Kwubara was a little startled as the ground started to move. After coming to a stop he loked at his new foes and stated to study them. "Hinder you how?" kwubara asked as he started to decide on how to attack. Then something started to poke him in the foot. It was distracting because he could not make sense of it.

"My research."
Bao opened his arms wide as if he was about to embrace someone.
"If I start now then I'll be able to double the results up until my time."
He paid attention to Lina's approach by the energy she was giving off to reach them in time.
"What I'm saying might not make sense right now but, just know that your fellow students won't be killed. The teachers-- I have a different fate for them in mind."
Bao dropped his arms and turned around to pick up Ren's body. The Gear Tunneler's shark head opened its mouth wide as it was ready to receive the body. A flash of blue energy seemed to cover over it's mechanical drill claws and head in preparation for the capture. As those were the only parts that were showing out of the ground."I'll have to leave Daizing alive for now, even though he really is annoying."
He said as he looked over to Daizing's unconscious body. Bao slung Ren's body over his shoulder and prepared to throw him into the Gear Tunneler's jaws.

When Lina was less then a second away she threw a full volley of kunai towards one of the tunneler's claws. Her barrier went completely opaque and increased in voltage as it went straight towards Bao, three claw like talons sticking out as it suddenly shot forward much faster, aiming to remove his head.

A metal spike shot forth to pierce Bao through the chest. It had spawned right in front of him at point blank. If it went through his chest, it would be poking out for Lina's lightning attack to intercept and cause even more internal damage.
The "Ren" Bao was holding had suddenly deformed into rocks and mud.
It was an earth clone the entire time.
Ren replaced himself with it during the Chimera tank fight and hid underground before the poison gas erupted.
Ren had spawned out of the ground fully clad in rock armor from head to toe. His face was even covered, but he was using his Byakugan to see out of it. Ren was standing just out of reach of the Gear Tunneler.

Kaimen watched his student strike down Bao with a single spike. He was poised and read to attack, feeling Tier had the other situation under control.
Slowly, Daizing's body began to sink into the ground. This was Kaimen's doing.

The kunai attack on the drill claws had no effect as they bounced off the metal. The Gear Tunneler's mouth was still open.Bao had turned to face Lina's attacks but soon learned it was a diversion. It wasn't the real Ren who he was carrying.
"!?"
The metal spike had pierced Bao in the back and went through the middle of his chest.
How amusing.
He quickly realized what was about to happen.
Bao lifted a hand with clamped fingers at the oncoming Rai barrier. Electricity cackled when he separated the fingers to disperse the Rai barrier from where he stood.
Ohh?
He saw the oncoming lightning claws but didn't bother to get out of the situation. Bao's head had been cut clean off and rolled on the ground at his feet.
Yet there was no blood from the decapitation.

The barrier bubble fizzled away and Lina returned to sight where the barrier had gone completely opaque. Bits of blood running down her visible skin from unseen wounds. She was smiling even at the fact that the decapitation seemed ineffective.
She quickly fired a charged ball of Rai into the the tunneler's still open mouth. Followed by a lightning bolt from the other hand that felt more powerful then usual, but tainted to anyone's Chakra sense. The bolt rebounded off the ball by scattering into smaller arcs inside the tunneler that went in random directions.

Ren watched as Bao's head was cut off from Lina's attack.
Did that do it..?
He was keeping an eye on the other big machine.
No way he survived, his head just got chopped off. Unless he did something last second, but I didn't see anything.
Ren continued to stand there and watched Lina's attack go towards the machine's mouth.

The Gear Tunneler literally ate the lightning attacks and absorbed it into it's own energy supply.
It was the same machine that stole the lightning supply from the Rai Dojo almost a month ago. It's drill claws should have looked familiar.
The Gear Tunneler's shark head suddenly dived down onto Bao's head and body and chomped the earth with it. Mouth now closed, the Gear Tunneler started to go back into the earth slowly. It's head went down first. Then it's drill claws shifted back into massive drills and also went into a decent.

Lina still kept smiling as it left. Seeming slightly insane or perhaps stupid as she yelled.
"I hope it gives you indigestion."

Ren's Byakugan saw what happened when the Gear Tunneler absorbed Lina's attacks. He made a mental note in his head about it before looking over to Lina and her insane mindset. Ren's helmet of rock opened up so his face could be seen.
He quickly looked back to the retreating Gear Tunneler.
"Sh-Shoot, he's getting away!
Are we suppose to let him leave like this??"

She shrugged before sliding towards her blades.
"Any other Rai technique I do will just feed it, it ate the tags I threw at it last time, so Taijutsu's about all I got that might dent it if it was above ground."
She pulled a cloth from the bag at her hip. She then started wiping the various amounts lines of what probably was her own blood from her face, some of the drips that had reached the ground turning a disturbingly dark color before evaporating.

Kaimen could have stopped the driller, but in his mind, that wasn't the priority. Rising from the earth he approached the students.
"Are you all unhurt? Asses the Damages."
He had already moved Daizing to a safer location. And trusted Tier to clean up the other endeavor. The Forest began to open back up again, though he was still aware of the other opponents on the battle field, namely Kansou, and the looming ship above. His armor was still brimming and active.

The presence of the Gear Tunneler suddenly disappeared. It had been re-summoned from a location far away.

"Just a bit of blood loss from faking burnout."
She looked around and shrugged.
"I guess Daizing went down."
She blinked a few times before asking.
"So that ship... does that mean the technology restriction act is suspended?"
She blinked a few more times after realizing she might be asking the wrong person, a part of her begining to suspect that her mind was succumbing to more then just the minor blood loss.
