Darius slowly walked through the forest oblivious to what was going on around him. He just was riddled with questions. He heard some wierd screaching noise but ignored it. More important things were going on for him right now.

"Just what is going on with me..."

Darius continued to walk through the forrest, the sound was getting louder. Darius still didn't really care. He just continued walking into a clearing. The noise was really loud now, again he ignored it. He started to walk right in front of the creature not even noticing it.

Scytheress growled deeply folding her top two wings over her in a cocoon like shape as her other eight wings kept her in the air. The needles hit the shield of feathers, blasting through as a fine grain of soot. As she sent her protecting wings away the dust fell off and her eyes shot back down towards the monster. Her gaze caught the utter decimation of the section of forest. Scythe drew her right arm back ready to laugh an attack at the monster when her sight grazed over Yusake. His compusure had change as well as his overall stance. Even his energy signature was off the norm. Though she had no wish to ever befriend the boy, he was indeed powerful and one she'd like to fight against someday herself so the winged creature spiralled into a dive and slammed into the ground, her wings disappearing and a small whirlwind surrounding each of her shins. Scythe sprinted forward toward Yusake as the great inhale reached her ears. A wind buffer formed around the fox-elf as she herself seemed a blur of wind. She reached Citedal's side and her wings suddenly shot out and she vaulted in a sudden somersualt forward, redirecting her speed into the air and then back down at a diagonal at his left shoulder, throwing her right shoulder forward aiming to slam into him. Upon contact the wind would exploded forward, the vacuum created behind her closing up and slamming forward with an added force. There was however wind cushion between Scythe and the monster so no bones broke just yet, but she would have on hell of a bruise later if she hit him.

The air seemed to let out a slight, distorted sense of motions when the creature took in its breath...and there was a pause. "SooOooOOo...dead...eh...? Yet..." Yusake managed to make out as the world faded in and out, and he slowly bled over the ground. He set his eyes onto the beast, slowly returning to normal vision...though just barely. His eyes widened larger to see the creature before him, recognizing its posture, its stance, its action. "No..." his words could barely be understood in their low tone. The creature retracted its shape a little, then extended its head. Its mouth opened wide, immense teeth baring as it let out a very sudden blasting scream. A wave of force rushed from around its body, both Scytheress and Shien would be suddenly pushed away and sent to the ground as if they were mere insects. The trees and the surrounding objects flickered, a translucent, mirror image appearing near them for just a split second. The dust and shards of wood shivered and lifted slightly off the ground in the destroyed area of forest Yusake was in. The terrible scream then steadily became a lower pitch...and then suddenly...went silent.

Yusake's eyes widened further and he grit his teeth. He looked to be in pain, his body shaking violently. Finally, he couldn't take it and opened his mouth wide to yell...but there was no sound. There was absolutely no sound to be heard from him or anything in front of the creature. Yusake's scream, the movement around him...truly, nothing could be heard. Yet the beast's shriek was occuring, it in fact was there...but there was nothing heard. It was inexplicable as to why the very sound in the path of beast ceased to exist. It was not the same, however, for anything on either side of the creature or behind it...which was fortunate for Shien and Scy. Because at this very moment, anyone, everyone, and everything would feel a sudden, immense pressure within their minds. They would see constant images of their own body being torn and ripped apart, even feel it. They would see madness itself and feel their very sanity breaking. The same was happening to Yusake, who was at this moment on his knees with tears streaming down his face. He clutched his head tightly, but nothing stopped the pain. The very area he was in seemed to be tearing itself apart. The objects and the other man would feel and experiance this sensation, as the effect of multiple, translucent like images of Yusake split from his position, and the same would happen with everything else. Reality tore apart, and time almost seemed to stop as animals further off had already succumb and were now corpses lying on the ground bleeding through their eyes and ears...

Scytheress slammed back into the ground, landing on one fold of her wings and skidding back. Shepushed off her wings to vault into the air and land on her feet just in time to feel the first wave of the screeching sound. She stumbled forward, doubling over and grasping her head with both hands over her ears. Her feet fumbled and as she began to fall she beat her wings to shove her to the side out of range of the scream. She laid on her back, heaving in labored breaths with eyes closed.

With a groan Scytheress sat up and extened her wings upward, flapping them once to pick her back onto her feet. She placed one hand on her forehead, running it back and tugged on her ear in a habitual gesture only when she drew her had back her finger tips were coated red. She took a moment to focus her eyes on the reddened fingertip before letting her gaze roam and it locked on Yusake. He was helpless within the very attack she had narrowly escaped.

Scytheress stayed put, placing her palms together before her and fixing her vision on Citedal. A well of energy was beginning to surge through her and the wind was becoming more dense, especially around the monster. Her left hand shot out toward Yusake while her right hand remained in front of her chest. The ground around the boy cracked and a small isle of ground shook free of its home with Yusake atop it. It jetted upward and then a strong cross breeze crashed across it and threw Yusake in the air far now to the side and then caught him and cradled his form. As the earth had shot up Scytheress's right hand closed suddenly into a fist and the air around Citedal compressed, each molecule of air compressing in on him to rip through every pore or opening in its body, some trying ot create holes of their own to shoot through. These particles would tear through it and drag out blood leaving larger gaping wound where they exited than where they entered.

Darius's thoughts was brought to a halt when he heard a screech. He then saw himself, being ripped apart by...his other half...

"What the! What the hell's going on!"

Then he saw himself again being ripped apart by that same entity. He even felt it this time. This was frightening but he had seen worse. Through his other half's eyes. He had seen what he had inadvertantly done. He snapped and broke through.

"Try scaring a man who has been scared his whole life..."

He then turned and saw the monster. His eyes were wide with shock. He moved backwards moving to the defensive.

The creature tilted and turned its head to the side, its shriek turning suddenly into an audible scream once more. And though Scy did manage to save Yusake, the damage still was present on his face. But he was still very conscious and aware, his eyes staring almost blankly up at the creature which now turned itself to Scy. Her many bullet like shots striking against its body...and indeed it bled, but they did not rip or tear through it as she had expected. In fact...the wind under Yusake slowly died down, as did the wind cutting into it. It seemed to almost flow toward Citedal, the beast...and whisp away. Crackling, black sparks replaced the wind against its body, though that did nto mean the effect was any less present. Its body bled heavily with the surface wounds, and only made worse when Shien's attack collided. Another loud, pained scream that changed its pitches. The wave coiled around the creature for a moment before breaking and slashing across multiple places. Yet even with the many bloody wounds present, this seemed to only fuel the beast's rage. It turned its attention to Shien and slammed its right hand down against the ground. A shockwave sent itself over the ground, splitting the ground on its way to Shien. The wave would have the impact of a large boulder hitting him, and actually luanch him into the air a few feet.

Scytheress's vision blurred around the edges and she swayed on her feet. Seeing her winds not have the devestating effect she'd hope made her growl deep in her throat, and then when her winds began to subside she hissed through bared fangs. She looked up at Yusake and took off into the air to grab him before the wind supporting him failed. Her wings beat steadilly as she held Yusake in her arms, his weight nothing to the strong poundings of her wings. She glared down at Citedal but didn't move against it. Seeing the blackness take place of her wind worried her and she increased her altitude as a precaution. To she paid no heed to the line of blood that fell from her hairline around her left eye to slide down her cheek and drip onto the boy she held.
