I wonder how Refuto and Umen are doing at the Tsuchi Dojo.
Bao turned his head sideways and pretended to look in it's direction.

While still in the air, Tobu opened his wings to extend the jump.
He simply flew over Lina, straight to Iri, spreading his forearms to throw her on the ground.

Iri brings both hands foreward, her eyes flashing as she does so. Two powerful, concentrated gusts of air strike the wolf directly in the chest. Two more fill his wings to help knock him back. With the second or two this gives her, Iri uses her hands to direct two more streams of air. Like snakes, they coil around him. One takes a hold of his body, compressing his chest to make it harder for him to breathe. The other wraps around his neck. It squeezes, but doesn't entirely cut off his airway. Then they hoist him high, away from Iri and Lina. The visual is something like this: Imagine a couple of extremely fast spinning tornadoes have formed on either side of Iri's feet, only about six inches thick at their stationary bases, and have wrapped themselves around the wolf demon. Not only is there a great amount of pressure being exerted on the wolf's neck and chest, but if he tries to fight, he'll find himself being beaten by the rock, dirt, and debris being sucked into the twisters.

This feeling of being powerless irritates Tobu extremely.
He powerfully struggles and flaps his wings to try and get away from the twisters, the debris nearly does no damage to the thick and isolated pelt of the demon.
His neck, shoulders and torso are highly muscled, and the wind doesn't really affect his breathing, but not being able to get away, is a feeling he hates the most.

Lina capitalized on Iri's technique capturing him. She started feeding the dust like particles of her technique into the wind. It was slower, and likely to hurt more if it didn't disrupt the control.

For a moment, Iri's eyes seem to glaze over. She's distracted, though it doesn't seem to make her concentration on her technique waver. And she's still fully aware of what's going on. It's only for a split second, though, and then she's back to normal.
"Lina, remember that thing you did to Reeve back at the dojo? He was walking toward the freaky chick with the wings, and you did something to paralyze him. Think you can do the same to this guy? I'll keep him tied up, but I want to make sure he stays immobilized. Something's going on at Tsuchi. A couple of guys are harassing Ren. If I'm going to help him and keep wolfie restrained at the same time, I need him to stop struggling so much."
Even as Iri communicates with Lina, her eyes are starting to glaze over again. And the demon will find that, no matter how hard he struggles, the twisters don't budge. He would have to have a much better form of defense against Kaze to fight against them.

Releasing screams of frustration, Tobu keeps struggling at the technique.
His skills aren't build on defence, but on attack.
He opens his mouth, and a black sludge similar to that of the exploded minions got spewn out.
It would spread out while falling, and it touched, it would feel like hot tar, sticking to the body, and stinking in the eyes.
Hopefully, that will distract the bird-woman.

Iri brings her left wing forward in a sweeping motion, and a strong gust sends the sludge to the side and splatters it against a wall. She had figured he would try something like that. Hence the distance between himself and Iri. She's making sure she has enough time to defend against any form of retaliation. If that's all he's got, then struggling is futile. He'll just wear himself out, and eventually make Iri's job a lot easier.
The demon really is a good fighter. What he did to Jin is a nifty trick. And he's much more clever than Iri had originally thought. But she's beginning to see the same thing he's thinking. The demon is nothing but a good fighter. Iri can fight, defend, and counter. And she does all three things very well. So he can't hope to compete against her. Not when he's already bound up like that.

Guess I'll have to use an old trick again...
He opens his mouth again, and breaths out black smoke, that quickly forms into a minion, though this one is about the same size as Tobu, and doesn't have a symbol on his forehead.
And something else happens.
Tobu starts to change back, under loud yelping, he changed back into Ookamimaru.
His forepaws turning back into hands, fur pulling back, teeth getting shorter, and after a while, Ookamimaru hangs in the air, in Iri's technique, and the big winged wolf demon stood next to her, growling.

'That won't work here, different circumstances, and I had that prepared specifically for Reeve when I figured he'd turn again... I may have something though'
A large opaque barrier sphere, crackling from the not entirely focused Rai, appeared around the clone then started constricting rapidly. She was using the normally defensive technique to crush the copy, seeing no reason not to be lethal in this situation.

Iri doesn't let her bonds loosen on Ookamimaru. She feels like a trick can be in the works. Just in case the wolf demon really is standing next to her, Iri allows herself to take on her air form. For the moment, she looks solid. But if he attacks her, it'll meet nothing but ether. Also...
"I would say that strategy is just as good. And keep in mind, we don't know how closely bonded these two are, Lina. My guess is Ookamimaru's been possessed by this thing, and for a very long time. If their life forces are connected, or their souls, killing the demon could hurt my student. And I'm not sure what killing him would do to Jin, either."
Iri never takes her eyes off of Ookamimaru, though she keeps the demon and his crackling problem in her periphereal vision.
"Okay, kid, can you hear me? If you're coherent, you've got to tell me what's going on here."

Lina nodded, slowing the constriction.
Her eyes seemed to flicker black for but a moment then the barrier strengthened.

Even in her air form, Iri's expression reflects what she's doing. Now she's thinking back to her spies at the Rai Dojo's building. One of them suddenly stops in its usual course. After a moment, it keeps going. This happens several times, each time with a different spy. Eventually, Iri finds one that picks up on Tier.
An air spy approaches Tier, lighting up so it can get his attention. Then Iri's voice emits from the core of chakra.
"I'm tied up with Ookamimaru. Ren is headed this way, but he's got a couple of guys tailing him. One uses Ho, the other uses Rai. I think they're with Bao. I'm trying to help, but there's not much I can do. Feel up to helping him out?"

Tier saw the air spy lighting on and off and listened to it's message. "You've already seen what they can use? Sounds like it's more than just tailing. I will go."
He looks at Kwubara and clenches his own fist that's holding the necklace.
Tier takes off towards the Tsuchi Dojo with haste.

Dang! A tiny bit of a miscalculation I made here...
The demon tried to broaden the barrier by pushing against it, and slamming a it with his claws.
Ookamimaru hung unconscious, his limbs hanging slack, just like his tail, his hair hanging over his half-open, non-seeing eyes.
He got difficulty in breathing too, due to the technique, and the debris was already making scratches in his skin.
