Biohazard EXTREME
I remember me and my friend decided to beat Zelda Ocarina of Time together, (because awesome games with puzzles and stuff are more fun beating with 2 minds). So we're playng. Then he falls asleep around the time Link becomes an adult. Then he wakes up and I tell him, "I just beat the fire temple." It was funny.
And yes, Zelda IS an RPG.

Yes, yes, Zelda is an RPG, because it's one the many genres in the main category of Action-Adventure. We already agreed to this. But even though I acknowledge this for argument's sake, it'll always be an Action-Adventure game series to me, which is why it isn't included in the end RPG run.

@Notte: Yeah, FFXII will probably only be a once play for me, even if it's not worth that one run.

Yeah, I'm giving up a lot of RPGs lately. Mostly because Disgaea 2 is coming out on PSP next week and I'm broke, so I need some stuff to sell off. So I'll be getting rid of my Crimson Gem Saga, and Star Ocean 2 for PSP. As well as a few other games. As difficult as it is to part with some of them, I have my priorities. And freeing some room on my shelf for this fall's lineup will be nice too.

You'll probably be able to re-purchase your PSP games you're selling digitally once the new PSP comes out. 3nodding

Yeah, maybe. If I'm making money. But I don't think I'll bother with Star Ocean, and a few of the ones I haven't beaten. There's just way too many games out there on my priority list.

And I gave up on Star Wars The Force Unleashed. I mean, I know George Lucas tends to screw up storylines, but giving Princess Leia a british accent... Way to Capcom it up.

It will consume your life, and then you'll get gamer blue balls because there's no storyline. *sigh*

Yeah, get rid of it now. In fact, try and find a sucker who will trade one of the Persona games for it.

I didn't like XII, but I will try out XIII when it comes out. The summons look awesome so far.

See, I liked the summons in XII. The design and concept anyway. They were utterly useless and did nothing but deteriorate any functionality my gambit system had.

Yeah, well, FFXIII actually looks half-promising. I mean, the battle system is what it should be. The storyline is about a badass super soldier chick. As long as she doesn't fall in love and become all girly half-way through the storyline, it's gonna be fine...
Although this IS Final Fantasy... Yeah, I bet you anything she's gonna fall in love with the girliest man in the game...
It's gonna be Valkyrie Profile all over again... Great...

Well, I did get 20 hours into it before I stopped to play something else. It was pretty fun, to tell the truth. I didn't get as far as to obtain a summon, so I don't know what you mean when you say deteriorate the gambit system. I wasn't really getting into the story (Damn confusing dialogue), but I liked the character's and their development. The combat system was intriguing enough, and the boss battles were pretty fun. The only things that bothered me was the city grind (Taking hours to talk to everyone in the massive towns), and the music.

It's enough to at least garner it one walk through.

I was able to finally buy that game recently (VP)! I haven't played too much of it, but I was very impressed with the opening.

Ahhhh, there's nothing quite like the experience of resting at a red light as the late, great Isaac Hayes sensually sings on the radio about him wondering if everybody has seen his chocolate, salty balls as the car next to mine, filled with chicks, looks over and listens in as I bob my head up and down in a "Oh yeah, baby" manner, and getting a wonderful reaction back. My life has been made.

Oh, sorry, didn't mean to spoil it. But yeah, the True ending in Valkyrie Profile kinda sucked. Too mushy, even for me.

"I also believe in being anti-mainstream," he stated. "One thing I hate when developing games is when asked to create a clone of an existing game from another company. Capcom does not like the idea behind this, because as a developer, the motivation would be quite low."

Oh, the irony. rolleyes

It's alright, you really didn't give that much away. I figured some kind of relationship would form, since that always happens in RPGs. razz
