Jamie looked at Reese and Regina and decided he would leave them alone for awhile, and pulled out his CD player, and leaned back on his seat, listening to the music playing in his ear.

OOC: I was gonna do something interesting here, but I can't figure out what.... oh well.
"Is it bad that I appreciate my life more by listening to the three of y'all?" TNL sighed and laid back, resting his head on his crossed arms. "Well, despite it all, a pleasure to meet you Jamie, I'm TNL. ...thunder 'n lightnin..." he muttered. The van had reached the forest, that much was obvious by the trees surrounding them. "I can't imagine it'd be much longer."

Kaede put her book away and leaned foreward on the seat in front of her, "its about another 20 minutes I think" she said, "I saw the map earlier and its not too far away"

"Yes, we'll be at the area that we check in at very soon. We'll check in then take the equpiment to a rough camp site where we can rough it, so to speak. No RVs or cabins for us." Jean told the people in the large van.
"Oh good. my legs are getting cramped..." Regina sighed, trying to stretch out without kicking someone else in the van. "Anything new with you TNL? Haven't seen you much lately."

Jerrod looked at the horses and watched Noko, he looked at John and then back to the horses. "We should go then shouldn't we?" Jerrod said as he leaped onto the back of one horses.
"Yeah, i've riden a horse once before." Jerrod smirked

Rose was getting tired. If she'd known quite how long this journey was, she would have reconsidered trekking out here to follow them.
She hummed along to her music and watched the heads bobbing around in the van. Maybe I should've thought this one through a bit more.

John looked at Jerrod as they were riding towards Noko's old place. "Well I know how to ride a horse too, but it doesn't mean that I like riding them. On the way back home, I'll be borrowing someone's vehicle so we can ride home." He looked to Noko's grandpa. "Sorry, but I can't do another one of these trips back to the bus station. I wouldn't be able to walk correctly for a while. I know I'm gonna be sore once this ride is over. So what's this trip me and Noko are suppose to be going on, anyway?" John asked Noko's grandpa.

The minutes began to stretch into hours as Pietro headed out of New York, each mile feeling like an eternity from Pietro’s perceptions. If not for the fact that he was driving, he would have been muttering “Are we there yet?” in the back seat. Unfortunately, after the first few mph Wanda would likely suffocate if she were to move at the speeds Pietro could run if exposed to that environment for more than a few seconds, so this was the only viable option.
Still, this would likely prove to be an ineffective argument for why Pietro was hitting 115 mph on a 60 mph stretch of I-95 once the police cruiser appeared behind them. It would take another form of persuasion to get them to back off.
“Wanda, the big evil men behind us will probably not only try to keep us from daddy dearest, but will also attempt to take you back to the asylum. Feel free to respond however you wish.”
OOC: With any luck, I’d love for this to just sort of explode into some massive OJ-esque car chase throughout the upper Northeast ^_^ Do your worst, evil cyber sister.

TNL shifted his weight, "Not too much Regina, beyond being a bit ill. That seems to have cleared up for the most part, though." TNL smiled slyly, "I'm glad we're 'roughing' it... and the fact that I brought my wireless connection for my laptop. Roughing it without e-mail is a sin." He leaned back against the head rest and pulled out his CD player from his pack, putting in the one functional ear-piece, for the other had broken on the way up here when he dropped his CD player in the airport and somebody accidently stepped on it. He positioned it in his ear and hit the Play button, and suddenly and ear-shattering music lit up the van. Almost as quickly, it went away, and TNL looked flushed. "Errr.... sorry, I've been trying to focus the sound so that I get it in both ears, but I haven't quite got it down yet.....yeah, sorry."

Regina laughed after the music had faded away. "Roughing it without e-mail is a sin? Maybe for you, but I haven't messed around with a computer in years. Nobody to talk to so no reason."
She relaxed next to reese's protective form. "Roughing it...This is going to be an adventure in itself just without all the fighting."

TNL shrugged, "I didn't use to use the internet very often, but now that I've moved up here I tend to send a lot of e-mails with some of my friends back in Texas." He looked out the window and watched the trees pass, "I use to live near a forest, a fairly large forest, though not quite this scenic. Roughing it has never been too hard. Talk about roughing it, I once went on a trip with my grandfather where I made a bow, carved some arrows, and hunted for my own food. After getting a nice rabit, which was hellishly hard, my grandpa pulled out some hot dogs. That was bad."

"Stop taking me for an idiot! It's your fault if they want to arrest us! You drive too fast!"
She sighed, frustrated of being stuck with an overly impatient caffeine-dependant brother, and turned around to take care of the police car. She focused and the tires of the car exploded, taking the car into a telephone pole. "There. Satisfied now?"
Only too soon there was fifteen police cars after them. "Something tells me they know we're mutants." said Wanda. She groaned and continued: "They really want to have trouble. Get us out of here! The last thing I want is publicity from the media! Father will know we're planning something if he sees us on tv!"
OOC: My cyber brother wanted a car chase, he has it now. smile Have fun before I make Wanda kick the cars into the river. razz
