Mathias nodded once again, satisfied with who was replacing him for the time being. "Yes sir." The Pelican had been only a short walk, and Mathias climbed inside of the Pelican's cargo/troop bay and found a spot to sit.

The Captain walked past him and entered the cockpit. The dor slid shut and the Pelican hummed to life. The back bay doors started to close as the speakers vibrated with the Captain's voice, "Ok Lieutenant, this will take a little bit. So grab some shut eye. We'll be there in a hour."
The Pelican started to rise off the ground and shake alittle more than before.

Sergent Jenkins stood up and looked around. Ah, there he is... Jenkins walked over to 108. "Sir. Permition to take out a small squad and scout ahead?"

He silently watched the Pelican as it began to take off. "Didn't get a chance to bid the lieutenant farewell," he mumbled. He shrugged it off, knowing he had other things to take care of than to worry about the soldiers going up to the Armengald.

aassaa123 Sergent Jenkins stood up and looked around. Ah, there he is... Jenkins walked over to 108. "Sir. Permition to take out a small squad and scout ahead?" The SPARTAN, his rifle slung over his shoulder as he surveyed the area, turned and looked down at the Marine that addressed him. He was already planning on sending out scout units, but in more organized groups with the highest ranking members of his team commanding each group. Since this Marine decided to volunteer, however, he nodded. "Alright then. Take three and scout out the nearest areas that we haven't checked yet. Report anything unusual, and fall back to this position if you come in contact with any Flood forms. Understood?"

"Yes Sir!" Jenkins saluted. He turned around and walked over to a pile of crates and climbed on top of them. "Marines!" Jenkins said loudly, "Spartan 108 has granted me permition to take a small team out on a scouting mission...any volentiers?" Jenkins looked over the group of marines and ODSTs, waiting for replies.

"Sir!" Scarlett stepped forward, saluting to the sergent. "I volentier, sir!" (( Ahem; you're of higher rank than him. Take command and lead him and any others. -__- This is why people need to know their own ranks. ))

Mendez looked over at jenkins. "Marine, Bravery appreciated, but are you sure you're up to the job? I'd rather have you not killed or have you do something stupid."

The doctor analyzing Bisenti's blood sample stepped back from the electron microscope. He looked at a screen to the right, listing off all the elements normal and abnormal. There was two unknown elements in his blood system, one mutated, one recently undiscovered. The doctors did more geneology testing as he slowly began to change. The rungs in his DNA were now different, he had five more pairs of chromosomes than a normal human.

The doctor came to a quick conclusion. Whatever this may be, it could be contagious. Transported by air even? how many people have been exposed? The dropship pilots and the wounded....Medical personell wore germ filters... The good doctor barked out the orders,"Get all those new arrivals into quarentine ASAP! We have to put Sergent Bisenti here on total lockdown. Until we know whats going on."
Wheeling down the hallways of the deck toward a Quarantine Zone 3, in the Medical bay in a sealed strecher, Sergent Bisenti slipped in and out of conciousness. He tried to speak, But to no advail. he quickly slipped back into the medication endused coma.
