyes narrowed at the portal.
"Thank you. All of you," he said, though his voice seemed disconnected, disheartened; setting Suzuran down, he knelt over to grab his spear, his face as apathetic as his tone. "I apologize that you had to do that."

 [Third District : Merlin's House]"It was found on that world, and as far as history has recorded, it has always been there," Merlin explained, standing up and beginning to put everything away. "As for there being others, I've never seen another in my trav-"
Immediately, he tensed, his eyes narrowed toward the wall that Aerith recognized to be the direction of the entrance. However, Merlin's tight grip on his wand signified that the person coming in was not normal... or, rather, they were doing so suspiciously.
"Aerith, keep them in here. I'll be right back," he said reassuringly before vanishing in a puff of blue smoke.
---
He reappeared just outside his hut, facing the doorway. However, on his own island, there was a rift in space- one that was created by some outside force, completely bypassing his normal preventative measures. He'd put up barriers around this place to make it a safe zone from the Heartless and other nasties, but if someone could get past this...
Just then, a trio of strange people jumped through, and the portal closed behind them. One appeared to be a rabbit-humanoid male who seemed oddly familiar (Merlin was generally bad with people he met, he knew so many); the other two were average humans, though one seemed to give off a most odd magical resonance.
"Who are you?" he questioned, realizing immediately they weren't hostile and releasing his tension. "And how did you get in here?"

[N α l σ]
Nalo stumbled out of the portal, still connected to his friends via hands. Nalo hit the ground and tripped into something akin to a bow. He peered up from Merlin's blue shoes to the top of his platinum beard. Almost instantly, he was barraged with questions from the old wizard, so his mind took a second to gather itself, probe the ground beneath it, and give a sigh of relief, knowing that Vain's portal didn't annihilate them in the process.
Merlin looked like a pleasant enough person, so Nalo answered right away, piping up before Merlin finished his sentence. "HELLO! I'm Nalo! This is Window" He said, gesturing to his slightly bloodied friend. "This here is Artemis!" He motioned to the red-head. "We came in through Vain's portal, looking for a man named Merlin. Would you happen to be him?" Nalo stared at Merlin's spectacled face, inquisitively.

~Window~ [Traverse Town::Third District--->Merlin's House] Going through the portal opened by the youth was strange. Very strange...but almost familiar. He had felt it before, but the feeling was like trying to remember how something felt in a dream--not quite real. But Window's thoughts were abruptly stopped by three simultaneous things: First, his mind suddenly reeled as they exited the portal, arriving at a little run-down abode in the middle of an underground. At this point, he had trusted the portal, partly because of the boy's help in the battle, and partly because they needed medical help and he did not know or understand the extent of the green orb's power, unsure of its effect. But, most of all, they needed to get out of that alleyway, which seemed to be cursed to plague them with enemies and strangers. Secondly, upon landing Window had absentmindedly grasped the green orb with his bare hand, which he had previously taken from Nalo while using his sleeve as a buffer, still a little wary of Xetunos' gift. In a flash, his brain boggled, full of information about...magic. Goodness...gracious!!! was all he managed to think through the onslaught of knowledge. He felt so incredibly...powerful, almost like a deity. It was as if...reality bent to his will. It was incredibly disconcerting. Window immediately released the orb. No...how could that be possible? It can't. It just can't. As a man who had never encountered such a thing as magic before, the sensation and proof of it did not mesh well with Window's idea of the nature of the world. How could it exist? How could something come into being just by will? Unbeknownst to Window, the greatest irony of it all was-- "Who are you? And how did you get in here?" a voice said. This third event startled Window, forcing him to snap up his head and take a step back. The only problem was...there was no step, for Window was standing at the edge of the island. Releasing Nalo's grip, his arms pinwheeled as he tried to keep his balance, but it was no use; there was a sickening moment of equilibrium...followed by a downward trajectory. Window's last thought before falling was only one: I can't believe I'm about to get my brand new clothes soaking wet.
