Summer sat in the office waiting for the children ward's doctor, Doctor Hyashi, to come and give her the introduction to her job. About an hour passed and she started to get really nervous.What could be taking him so longSummer thought. She looked at her pink watch, 0943. Okay, maybe not a complete hour, but he should have been here...

Another ten minutes passed and the doctor walked in. "Sorry im late, I had a problem at home, my wife had to be at work early and I had to take the young ones to school. I called in, but I take it Tera didnt give you the message?"
Summer nodded slightly. "Shy? Ah dont worry, we're all a big family here. Itll be no time at all before you feel at home. So..you ready to start?" Hyashi inquired.
"I guess so. Is there anything I need to know?"
"Well, Brendon is the wards special patient, and can get a bit moody sometimes. Hes six. And then Kimmy is 7, and she cant have sharp objects."
"Alright" Summer replied.
She followed Hyashi towards the first room, and there sat a little boy.

"So how old are you?", Summer asked with a friendly tone.
"Five", the toddler replied.
Chris was in for a shot, having been diagnosed at birth with a deadly fluid flowing in his blood. Doctors told his parents that he wouldnt live to see four, but the shots that were supposed to slow the process of degradation of his blood cells down, slowly stopped the disease.
"There you go. All done. See that wasnt so bad, and because you were such a little angel, you get two popsicles", Summer said, bending down to the little boys height.
"Yay!", a smile of joy ran across his face.
Summer led the boy to a small room which had a freezer and a fridge. Opening the freezer she took out two popsicles and handed them to the little boy. Smiling, he ran into the reception area where his mother waited.
"Your new here arent you. Its not often that Chris takes a liking to someone so quickly", Ms.Westhow said.
"Thanks, its always a joy working with kids."
"Well, Im sure he hopes your here next week", his mother said, taking her son by the hand.
"Bye Ms.Ellson!", the little boy said.
Ellison was Summers last name, but he pronounced it ellson. It was cute she thought.
Doctor Hyashi walked up to Summer handing her an order form. "I need you to run to the science department in the high school, they just got a shipment of Teracine, if you dont mind just go there, pick it up, sign it off, and come back".
Taking the form Summer nodded and headed for the lunge where her purse and coat hung.

"Ah, thank you I appeared to have an....accident of sorts and have lost all ability to use my arm. Is it still possible to use? I've been told that the spirit energy within it has been drained. If so I'd like to get it amputated", he said calmly standing up and bowing to the girl. Everything he had said...they would have shocked a normal person and they'd probally be in dissarraay about losing their arm. Although he knew what he was getting into before hand.

Rayne walks into the hospital, her trench coat once again on, as well as her sunglasses, and walks up to the front counter. Rayne nocks on the counter, then leans against it. "Hello? Can I have the keys to the blood room?" The woman there turns around, frowns slightly, but hands her the keys after a moment. Rayne was always slightly surprised at how easy it was, but not overly. "Thanks." Rayne says, flashing a smile, though not one big enough to reveal her fangs. Rayne takes the key then walks away.

A few minutes later, she finds the blood room. Rayne smirks and unlocks the door then slips inside. Rayne shuts the door softly, then walks over to the fridges and grabs four different types of packs. She didn't know about Kiro, but she could taste a difference in blood types. Personally, she liked O and AB+ the best. Rayne stuffs them in her pockets, then looks around once more. Nodding in satisfaction, Rayne then turns back for the door. Now she'd just have to manage not to drink it all before getting back to the mall.

"Good point, but I'm sure you'll do fine.", he said reassuring her. Letting her take his hand he followed her down the hallways as he glacned about and stared from room to room and their contents hearing her question his ears perked up slightly. "Well my name happense to be Tamulis Hanata, but you can call me tam for short. Everyone does", he said smiling foolishly at her. "May I have yours?", he asked her in response.

"Hmmm well let's see I need to get a prosthethic so the best place would be at the shoulder joint since from there down I can't even feel anything.", he said smiling. Patting her shoulder lightly he knew she was probally panicking it must have been odd for some student to actually request a amputation. "It's okay if you don't know how to I can just wait for the doctor to get back", he said to her as he stood to get up. "It's nothing really I expected it to happen sooner or later. This school is based partly on combat so well..yeah", he said out loud as he stood up slightly and turned back to her smiling broadly. "Oh, and don't worry about dropping the pen we're only mortal", he continued as his tail waved from side to side.

Rayne walks with him to the hospital and blinks in surprise as he speaks. "Um... sure." She says then pauses. "And.. it was no problem, really." She says, somewhat falteringly. She was not used to being thanked for anything. Plus... she'd only acted in self preservation, to keep her job so she could stay at Ria.
