"And I don't care what you do to me! I'm not calling Clark!" She said defiantly glaring at him. No way will I let this crack pot hurt my cousin, not after everything his done for me.

Cassie met Vic in the cafeteria.
" Hey Vic! Thanks for meeting me."
"No prob! Anything for a friend."
" I was hoping you would say that.."
"Uh-oh... you got that look in your eyes"
" I was hoping you could play chauffeur for the night for Wally and Dani"
" You mean in my T- Car?! No way Cassie."
" Co'mon Vic... please.."
Gives Vic a sad puppy face ..
" Okay... I'll do it. one night.."
" Great.. and please where a suit"
" What?! But why?!"
" Look.. between you and me..everyone really isn't into the no pants look."
' Oh...um... okay then"
" Great.. I gotta a few phone calls to make."
Cassie then left talking on her cell phone.

*Chris didn't know where Teddy had gotten to...or where Wallace was but he didn't want to keep imposing on them. He would just tell Wally that he was sick if asked. Yea...
Chris made his way to his own room and let himself inside. He stared dully at the place he and Cassie sat during the movie. He slowly moved across the room and climbed in his bed. He didn't know what he did or how to fix it. Maybe he shouldn't even bother trying.*

Linda looked away, she felt sick to her stomach, and slunk to the floor when 'Metallo' came even closer. Tears were welling up in her eyes.
Oh Rao, I can't take much more of this.. Someone please help me... She begged to no one. I can't let him kill all those people... but If I call Clark, he will be just as trapped as I am.
She shook her head 'no' to him, then began to weep.
"I'll call him..Give me a phone and I will." She sobbed "I'll call him... Just please get away from me..."

Cassie finished the making the phone call. It was all arranged. Dani and Wally were going to have so much fun. Cassie smiled... she was happy to be helping out her friends... wasn't she? Wally... said he thought he was falling in love with her. He meant it too... Cassie could tell... but Wally's best friend was Cassie's ex-boyfriend Chris and Cassie's best friend was Wally's ex-girlfriend Dani, who still had feelings for him.
When Wally confessed to her it forced Cassie to see the truth... the truth she already knew. She was only dated Chris to forget about Wally. When Cassie was with Chris it was like she was pretending he was Wally.... everytime they held hands, everytime they kissed, even when they... well that's best left unsaid. Still when Cassie was with Chris she was lying to herself. He wasn't Wally and Chris never would be Wally...
Cassie went to see the only person who would understand... Mysia. She looked at the elephant and started to bath her. Mysia always seemed to understand her when no one else did.

After she cleaned and fed Mysia... Cassie felt much better. Cassie took out her cell phone to call Dani. She had to make sure Dani asked Wally and that she would be dressed appropriately.

Chris approached the door with a new sense of confidence. He touched the symbol and the doors slid open . He stepped through finding himself in a long hallway as white as the room before. Along the walls were many picture frames. As Chris approached them there were two types of pictures, one set that looked like photographs, and the second looked like paintings.
The ones that looked photographic depicted scenes from Chris’ childhood. There were photos of him in the dessert outside, and other indoors with his father and mother. As he studied them his memories came flooding back. He remembered his parent’s faces, their voice , their love. He remembered training with his parents on how to fight, and how to survive the harsh environment outside.
He then began to look at the other set of pictures. The paintings mostly depicted Krypton. There were scenes of his father and mother meeting there. And many pictures depicting how they unjustly ended up in the phantom zone and who had put them there, the house of EL.
As Chris approached the end of the hall way he saw there was a rather large crack on the wall. As he stared at it he remembered that this was how it all started and a scene began to unfold before him . His parents had noticed a weak spot in the phantom zone one day. They didn’t know how or why, but this spot was showing them the outside world.
After doing many tests they determined the only person who would be able to make the journey outside would be Chris. He was of course willing to do anything to get out of the prison. Chris began to mimic the projection of himself. They both approached the crack. First they stuck their hands in wincing in pain. It hurt, but it wasn’t anything he couldn’t manage. Mustering all his strength he stepped through.
Chris’ eye’s shot open. He was outside again. Across from him was Raven. Like she had said they were still in their original spots as when this all began. From anyone looking on he looked exactly the same, but he knew something was different. He knew how he was and why he was here. He was Lor-ZOd and e had come to take revenge on the EL family.

"Date you? In case you haven't noticed, I can barley make it around you with out a sudden need to dry heave..." She glared at him, as he grabbed her.
She dials Clark's Number with shaking hands. The Kryptonite was getting to her badly, she could barley walk as Metallo was dragging her across the club to the phones.

The phone picks up.
Quickly Linda Screams into the reserver.
"CLARK! Corbin's got me!! DON"T come AFTER ME!! IT"S A TRAP!!"

" Just wanted to check in on you and see if you asked Wally out yet? Anyways we're totally a go for tonight. I got it all set up. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.. and if you want I can do your hair and makeup... It'll be perfect. Totally perfect! Promise!"
Cassie smiled... she just had fake enthusiasum about this.. her feelings for Wally ... she just had to ignore them. Dani.. was beautiful, smart, and fun she was sure Dani could make Wally happy.

Teddy had left Chris to his own misery so he could take a quick shower. He probably smelled ... not so fresh. He'd been too tired after a day of chasing Billy around and lifting people to consider taking a shower when he'd gotten home, and had passed out reeking of boy sweat.
When he came out of the bathroom, back in a clean pair of boxers and a t-shirt, Powell was nowhere to be found. He began to towel dry his hair, bending over to peek under the bed and see if he was there. "Uh...Chris?" Nope. Not there.
The closet? "Chris?"
Nope. Not there.
Teddy peeked in his sock drawer and didn't find him there either, so he got a clean pair of socks and plunked down on the bed to put them on.

Chris had a smile on his face. He felt much more confident now that he had a sense of purpose. He headed towards his dorm. There was a lot of plotting to be done if he was going to avenge his family.
