"Huh that does sound like a good idea." Though Galesen blinked when Luccan suddenly sneezed blood onto Kyst, and as the sea elf reacted to the blood on Luccan shirt, Galesen moved so he was supporting the wood elf a bit as he was bleeding once again. "That sucks Luccan, it's a shame there is no better way of fixing it." He then looked back to his house for a moment. "Do you want to come inside? You could lie down or wash up in the bathroom if you want."

"No, he doesn't want to go inside, Galesen. Luccan hates ruining things and he'll just feel bad when he drips blood all over your nice carpet and furniture. Besides the air is good for his body. Our Luccan's not a wimp. He can take it and sit in the dirt like a man. Right?"
She flinched against Glynnic but showed no other signs of the Brigade Master's reaction bothering her. "Consider it given, Master. I must ask that you not mention this to anyone else. It would cause a mass panic and we really can't afford that right now. I'll trust you to take care of though. If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know."

Luccan gave a half hearted chuckle. "Yeah...I can handle it. I can't baby myself or my body will never adjust. Call it crazy, but the air outside the forest is so different that it bothers me, thus the sneezing." Shaking his head lightly. "Besides if I lay down, all the blood just pools."
"Well then...we'll leave it in your hands. Come dearest, we have orders to give." Pulling Lark up and more or less letting themselves out, frowing when they were back outside. "I wonder what he knows. Whatever it was, it didn't make him happy and usually he handles things well."
Tyyrael gave a frustrated noise and headed out of his study, seeking out Lhia whom of course had gone back to check on Vale. "I have to go Lucana. Apparently I should know better than to trust anyone anymore."

One stone fist broke through, and started pulling at chunks of the wall. they couldn't get through, but the wall was starting to go. the poor elf on the other side though did get seen. and heard the echoing 'intruder' comment as he way out.

Galesen looked at Kyst for a moment, a simple yes or no would of been fine, and coming from the person he asked would of been okay too. But at least Luccan was feeling fine and that was good enough. "That's fine.' Though he shook his head a bit. "Nah I don't think it's crazy, I still feel odd when I go mountain climbing, and when I visit the forest I do feel a little off too." Being from a different plane Galesen had gotten use to most changes, but some still stuck to him. "How long do you think you have till your body adjusts and such?"

"And you can't rune it away because it would only cause your body to bleed more. What a catch-22." Shaking his head and leaning back on his palms as Luccan seemed to have his bleeding somewhat under control. "You definitely want to stay out of the water if you're like that. We don't have many fish that like blood but one or two that will try to get you."
Glynnic was voicing her exact thoughts and she shook her head. "I don't know but I have a feeling we aren't going to be the only ones affected. It doesn't make any sense why someone would hijack the mines anyway. Valuables can be found in anyplace on this plane. What is it they want? Besides cold-blooded murder..." Shuddering as she said that last part.
She was smoothing the blankets over Vale who was, blissfully, still in reverie. "I should have hit him with the frying pan again, shouldn't have I?" Shaking her head, she moved over next to him and frowned. "Lucana...is he hiding in the mountains somewhere?" But that was only speculation and she moved to begin packing things. "How long are we going to be gone?"

"That's because the forrest air is thick. This is like being in the mountain for me." He shrugged though, "Don't know. When it's ready then it's ready." They were right though he was stuck. Though he found the strength to punch Kyst in the arm. "Gee thanks for making me scared of water now." Rolling his eyes he looked over to Galesen. "Have any food handy? Helps keep away the whoosy feeling."
"Now don't think that way. However, whatever it is Tyyrael seems to know how he wants to handle it and how exactly to deal with it. But it is best to keep everyone away for now. Lucana's economy should be fine and if not, well we have plenty to help with."
"Probably. And in the minds, actually. I know where and I think I know what it causing this as I've seen all that as well. Things that shouldn't still be here but are and need to be solved. I think I'm going to take a few days to walk all the tunnels and make sure I cover the whole mine."

"Well then don't go mountain climbing or you'll feel like you're in the highest reaches of the atmosphere then." But he gave a nod at his friend's answer though he rolled his eyes as Kyst gave his little warning. "Well I did bring some food out with me so I could stay outside and work for awhile." So he got up and wandered over to a small sack he left underneath a tree, quietly he grabbed it and as he walked back he was going through it. "Well I have some dried meat, cheese and bread; take whatever you want, Luccan." He then handed the sack over to his friend and sat down next to him again. "So aside from working or studying or bleeding or causing mayhem, what else have you guys been up to lately?" These buddy moments they had together were good, but they never had them often, and usually when they three of them together there were always a few other people around, so it wasn't the same.

"Bread will coat your stomach and keep you from throwing up. Eat it slow, Luccan." He didn't even blink at the punch on the arm, just shook his head. Luccan knew better than to go into water in his condition anyway. He chuckled and shook his head. "There's only one thing left in my life and that's Isle. I've been sleeping with her."
"I already gave the order. The mining crews should have pulled out by now. I didn't want to risk anymore deaths." She pushed her hands through her hair and then gave a sad smile to her husband. "Another reason the Moon elves should be glad I married the head Arch." Squeezing her hands together. "I have to tell Moonblade's family..."
"The mines? That's an odd place." But that meant they needed camping gear as well. She knew Ty was able to move them wherever at any point in time but she felt better knowing they were prepared. "I knew that self-righteous b*****d wouldn't keep his word. He hurt Vale and had no intentions of leaving nothing behind of himself. We'll clean out the mine and he'll finally be gone for good. Unless he left another present somewhere else."

