Kazuhiko nodded. "Hai hai." he answered, flitting back out.
He waited patiently, looking up at Aled. "How are you Ojiisan?"
"Better to die saving the Queen than give her to a tyrant!" the man hissed, before sliding downhill quickly.
It gave him time to rest. He was quite determined.

"Worried." Aled replied, looking to the boy. "I need to return to Tarnbsei as soon as possible, however... I'm loathe to go without Po-ar-kun. The people will respond far better to him than to myself."

But Ainsu was hot on the man's heels, diving down toward the tree tops.
At least until his dead arm twitched.
Enraged and pained, Ainsu grabbed the limb.
His ki suddenly shut down and he plummeted to the forest floor below.
Tree after Tree endured his body's limb breaking velocity, until finally, Ainsu landed on the ground, a mess of scratches and broken branches.

Kazuhiko nodded. "I could come." he suggested. "They'll like me."
The man stopped, setting Kaguyo down before attacking Ainsu.
It was a moment of weakness he couldn't pass up. Besides, he couldn't have him following him to the base. The queen had to be safe.
"I'll be a hero." he growled softly, dropkicking his shoulder. "Youma! You won't be Ou..."
Kaguyo was starting to groan, waking up. "N...nani.."

"It may be too dangerous, Kazu-kun." Aled replied honestly. "Besides, it's your otousan's decision on the matter."

Ainsu, while not unconscious, was in a massive amount of pain.
Without the elixars which Watari kept, he could do little more than curl around his throbing arm.
"Tomeru!" He shouted at the man, his eyes glowing with his anger.
But he couldn't fight back, nor could he escape.
The muse was angry...

Kazuhiko shook his head. "I wanna help." he answered. "They'll love me."
Kaguyo, however, was his one saving grace. "TOMERU!!" she cried, scrambling over.
She covered him with her body, trembling.
"Iie. We won't suffer a tyrant to live, Oujou-sama, forgive me." he pushed her out of the way
He was going to snap Ainsu's arm.
"TOMERU!" Kaguyo ordered again, attacking him. "STOP!"

"I stand by my words, Kazu-kun." Aled spoke, watching Morrigan intently, waiting for any sign of Po-ar. "It's your otousan's decision. Not mine."

Ainsu screamed when t he arm was touched, his other hand moving up to point his palm directly in the man's face.
There was a brilliant flash of light as a ki blast, one that could have easily destroyed the world itself, sprang from the playwright's hand, point-blank-range into the rebel's visage.

Kazuhiko nodded. "Da's almost done. Don't worry." he smiled softly. "He doesn't have a choice anyhow. I have to take care of people. Lots. I don't have a choice even." he smiled slightly. "That's just how it goes."
And the man was practically incinerated.
Kaguyo sat in absolute shock, having had to shield her eyes to prevent being blinded. "N..Naniyo?!!" she cried out, trembling the minute she saw the body.
The fact that it could easily be her in the man's place only frightened the s**t out of her.
"Su-kun, d-d-daijoubu k-k-k-ka?!!" she crawled over to him, shivering violently. She hadn't had the time to adjust to the weather with her wind-abilities, and she wasn't wearing much. It wasn't a big surprise.
She sought him out, hugging him tightly both for comfort and body warmth. Her head ached. "Su, Su-Su-Su-kun..."
The poor thing. It was a surprise she didn't have frostbite by now.
"S-s-s--samui...." she lamented, curling into a ball, "S-s-sam-m-m-mui....Ko-w-w-wai, i-i-itai y-yo..."
She kept as close to him as she could.

"And who will take care of your okaasan in the mean time?" Aled questioned.

Ainsu was shivering, but more out of pain than anything else.
He was clutching to his arm, trying to still the tremors.
"Kaguyo..." the playwright whispered. "Boku wa.... boku wa..." he winced, barely able to speak. "Take us back, onegai. Onegai, Kaguyo... hayaku..."

Kaguyo nodded, still shivering.
She had been focusing on surrounding them with a warm current of air that unfortunately made little storm clouds wherever they went.
On the otherhand, it kept them hidden, and it kept them warm.
As soon as they approached the palace, she went for the balcony, dragging him in and setting him close to the fire. The winds pushed the doors shut while she worked at heaping logs on the blaze.
Soon, they were both cuddled under a heap of blankets by the fire, both shivering like children.
"Daijoubu ka, S-Su-kun??" she asked softly, shivering. "Samui... samui..."
Kazuhiko blinked. "Me. Da. Who else?"

Ainsu raised a hand, pointing it at the intercom system.
But instead of calling Watari, he used his ki to short out the box.
In pain, he clung to Kaguyo, unable to say anything.
Luckily...
Shorting out the box had alerted Watari that there was something wrong with the box.
And thus...
He was on his way.

"You." Aled said softly. "You'll need to be here for her, Kazu-kun."

"I will be. I'll be everywhere at once one day." Kazuhiko smiled, hugging Morrigan gently. "One day they won't need me so much. It'll happen, won't it?"
He seemed a bit bittersweet about this. "I love them so much..."
He kept hugging her, knowing his father was in there listening. "I was so scared."
Kaguyo kept close to him, burying her head in his neck.
She was just happy to be with him, to be alive. She still hardly knew what had happened.
"W...what happened, Su-kun??" she asked gently, stroking his cheek. "What did you see when I could not?"

Ainsu was trying to focus on Kaguyo's voice alone. "They took you... Rebels... Tried to kill me and took you..."

Kaguyo frowned, shaking her head. "Don't worry, Su-kun, daijoubu..." she soothed, holding him close. "I'm here now. I'm not leaving. I'll address the public again tomorrow morning, we can't let this happen again..." she cradled him from behind, head resting next to his. "Shhhh... Aishiteru, Su-kun... Daijoubu, daijoubu... Aishiteru, aishiteru..."
She was the gentle nurturer that he had met again, the one who had inspired the muse to begin with.
She nuzzled his cheek, kissing him softly. "I'm here. Daijoubu, Su-kun.. Aishiteru... no one will ever harm us again."
Kazuhiko tilted his head. "Sooo...... you'll always need Da, too?" he asked softly, looking up at him. "No more fighting?? Ever?"

"Nani?!" Watari shouted, running into the room and skidding to a stop. "Kaguyo-chan... what happened?! You... you're both freezing!" he said, immediately opening his medical bag.
Wherein the three vials from earlier were contained.
Ainsu quickly drank them, but this time, he didn't pass out. "Kisama...." the playwright hissed, enraged at what had happened. "How dare they... They threatened my life, as well as yours, Kaguyo!"
Sighing, Watari saw to getting blankets for the couple.

Aled nodded, "No more fighting. At least not with you, Morrigan-san, or Po-ar-kun." he replied honestly. "Ainsu, at the moment, is another matter entirely."
