Lydia nodded did as he told her. She placed it on the bed.
I wonder what is taking Amaranth so long, Neal thought to Lydia, a little distantly.
Lily followed with Kir behind Bradley. she was trying not to let herself get too hopeful, but it was difficult.

"We have a connection, just as strong as Kir made with Durrahn, so LEAVE HER ALONE!!!" Rachel screamed at the voice in thoughts. Only Durrahn and the voice could hear her now, "Stop taking over my friends! If you want someone so damn badly, then take me over instead! But leave them alone!!"
Bradley soon found an empty room that has yet to be cleaned, "This should be fine. We shouldn't make too much of a mess and it will only take a minute," He said and walked in.

"Not anymore!!!" Rachel yelled. She knew what it took before to take her over. So she used music to try and invade Durrahn's mind to keep her safe. Doing this weakened her mind for a few moments, but it wouldn't take long before it strengthened again. The crystallis remained firmly attached to Durrahn, "Try to get her to remove me and I'll sever any magic links she has with you. And if you think I'm kidding, just try me," She was serious. She tried to infiltrate Durrahn's mind and take over.
Bradley coaxed Kir to kneel down on the floor, "I need you to support him," He said, "Also, get ready for the most wildest emotional trip you can imagine," He knew she was empathic from some of her reactions.

Lily knelt behind Kir and prepared to hold him up if he faltered. "I'll try," she said to Bradley. her defenses were not the best they had ever been, but she thought she could be strong for Kir.

"Alright. Keep him still," Bradley said and brought out the disk from it's case. He held it up in front of Kir.
Kir was slowly shuffling back again, trying to escape what was going on.

Right when the voice spoke, Rachel began crushing the connection Durrahn has with the voice. She had no more need to speak to it anymore. She warned him, and he ignored it. She still tried to take over Durrahn's mind.
Kir was backed into Lily now. He looked ahead fearfully at Bradley. He couldn't move farther away because Lily was there.

That was the last thing he heard before Bradley poured magic into the disk and put it close to his forehead. A torrent of memories and emotions and thoughts and ideas poured into Kir's mind. His empty mind soaked it up like a sponge. His eyes were wide and unmoving. He went perfectly still in Lily's grasp.
