Paradox shook his head. "Katherine. Matachi and his troops went to free mirza. Aya is smarter than that. Her job is to find out what is happening over there. We know almost nothing about the situation. If all goes well, she won't have to fight in the slightest." Paradox said calmly, watching the sea. He sighed, "Enough people have died. I would go myself, but I can't swim. If my ship was destroyed. . . Besides, I have a bounty in Tesla."

Steel boots clanked along the the stone near the fountain, a heavily armed man wearing horrid looking armor stomped and marched over bodies going towards Matachi. Once there he just looked down at him, sliding his right boot up he pushed Matachi over onto his side against the fountain checking to see if he was dead. Matachi was really just unconscious but looked enough dead to satisfy the man, he laughed and walked away from matachi "OH what a failure weapon you created decimation." Is all he said as he walked away

She shook her head fiercely this time. Didn't they already have enough of what was her's Aya to? She looked to where she had left and then looked back to Paradox. "No i can send anyone not her. I am going to go catch her I can't have that.. I can't." She spoke as she headed away from him it was hard for her.. everything ripped a part it was hard one of the hardest things.

Paradox watched Katherine go, WIth a heavy sigh he wretched himself back to the window. After she left, Paradox let his hand rest against eh wall. "You could send as many as you would like, Katherine, but how many would die before you realized the only person who could do it was aya, or you?" He whispered, watching the waves crash against the shore over and over again. It was like the ocean was crying. Paradox had no more tears left for things so trivial, or for things much worse than such a small sacrifice. "You forget who she is. You forget. . . what she is." He said to the ocean. The general had seen her kind before, long ago, but he still remembered how they were different. There was a hollow in the wall where his hand had clawed through the stone.

Aya was packing some things in the room she was given, she had change into some regular clothes from the ones she was wearing, she had went over the documents some time ago, she had to be a merchant or find a way to get into the place without getting caught. She sigh as she look at herself in the mirror. Not in all her years has she did something that was important, she wanted to help anyway she could and she would do it. "I hope his has what i need..." she mumbled as she sat down on the bed again. Here new outfit, with the hair...

Katherine opened her door and shut it. "You can't go." She said simply when she entered the door. "I will show you why you can't if you want but Aya you can't. I will scrafice many things but i would never sacrfice you just know what is going on over there do you understand." She stood her ground her purple gaze watching her.

In tesla, a man rode up the hill on his loyal steed. The ground was marked with black scars. It was littered with the stink of death. Buzzards circled high overhead, coming down to feed on the rotting flesh. The man watched the scene with disgust. An army was camped several hills back. A man, aincent in his years, rode up behind the lord. "Fool." The gnarled old admonished. "You can't keep this up. You know that!" The old man spat, and a wad of yellow spittle splashed among the dead grass. The other man didn't look back. "I can and I will. Whoever started this, I will end it! You taught me well, fadram, and you told me that protecting the people was the most important thing." The old man slapped his forehead. "I didn't mean for you to die doing it."

Aya look up at Katherine, her eyes slowly turning hard as she stood. "Katherine..i know you care about me like family...but i need to do this..." she explained in a monotone voice as she walked over to her. "Please...i need to do something...all i done is make you worry....i have a job to do no matter what and i won't let anyone stop me. Even you can't stop me..."

"I will make a deal with you then, best me in a mock battle, if you win then go.. no tricks no powers just skill. If you win go, if you lose then you stay where I know you are safe." She spoke saddness was clouding her purple eyes. She didn't want to trick her into staying and she couldn't hold her. "If you do go worrying about you is what i will do, and he would let you die if it was for information. Not everyone is careful with the things i love here." She spoke truthfully.

Aya stare at her for a few more moments before sighing. "Fine...i do it the challenge..." she answer as she rubbed her temples. "But you need to know i won't die that easily. And you know that already...and plus, i good when it comes to running away!"

"So either way you would go even if you lost?" She spoke her voice was coated with that saddness she already held. Aya didn't need to answer that she had herd the truth in her words, or rather no lies. Her eyes fell away and she turned her back on her opening the door. She left without another word heading to her own.

Aya stare at the door for several more moments before closing her eyes. Tears filling them as she wipe them away. "I'm sorry Katherine...but i need to do my job..." she walked out of her room and headed over to the weaponry. She waited for Paradox outside the door.

The general came out of the armory. His armor was shining again, in it's metallic sheen. At least, where it found a way out of his cloak. He looked towards Aya, and sighed. "It's hard on Katherine. She never likes seeing other people get hurt, least of all, people who remind her of why she's doing all of this." He said in the silence. He shook himself. "so. . . What do you need?"

She went into her rooms the tears were already down her face. She took out one of the small knifes that were always at her thigh. She flipped it over in her hand once .. twice.. then she threw it. It stuck straight and true in the wood around the window. She was thinking about Black, Aden, Asami... even those that were missing like Sekain.. She thought about the Villa.. thought about Asami's death when they found her out there.. about Sekain sitting by her bedside when she had given up.. Matachi's words to her last.. when she had thought he was dead. She couldn't protect them it was that simple it always had been. She lived to close to them and yet they had saved her more than once. Saved her from herself placed light in her life.. Even her father.

Aya sigh as she ran a hand through her short pink hair. "A few knives, some bombs, and possibly a magic weapon..." she rush the last one as she looked at him. "And if it to help Katherine...i do anything..."
