Aislin clung to him, she let a few tear drops flow down her face, "Kir couldn't make anyfriends because he was different... Because he wasn't like the other children..." She told him, that man was like her, if her life had been a hundred times worse. "I never made friends because my father thought it was too dangerous..."
Gab curled his tail around Barick's neck, he added his purring comfort to Barick's.

(I blame boredom and I don't like being too misleading about characters sometimes. Especially not Kir, who has a very expansive history)

Aislin went on to her tip toes to kiss him on the lips, "When you were just laying there... I was so afraid..." She couldn't stop her tears now, "I thought I was reliving my father's death all over again..."

Aislin pressed her ear to his heart, Still she clung to him like he was her life line. Her actions betrayed her words, "If you ever do leave, I'll track you down and turn you to a bloody pulp."

The other three, still sat at the room thinking over things heard. "Curious." Perhaps Matt wasn't betraying his full feelings, but it was the type of thing he didn't stress. Loki and Lucy sat down, not betraying any particular expression either.

Core looked at Aegina, "I don't want something to eat. I need to get myself cured for good," He said seriously. He needed to be an adult again. Something about everything that has been happening was telling him this. He resolved to ask Kir if he could cure him once they return.

Lily began to cry again as she saw Kir's memory. She always felt like she couldn't do enough for him to help him heal. That was what she wanted, for Kir to be happy and healthy. She buried her face in his shoulder.
"Lydia's calm now," Neal said, looking to Mana. "But it might be easy to set her off."
"If you want to get away, we can go for a walk in the city," Chiasa suggested to Core.

"I suppose," Core sighed. He took Chiasa by the hand and started walking through the city with Aegina in tow.

Chiasa looked down when Core grabbed her hand like that. Her heart sped up for a few beats. She walked along side of him.
