Haha I kinda feel bad for you for having to do that. At least this year you're the one graduating.

Indeed : D And thank goodness our caps and gowns aren't bright red.
And I just learned that our graduation date is basically set in stone as long as it doesn't rain out. Which means we don't have to make up snow days : DDD

Ours are red and they don't look half bad.
Seniors in your school get out earlier than everyone else too right?

That's good then, I was just thinking of my uncle, who's Canadian, who's a college professor, and whenever he had to attend graduations, he had to wear the same graduation robe he wore in college, which was bright red. And he's like deathly pale and he was always the only one sporting bright robes there. xD He laments about it every time.
Yup :3 And we don't have to make up snow days.

Why does he need to wear the robes (especially if it's at a college)? Is it some strange Canadian rule?
Have you even had any snow days this year that need to be made up?

Probably some strange Canadian rule. You never know with them. Too much ice hockey.
I've had all of zero snow days stare Massively discouraged since the window of opportunity is diminishing as January is ending.

Hockey actually isn't too bad, quite dangerous though. I'm guessing hockey isn't that big in Illinois.
You never know, February and March could still be pretty vicious.

I guess I'm just not impressed by the brawling that's actually procedural in the NHL.
Yeah, I think there was some sort of huge blizzard that hit near the end of January? /crosses fingers.

I don't think they fight that much, but then again I don't really watch major league game.

Maybe, but I mean, what other sport, whose main objective is not to fight, doesn't penalize players for the first sign of fighting?

Um...Racquetball? That one doesn't have refs but I see what you're getting at. I don't think it's procedural though.

But the that fact that there's even a role for "deterring and responding to dirty or violent play"...
Anyway. I get what you're saying.
Any plans for Spring Break?

Where are you getting the "deterring and responding to dirty or violent play" from?
Not really, relax and keep up with homework. Although my birthday is at the start of spring break this year so I might do something special. You?

Wikipedia rofl Most reliable source in the world, of course.
o: That's cool. I'll probably just be twiddling my thumbs until college decisions come in burning_eyes But we might go for somewhere sunny.

Sounds nice.
So I got a letter in the mail from the National Society of High School Scholars, do you know anything about it?