"Enough 'wells' in there Gale? Careful, repeat yourself like that too much and you're going to make me think I'm in a loop of sorts. I lose my grasp on reality sometimes these days." But he smiled and gave a thank you as Galesen provided food and Kyst provided advice. "I swear I'm never full these days." Taking the bread he broke off little pieces and fed himself, though mindful of an edding nosebleed. "That's all I do. That, reverie and eat. Not much to my life." But Kyst decided to bring up something they normally didn't talk about each with each other. Isle. Hm...he hadn't been with her in forever. He chuckled at the joke in his head. "Sirens are supposed to live in the water, not out of it. How unfortunate for you."
"Now you know that any other nation would help out as well if needed. We just happen to be closest and avaliable." Resting an arm around her shoulder he gave her a reassuring squeeze. "We'll tell them together. And anyone else we have to tell. Unfortunately this is merely one of the many unpleasant things that come with the leadership territory."
"I have a good theory why. Pack a sledgehammer." Just because it would make him feel better. However it took him a moment before he realized that she was packing for the two of them, not just packing him things for a safe trip on his own. "Are you sure you want to come? What about Vale and the children?" Lhia didn't like being away when they weren't at top notch.

Galesen chuckled as Luccan decided to point something out to him. "I never know if I do that really, I just speak and the words come out. But don't worry Luccan, I'll try to change it up so you don't feel like you're stuck in a bad loop." He then gave a small nod to the thanks that was given and reached in the sack for the piece of cheese he had in there and began to nibble on it; though he did hold it out toward Kyst if the sea elf wanted any. "Luccan, you need to get out more my friend." But there was a bit of silence as Kyst decided to tread on a certain subject; he had begun to wonder where Isle had been, and so he was given is answer out of all the places he needed to know. "Indeed it is unfortunate. She's a rare breed of siren, and she has the three of us listening closely for her song." Though it seemed that some were listening mosre closely than most at the moment.

"Isle isn't rare but that's why I enjoy her as much as I do. She's just a normal, everyday elf that knows how to have fun and can appreciate some of the finer things in life. Like sex."
"Either way it's appreciated. It does expedite the process that we share a bed, you know. Deciding loans and aid over pillow talk." She wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his chest, letting it all sink in. She knew she had to be strong and allow others to grieve while she carried her queen face. But later...she was going to want to be the one who cried and grieved and she knew she would have Glynnic there to be her strength. "We might as well get it over with."
The order excited her so much that she picked up two and laid them against the wall where they could do no harm. She was indeed packing for the both of them and had not intentions of letting him go by himself. "They'll be fine for a few days. Vale is tired of me fussing about him all the time and the babies just keep picking up on my upset. That's not good for them and it only makes them fussy. I want to come with you and I want to help you and I want to have my revenge on this b*****d. Even if it's not on him physically. I hit him with a frying pan, I can hit whatever he left behind with a sledgehammer. Besides, it's my job as practically second in command."

"Why am I the one who is always getting teased?" Shaking his head as Gale took his turn on the Isle subject before it was back to Kyst. "Sex is considered one of the finer things in life now?"
He hugged her, running his fingers through her hair as he knew what she was feeling through their bond. "I know it's hard darling. No worries, we'll get through this. Then we'll go home and snuggle up together with a cup of tea and let it all come as it may."
He couldn't help but smile at her as she laid out her points. "Yes I suppose that is your right as second in command now. Company that I can deeply enjoy and rely on as well. THe kids will all be fine, I'm sure and we'll solve this problem. Let's grab some food, give goodbyes and orders and head over to Lucana. A little longer trip, as we'll take a horse. I need to save my energy for when we get there."

"All things consider Luccan, you being on the end where all you do is study and work, work and study, it leaves you opened for teasing, it's part of the social circle of life." Galesen grinned a little to his friend before his ears twitched to the words that were carried forth from Kyst's mouth. So to Kyst, Isle was just an everyday elf? Galesen couldn't help but shake his head, to him Isle was not like an everyday elf, to say that is to say that the rarest gemstone is just like every other gemstone discovered.
"While I do agree that she does know how to appreciate the best things life has to offer, like sex and all, and she is a lot of fun...there is just something about her than makes her different than a everyday elf. She is as normal as anyone can be, but she has...something." And then Galesen stood up and wandered over to the block of ice, he needed to be up and moving. With a small sigh he walked around the block until he was behind it, then he took off his gloves and flexed his fingers before he placed them on the block. Suddenly a hissing noise could be heard as steam rose into the air.

"It is on my list. Right up there with fine diamonds and a good meal." He watched Galesen and merely scoffed. "You can't even put a name to the something that she has? It's just...something. People say that about all of their bed partners, Galesen. Isle doesn't like being seen as different. She's a Rainsong and happy being so."
She took the comfort he gave in spades and then wrapped an arm around his waist and tended to things that were less than pleasant. It was hard listening to a wife cry and watching a father go pale with the knowledge that his son was never coming back home. By the time all three families had been informed, Lharika was long past her emotional breaking point and all she wanted was for it to go away. "This is the part of ruling that I hate..."
"And when we get back we can make it all up to them. They're good kids and they'll be fine." She finished packing them both up, handing the bags over to him so he could stash them and she went to see about getting one of the Zephyrs saddled then came back in and made them both a sandwich while packing food for the road. "You don't know what we're getting into, Ty. Are you sure you've got everything you need?"
