It's a person on their hands and knees. You see that pose a lot in manga and anime. The "o" is the head, the "r" is the arm and shoulders, and the "z" is the torso and legs.

xD German? I have no idea, though I'm fairly certain orz is not a word in any language.
They might say "mansch" or "schiest" (totally did not know how to spell either of them... only know them by ear, because my mom likes to say them). I'm not even sure if those are real German words, or if that's just one of my mom's German+English+Chinese combos.
