Jake had waited for his class to gather on the bleachers behind him before leaving his weapon's pieces on the floor. Standing in front of them he eyed each and every one of them before speaking. "Okay...so most of you know I have a duel at the end of the day with..uhh...the ******** who's our Dean. So if you all know, shut the ******** up and stop gossiping about it before I put a bullet in your head." It was an empty threat but the disassembled Mk. 23 pistol with a loaded magazine on the floor in front of him did a lot of good as far as visible threats went.
There was a pause until the sound of basketballs being dribbled broke the silence. Prior turned slightly and watched Rio shoot some hoops, apparently doing his own thing, much like Jake had done to countless amounts of teachers in his school days just to piss them off. But...well...because Jake had done it for that sole purpose, Rio's attempts, if he were attempting, wasn't very effective.
Jake waved towards Rio. "And if you all haven't noticed that we have a new student...well...we do." The gossiping started up again. The teacher rolled his eyes. Within half a second, balls of water the size of his fist hit every single student who were gossiping soaking them in water that seemed to resemble slime more than anything. "Yes, it's the one I almost killed, and yes I'm a heavy drinker. And yes I know how to kill the whole lot of you including half the school before your good headmaster comes out to stop me. Any more gossiping?" He half lied...he could...he'd die in the process...and his actions would have been in vain considering there were a few other experts in the Advanced level of water within the school, one of which being the school Doctor.
Wide eyes and slowly shaking heads. Good...exactly what I was going for "So! Our lesson of the day: Defending yourself without causing bodily harm to your opponent." Jake said aloud plopping down on the floor to assemble his pistol. "I'm assuming everyone in here is at the advanced phase of the beginning level, seeing as how you wouldn't have been able to do anything yesterday if you weren't."
The students shrugged. They didn't know what Jake was talking about when it came to levels. Most were categorizing themselves by the school's system. Their teacher seemed to have a better understanding of it. "You'll have to make groups of four. Their should be enough of you that there are only one element in each group. So...get to it."

Phenia spotted Chyna sitting at the desks and waved over to her before sitting down on the mat. Amir sat down and made himself comfortable on the blue mat. He was sitting in between Phenia and Tsuki, shifting around when he noticed that Tsuki was almost mirroring his movements. Shifting slightly to left as he put his bag down, hmmm, no leaning to the right to check the door, yep. He concluded that Tsuki was reflecting his movements, and it made the corner of Amir’s lip twitch with amusement. He tried out some other shifting about and even, just for fun, scratched his nose, but smiled inwardly since Tsuki didn’t scratch her nose as well.
Then Phenia purposely leaned her head slightly on Amir’s shoulder. It had not gone under her radar that Tsuki had some affection gravitating towards Amir. Phenia had been watching carefully, she wasn’t going to let history repeat itself. That dreadful time when the prince’s heart was broken by a wicked princess. Phenia’s wish for Amir’s well being was sincere and she would test any girl, as she had done with Amir’s fan club, to make sure that the person proved herself worthy of Amir’s affections and attentions. He was too nice for his own good and usual overextended himself to accommodate the needs of all the students. His heart, though pure and good, was broken once. Now Amir finally picked up all the shattered pieces and put them back together. But it was like putting a broking mirror back together, it would never be perfectly fixed. Phenia would test Tsuki, something she should have done before. Tsuki didn’t look like the type who would break Amir’s heart. Rather, Tsuki’s heart may be more fragile, but Phenia was fooled the first time by the wicked princess, and did not want to make the same mistake. Then again, practically everyone was fooled and danced to her whim, like puppets with strings. Manipulated by Cynisca, Amir’s ex-girlfriend, and the girl who looked like an angel with a heart of gold, but deep down inside was twisted and bent so much that she could make hell freeze over if she wished. She was only using Amir to get to Nicolas. When the Dean pushed her away, Cynisca plotted her revenge and poisoned Drake’s mind. Warping it, so he turned against his older brother, whom he already loathed. Cynisca disappeared, leaving everyone to pick up the mess. Amir’s broken heart, Drake in coma, Liriale unconscious, and Nicolas, gone too, though Phenia always wondered if he tried hunting Cynisa down, to bring her back and explain everything.
Phenia’s blood pressure was rising and Amir could feel her anger. “You alright?” he whispered concerned. “Huh?...oh yeah. I’m fine. Everything is Okay Dokay!” She grinned reassuringly and Amir smiled back, then turned to Tsuki at her question. “Well, as to what we will be doing today, I think finishing up our lesson about Gryphons…and according to the book we should be talking about Hippogryphs.” Amir answered. Phenia, whose head was still resting against Amir’s shoulder, tilted her head to look towards Tsuki. A sly smile crept over face. ‘Let the game begin’, she thought. But just then Leah strode into the room. Calm and collected as ever she greeted everyone with a, “Hello class,” before making her way to the window and peering outside. “Oh, here they come.” Leah moved to the side in time as Zephrine zoomed through, closely followed by a squawking Elfida. Both whizzed around the classroom before Zephrine settled on Leah’s right shoulder and Elfida landed on the mat. Behind Phenia, Amir, and Tsuki.
“Alright,” Leah clapped her hands then added. “Today we will be finishing up on Gryphons before we introduce our next Air elemental creature. So far we have covered the species of Gryphons, their habitat, varied diet, and how large they grow. Now we will cover their origination and main personality trait. Gryphons are from Greece and date back many centuries B.C. Gryphons are symbols of justice, guardianship, and protection. They are intelligent, vigilant, and represent loyalty. I hope everyone is taking notes because these will be on the exams after each element category is covered. Any questions?” Leah asked.

