"Kaoru," she said quickly. She bowed her head slightly with a quick movement. Her eyes were on his the whole time, feeling the same curiosity that struck her before.
Without realizing she had moved her face a few inches closer to his. Her eyes widened again and she moved back, blushing behind her bandanna. She closed her eyes and took in deep breaths. I must have look like such a fool. What was I doing?

Mark smiled. He examined her bandanna again. "Is it usual for you to wear bandannas?" He asked, hoping that she wouldn't become uncomfortable talking about it. Maybe it was just the town he had washed up to. Maybe everyone wore bandannas around here. He had no idea where he was so anythings possible.

"It's, uhm..." She tried to think up an excuse in a decent period of time. "My face is hideous."
...What? Is that really the best I could come up with? Couldn't have said that it was a part of my culture? That I was a thief? Well, it's too late now. Kaoru turned her face away from him, trying to make her actions match the ridiculous words that had just come out of her mouth.

Mark shook his head. "I bet its not." He said as he stood himself up and put his hand gently on her shoulder. "Why don't you prove to me then that your face is hideous." He said, with a soft voice.

Kaoru turned her head quickly to face him. Her heart was beating so fast that she was afraid he'd hear it. She turned away again, this time with no help from her poor acting skills. She brought her hands up to her face innocently, covering the blush that couldn't be seen anyway.

Mark took his hand away from her shoulder. This girl was pretty shy. He could tell she didn't want to remove her little bandanna mask. But couldn't he make her realize she's beautiful without it? "Please may I see your real face? I swear I'll leave you alone after that." He said with a calming voice.

Kaoru looked at the man with interested eyes. His voice seemed almost like it was calling to her. It was soft, sweet, gentle... and in some strange way, alluring. Her eyes closed as she tried to convince herself that it would be a mistake to reveal anything to this stranger. She wasn't listening to herself. Soon enough, she was nodding her head in agreement to what the man was asking, her eyes still closed. However, as soon as she had stopped nodding, she couldn't move. The sound of his sweet voice was ringing in her head like a bell.

Mark was expecting her to say something. "I'm sorry.. did I upset you?" He asked, afraid that he might of. "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to." He said, feeling bad now. What was wrong with him?

[[sorry about not posting for so long. ^_^; Gaia wasnt working, and its still a bit laggy, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to post all of my RPs, but I'm trying. ^_^;.]]
Crystal was relieved to see Siege. She ran and hugged him. "Siege! There was a ghost in our room, and it was moving our stuff in the room! I'm scared..." She said in one breath.
"Reben Knola?" Max asked.

Siege held her "There is nothing in our room i was just moving stuff around but i had changed so you couldnt see me anymore" he said while changing part of his hand and showing it to her. "See there is nothing to worry about, sorry that I scared you though" he said laughing a little.

"Wha--" Kaoru flinched and her eyes shot open. She couldn't remember where she was until suddenly it all came back to her. "Oh!" She put her hands behind her head and untied the bandanna that was covering her face. She only realized that this was a bad idea when she remembered that she was now blushing because of the embarrassment. She covered her cheeks with her hands shyly and tried to look the other way.

"You... You meanie!!" Crystal said and blushed. She felt so embarrassed. She pulled away from him and turned around. "I'm not talking to you anymore." She said childishly and walked downstairs so that they could check out.
