"I know but this isn't right, since when does the daughter have to be the mother of the family?" She sigheed and pulled Emerald back to her as she tried to get away again

No. But my better judgment is saying 'get out of there'.
Maybe if she plays with Ena a bit, it'll calm her down. And to answer your question, I think whenever the real mother is unable to do anything. Gabe smiled and gently nudged Celestia. It'll be okay.

"Stupid females with fsih tails!" He growled "You're messing with a water dragon" He opened up his mouth a shot a bubble at the mermaid. She laughed and popped the bubble with her nail
"Don't remind me, I already fell like a old dragon wtih this happening"

Uh... yeah. That worked. Dessy muttered sarcasticly. Let me try something... (She doesn't have any orbs... what can she do? ninja ) Taking a deep breath, Dessy screamed at the top of her lungs.
Back in the cave, Anja's feathery ears twitched.

Gabe tilted his head and looked between Blitz and Celestia.
If you feel old, he said to Celestia, How old does Sis feel?

The mermaid laughed and picked Leviathan up by the tail "Hey let me go!" He kicked his legs and arms around but didn't move
What is it Lloyd's ears went back as the scream echoed through his ears too
"Yeah, let's not go there, I'm a baby, she's a teen, though we are both 'early' mother"

RARH! Dessy launched herself at the mermaid, attempting to bite the hand/arm that held Levi.
I thought I heard Dessy... Anja looked out. I hope she's alright...
Seph looked up as well. His wing began to flap slowly.

Gabe nudged Celestiia again.
But you both are really mature mentally.