Smiling as her teacher entered the room, Chyna slipped her notebook and pencil out of her bookbag. Elfida and Zephrine swooped into the classroom. Chyna smiled inwardly at the bird-like animals. Her attention snapped back to her teacher as she gave a slight amount of information. She nodded and quickly wrote notes.
• Gryphons orig. Greece • Date back many centuries BC • Symbols of justice, gaurdianship, & protection • Intelligent, vigilant, rep. loyalty
She added the notes onto her previous ones, and nodded when Leah announced that there would be an exam after the element category. This time, she did not have any questions to ask. She read over her notes again, wondering if they would suffice for a study guide. She sighed and studied the two animals, watching them play and tease eachother. She giggled quietly at the two. They seemed to always be butting heads, but the Gryphon in a more affectionate way. (( Team Durem rox yo soxx off fo sho. xD )) (( {Team Durem rocks your socks off for sure!} )) (( ...that was incase yall didn't get me and my gangsta words. x) ))

[[Hello everyone, I've returned...]]
Emma gave a soft cry once. Her eyes fluttered, then she winced wholly. The dimmed lighting of the medical room was too bright for her now highly sensitive eyes. She could sense that not much time had passed, then she was okay...for now anyways. She hoped this would be her only experience with this illness. Not likely, but a girl can dream. Right. One day she could get married, and be happy without the Angels. Right when mutants get elected President of the United States. She sighed a bit, even that hurting her chest. She could feel her magic feeling over controlled, how odd, she had never heard of such a reaction to this illness, and she had been it's researcher. This was looking bad, or perhaps it was another disease. Yes that had to be it.

Jin merely smirked as Jake talked. It was something he had expected from him. So, to be on the safe side, Jin was a good 10 feet away from the group that were on the bleachers, and was still standing. He listened carefully, nodding and watching as the students got splashed with watery slime. He suppressed a chuckle, wondering why they kept talking while the teacher was trying to talk. They could talk else where. And Jin didn't want to waste his time hearing the students talk when he could be training. Upon hearing Jake state the days lesson, he thought for a moment. Defending with out causing bodily harm. Evading was one way. Along with control of the elements, he could simply push his opponents/enemies away from him. But, he figured Jake had something in mind that would make such an easy lesson hard. He always did. Unless it was running around the track, but that when when he allowed Jin to come up with his own way to make it hard. At Jakes request on making a group, he waited as everyone grabbed their friends for grouping. He would see what he was left with and just go on from there.

Suddenly, two students from the back of Jake's class slipped out. Minutes later, two men in ashen robes approached the class, walked up to Jake, and retrained him. The men spoke in unison, their voices in a deadly whisper.
"You are under arrest for attempted murder without a warrant, possession of a non-magical weapon within school boundaries, and threatening a minor." was all they said before disappearing in a puff of smoke. The two students who had disappeared earlier returned with embarrassed looks on their faces. They had left and told a teacher, fearing for their safety.

] Tsuki's bliss of sitting next to Amir had been broken when Phenia had decided to rest her pretty little head on Amir's shoulder. No longer did her body mimic Amir's. It chose to remain frozen in jealousy. Her mind scanned everything she knew about Amir, Phenia, and them as a couple. 'Couple, that must be it. They're probably boyfriend and girlfriend...' she figured out, tying a knot in her stomach. Even Amir's smooth voice did nothing to loosen the pain. She gave a half-hearted nod in response.
As Leah started to talk, Tsuki got out her notebook and pen as usual, but her moves were slower, so by the time Leah had asked for questions, Tsuki had barely written a word. She choose instead to begin to draw. The black ink left its first mark on the paper in a circle that would some become the head for a raggedy doll that was stitched up and beaten.

