Not much to go on, though the moniker 'battleship' suggests its at least the size of a star frigate, and up to the size of a star cruiser. Which is a huge difference

Dreadnaughts are typically labeled as 19km
Though some ships have this label, and yet are a scant 600m
Depending on the size, that's a huge difference. That's the firepower of about 7 CR90s into about 210 CR90s.

I mean the misuse of the classifications "Cruiser" and "Destroyer".

Corvette < Frigate < Destroyer < Cruiser < Battlecruiser < Dreadnaught/Battleship
That's the basic scale system to go by, used by the Imperial Service... But some nations have different ideas of scale. A planetary government might consider a 600 meter hull a battleship, but to the empire its a mere frigate.

Imperial-Class Star Destroyers are labeled as "Destroyers", which really irks me considering that they aren't exactly the most maneuverable ship in the galaxy. And yes, I am aware of the face that most capital ships fly like bricks in Star Wars.

As with a lot of things... the only people to have images of a Corellian Destroyer is the Warlords Mod. 1.2 km long warship, classic thin hull, lots of weapons, tri-engine configuration. Even looks like what you'd think of when I said destroyer. Corellian Destroyer in Republic Colors

When I think "destroyer" I think "small and fast". At least when it comes to ships.

Destroyer... the smallest ship to fight in a fleet alongside the battle line. Well Star Destroyers are the smallest size ships we see the Empire deploying in a battle line, so it fits with that definition. Corvettes are always smaller boats, usually around 30-40 footers. Frigates tend to be less than 100 feet long. Whereas a destroyer is usually over that. In most modern navies its the destroyer that is the largest conventional warship, America still has a Cruiser class, but not any battleship hulls.
EDIT: You gonna post in the Resolve RP Rodyn? I'm kind of waiting on your Kolto mission before advancing to the next chapter.

Vossa is strictly adamant against the Republic Knights, seeing them as a hyper-militant zealot group that cares for little besides power. You can be assigned to one, but honestly, I'm stopping by tython as well on my way out to enlist the aid of the jedi... so eh.
