Being held against the ratlings body, I could see everything going around me..trying my best to hit it and to have it release me. I continued screaming for help...."Someone please help me!!!" hoping that someone would hear me at least.

I heard screaming coming from outside, and rushed outside. I could hear someone screaming for help, but I couldn't see anyone. I drew my daggar, "Hello, Who's there", I called out. It kind of sounded like Takara, but I wasn't certain. I closed my eyes and tried to pinpoint Takara, she was near me...somewhere...."If you don't stand completly still....I will throw this daggar at you, I can sense you perfectly", I said concentrating on Takara and the evil feeling with her.

"I need to make sure...I need to know if it's you..." Dashing throughout the tops of the buildings, I leaped in great lengths. My mind and all focussed on my mission. My emotions locked away. All that mattered right now was to find if Jian was behind all this or not. "Jian, you b*****d...I know you're here somewhere...Show yourself!!"
With that, I finally halted; staring upward towards the top smoke stacks of an abandoned oil refinery. Though it was rusted and decayed, smoke still billowed from the chimneys. I then squinted my eyes; Jian was sitting on one of the supporting rafters near the center stack.
Feeling undeniable rage, I quickly clasped my hands together, and launched a surging pillar of fire towards the chimneys. As they steadily approached the man above, I saw the timy sillouette leap off; free-falling towards me.
As the central smoke stack came crashing down, Jian also came crashing down, as well. When he landed before me, he stood there withing a ragged cloak. My eyes locked onto him like a hawk; piercing at his soul.
"What the f**k did you do to Takara!?" My voice rang with a defined hatred. My aura was as thick as the smog that billowed out the stacks. "Well!? Answer me, now!!"
He stood there; his eyes hollowed and empty. It was as if he lacked a soul and all. Smirking, he calmly replied, " I did nothing to one of your whores...She must be suffering from something else..."
Without hesitation, I cocked my arm back; swiftly striking him down to the ground. Steam began to raise from my body; my eyes turned blood-red. "You never...NEVER call her that!! Understand!?!" My voice became brask and slightly broken. A deep, dark sensation rang through. "Now then...Did you do anything to her!?"
He slowly wiped the blood from his nose; raising to his feet. Still with a blank smile and stare, he parted his lips and said, "I told you...I didn't do anything to her. I've been here all along...watching you...Waiting for the right time to strike..."
"How the f**k can I trust you!?!"
"That's just it..."
"What!?"
"You can't trust me....You know that...And yet you come here; looking for answers you know well enough that I wouldn't tell you the truth, even if I knew it..."
"So you could be lying to me right now...is that what you're saying?"
"Now aren't you the smart one?"
"Watch yourself, Jian...I'm far stronger than I was before...And I know how to kill you, now...That is, now that I remember..."
"Oh...You wanna put that to test, Kang?"
"Tch! I thought you'd never ask, a**hole..."
Taking my stance, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my mind and soul. It was Runa...She was crying out...I new that I had to go find her...To help her...
Hesitantly, I turned about, looking towards the eastern part of the city. I then began to solemnly walk towards her.
"Hey...Hey! Where the f**k do you think you're going, Kang!?!" Furiously, Jian began to follow me; anger and disappointment in his eyes.
"...We will settle this...when I feel the time is right..." With that, I took off in a blaze.
In the distance, I could hear Jian's voice echoing throughout the still air. Filled with such malice and hatred. "COWARD!!!!!! YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!! KANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
As I continued running, I tried to block out his words, but they pierced right into my soul. However, something else quickly began to take over my mind. It was the thoughts of how much pain Runa was going through...

Hearing Runa's voice, I screamed out to her, "Runa, its a creature and it has me..please help me." and then the next thing I knew the ratling grabbed hold of my head and covered over my mouth..

*parth could only see a blurr running on the ground but he didn;t want to attack for he might hit takara*

Ha, I thought pintpointing them, I leaped ontop of them. I felt uptil I had ratling beneath my hands and began jabbing my daggar into him. I then kicked his back, making certain it was him as hard as I could to make him drop Takara. I then continued to stab him, carefully making sure it was not Takara with every jab.

As I eventually was within the general area, I tricked locating exactly where Runa was. However, it was fairly difficult, I suddenly heard a scream. It was Takara. She was screaming out in terror.
"What the--!? Sh*t!! I better get going!!" Leaping into an alleyway, I suddenly saw Runa continuously stabbing a strange figure. "Runa! Runa!!" Without hesitation, I began to sprint towards her.

I could see Runa but apparently she couldnt see me at all. Trying my best to move out of the way of her stabbing the ratling that had me but I couldnt, she got me twice and I screamed in pain, "Runa stop, he's using me as a shield."

I finally found the things arms and dropped my daggar, I then began pulling and ripping at his arms the best I could. I had to make him put her down. I cried as he was trying to shake me loose, but I clung to the invisable mass. I heard Takara screaming, "Im sorry", I cried out. I got my foot around Takara and started to kick the thing in the stumache. It had helped that I had found out where Takara was at. I felt something sharp tearing at my sides and arms, but I didnt let go.

The ratling somehow let go of its grip on my and I was able to move away from it. Thats when I was visible again, I yelled at Runa, "Runa, watch out, I'm free now lets go before others will come."

I felt something sharp tearing at my sides and arms, but I didnt let go. As I came running towards her, I saw blood running down from her body. That's when I got a strong waft of some creature's scent. Though invisible to the naked eye, I could definately smell it. Relying on my nose alone, I came surging past Runa and sinking my claws and fangs deep within the creature as I let loose a primal roar of fury. Blood began to run from my hands and mouth.

"No way", I growled and bent down picking up my daggar...big mistake as I felt claws plunge into my shoulder. I screamed in pain but didn't have time to relax when suddenly I saw Kang whiz by me attacking the thing as well. I then drove my daggar through its heart and fell back off it before it fell. I sat on the ground holding my shoulder and breathing heavily. Darn thing....
