Wind... not right now, Kumizu. Kumizu lost the smile on his face for just a moment; then it returned. "Well, I can't say that I can 'tell' the weather. Conjuring a storm is not hard for me, though. That's something I learned in the beginning, but that's about the extent of my... expertise, I guess you could say, on that part of the element." He didn't mean to gloat, and he hoped it didn't sound that way.

Arimwen walked over to the hot spring and looked at the water. He had only a towel around his waist as he began to sink into the water. He did not mind though. It felt good to get out of the libary.
"This is the life." He sighed.

Kumizu smiled. "Do you mind the rain?" he asked. "I don't like messing around with the weather," he added, "but I am curious.
"Myself, I love it. Even just feeling a light rain hitting my body is the best feeling in the world for me. I came to the hot springs as soon as I found out about it. I fell asleep in the water." He laughed. "You like the cooler weather, though?"

Arimwen laughed seeing these two. He laughed and put his hands under the water making it boil over like a hot pot. "Oh. I am sorry. I let some fire hit the water and boil it over." He laughed.

Kumizu nodded. "If you need someone to take over, I'd be happy to help." He brought up a hand again and this time a ball of water was in it; a perfect sphere. He clenched his hand and it disappeared. The next breeze that blew by carried mist in it, lightly hitting all of them.
He continued the conversation as if it wasn't happening. "Yeah, some people with the ability tend to abuse it. Like my-" He cut himself off. How could he let himself slip like that? Trying as best he could to hide his uneasiness, he picked up the conversation again. "You moved to the mainland? Where did you live before that?" He couldn't even hear the other man; he was so focused on trying to keep his cool.

((The walls are made of bamboo, so I think you could hear us, not see us.))
He was rather relieved that she didn't push his mistake. "I love the water. Even the most raging storm can calm me down. It's sometimes the only way I can relax, and it helps replenish my energy. I actually found out that ten minutes in those springs are better for me than an eight hour sleep." He chuckled.
"But, enough about that. You say you're from the sea. What race are you?"

((I don't know. Whatever.))
Kumizu laughed at her joke. "Well, I won't be doing much dancing." He gestured towards the cane.
As she sat down, he looked around. He didn't want to show off, but he couldn't find any other seat. He closed his eyes and let his arms move in a series of motions. Water formed under him in the shape of a chair, and he froze it. Sitting down, he said, "Well, I know plenty of people who look like humans but actually aren't." Like me. "I know I've met plenty since I've been here. What about you? How long have you been here?"

((Same to you. Good night.))
Kumizu sat back in his "chair". He laughed. "That's about the time I started coming, a little less than a week.... Many levels indeed." His smile faded as she had finished her last sentence. As much as he tried to hide it, his thoughts kept going back to his father. His started to frown but realized she was there. However, when he looked up at her, she was staring at the sky. He followed her gaze, and they sat there, in calm silence for a moment.

Cassi walked in the locker room and found her locker at the end of the row. She changed into her bathing-suite and grabbed a towel by the door. She headed toward the woman's hot spring. She sank into the water and leaned her head back. Cassi sighed as she enjoyed the relaxing springs.

Kumizu stood. The chair melted, and the puddle left over seemed to absorb into his boot. "It was a pleasure talking to you, and, thank you for the drink." He took a sip before continuing. "I plan on exploring a little more, so I'll see you around." With a friendly smile he turned and walked away. Kumizu thought it interesting how he could be so... accepted. Even with the shows of his powers, he felt generally comfortable here. This place was like a safe haven for him, and it had been awhile since he'd found one. He just hoped it would last.