Jin's eyes widened as two men in robes entered the class and took hold of Jake. Jin was shocked, unable to move as they spoke his arrest, and then vanished with the smoke. Even then, Jin was shocked. His attention on where Jake was standing not more then a minute ago, was broken when in the corner of his eye, he picked up two figure entering the class room. Two students. Jin's anger rose, closing his eyes and clenching his fists. You got to be ******** kidding me!!!! For the love.... You little cowards... Like Jake would openly harm a student... And with a modern weapon... Unless he had enchanted it, it wouldn't be able to hurt anyone, especially an air bender. The vibrations of a fast moving projectile to the bender would cause his or her subconscious to react and bend the path of the bullet, sending it to either side fearing it was a threat. They still didn't know anything about their elements. It could react on it's own.... Or... maybe it was just his. He had never witnessed anyones element act on it's own, to protect the bender from any unsuspecting actions. It... probably was just him.... Either way. Now what? The class is canceled? Or will the headmaster be subbing again? Which, Jin wouldn't mind it at all. He loved the headmaster as a father. Sense his own father was never around, due to being on business trips and such, the headmaster was the closest thing to a father he had. But, the reason he liked Jake, was that he always made everything a challenge. Sometimes, almost impossible. He remembered times where he would leave gym almost exhausted and felt like passing out due to the training and lessons he put the class through. But, after resting, either sleep or just sitting against the wall outside the gym, Jin felt himself strengthen, helping him to further push himself and become practically top of his classes. Hard work and determination. But now what? Jins anger was slowly showing as the air around him twirled around his body like he was about to make a tornado around himself. His eyes were gray and glowing, his fists clenched so hard he could feel his nails being to dig into his own flesh. Without saying a word, Jin turned, and left the class and exited the gym. Once the door closed, he released a force of air, which pushed debri and dust into the air around him, sending small rocks flying over 50 yards in every direction. A few hitting the door, making little sounds like rain hitting a tint roof echo in the gym. The grass about a foot around his feet had been ripped out by the explosion of the force, leaving nothing but dirt. "Cowards... No trust in your teachers what so ever...." Jin whispered, letting his clenched hand open, revealing marks where his nails almost broke flesh. Exhaling deeply, he closed his gray glowing eyes and just pushed everything back in his mind to calm himself. He knew that if he let his emotions take over, they would be calling the robed men on him with in seconds. For the next minute, Jin tilted his head back, having it face the sky and opened his eyes. They returned to their normal color of brown, and his energy settled to normal.
Now what?

Emma could feel the tension that held most of the school. She wondered what could be causing such a thing, the Headmaster was quite good at keeping all the students happy. This couldn't be over her sickness, it was too extreme, even for her own students. Even though it hurt to do so, she released her magic, allowing a soothing breeze to touch the nervous staff, and students. Each second longer she held it, the pain grew, but her duty was first to the school, then to herself. She eventually sealed her magic again, and laid back down.

Captain Jacques Seeker sighed as he approached the school. As he walked he pulled his black back into a low, loose ponytail. He hated this part of his job, but it was needed. In the back of his mind, he wondered if this was the school that Nicolas had mentioned, he couldn't be sure. Attempted murder at the biggest university in the area, that was never good news. The Headmaster must be pulling his hair out. Jac smirked to himself, thinking of his old tutor when he misbehaved. Truthfully, he'd rather be out looking for his fiance, but he needed to settle a bit, recontact his family, etc. He fingered the shark tooth around his neck lightly, the tooth that Nicolas had pulled from his leg after he had been bitten. The next day, he'd been surfing again. He pushed open the school's doors, and extended his magic to alert the Headmaster, and Dean to his prescene. Now, to wait...s**t, he hated waiting.

Nicolas felt a familiar presence on the grounds of the University. Gingerly placing the cup of tea down on the table he smiled to his friend and said. "Please don't trouble your self Elle. I'll go see who our visitor is." Maybe a new face will ease Nic's thoughts on the past events. When he opened the door of the Headmaster's office, he was met by a cool calming breeze. Taking in a deep breath, Nic let all his worries melt away, and even smiled as he realized who to thank for the caring tendrils of air that brushed away his stress.
Putting his hands in his pockets he made his way to the foyer of the building where he saw....! "Jac!! Jacques Seeker! You little devil! You didn't tell me you were coming!....wait....a Magical Law Enforcer is supposed to be here....and you are here....and....JAC! You are the Enforcer?!" Nic exclaimed in surprise. He didn't picture Jacques as one in Law. But then again they were having too much fun surfing excellent swells in Honolulu, save for the shark, that Jac never had the chance to explain the interesting facets of the Magical Law field and all the procedures that come in tow. But who cares! His buddy was the one chosen to check out the school, what a lucky chance, Nic grinned

Jac grinned madly. So this was Nic's school. Well, his job just got a lot more fun. "Of course I didn't. Protocol, my friend. Yup, I Enforce all laws, stupid or not, though between us, it's more stupid than anything else." So, Nicolas was in schooling, that's strange s**t. Ah well, it was good to see his friend. "So, the idiots in charge barely let me know what happened, how can I help this fine school? Never mind the fact that the Headmaster is crazy to hire you," He teased.

Nicolas pouted and said very diva-like, "Darling, I think everyone is crazy to HAVE me." He smiled. Then let out a sigh as he mentally reviewed the chaotic events. He didn't even know how much to divulge. It would have to be the Headmaster's call. But from the Ministry notice, Nic assumed it would mainly be centered around Rio's near fatality and Jake's ruse with his pistol. Being a magical school did not allow rules to be more lenient, actually they were more stricter. "Well, where it begin. Were you debriefed about Jake Defi Prior?" the Dean asked.
