Ashley looked at Kevin and noticed his slightly worried expression, "She's mad at Ringo, not you. She is; howerver; upset you aren't oh-so dissapointed she had to leave."

Ashley nodded, "How about we just get you your book so you can leave and swoon over courtney some more..." she said flatly.

Ashley grabbed the book and put a stamped tag in it. "Alright, just bring it back in a couple weeks." she said handing the book back to Kevin.
Courtney ran up to the information desk, completely ignoring Kevin, "Ashley! Is Kevin still here?!" she yelled panting heavily due to her long run over there.

Kevin froze as he held the book, then started slowly backing away. He then realized who Ashley was, though it took Courtney saying her name for it to click.

Ashley looked behind Courtney at Kevin, it didn't look like he wanted to talk to her. "No."
Courtney pouted, "Oh... I was hoping to see if we could try and make up for that b***h ruining things."

Kevin mouthed the word 'thanks' to Ashley, both for the service as a library worker and not telling Courtney he was there and started to hurry out as silently as he could.

Courtney put her head on the desk, "dammit."
Ashley pat Courtney on the head, "It's alright, though it might be best to wait until school..."
Courtney sat back up and turned around, "Kevin! Ashley you liar! why'd you say he wasn't here?" Courtney ran up to Kevin, "What's wrong? Why don't you want to see me?!" she yelled annoyed at her friends.
"No yelling in the library." Ashley snaped.
"Oh shut it!"

Ashley rolled her eyes. "If you don't stop yelling, you're going to have to leave. I'm not getting fired because my friend can't shut her mouth." she explained feeling completely frustrated with Courtney.
Courtney looked back in Ashley's direction, "Why are you being such a b***h?!" she yelled.
"Because you're causeing a scene in my place of employment! Now leave." Ashley pointed to the door, "Go."
Courtney looked around and realized Ashley was right, "Okay... you're right. Come on Kevin let's go talk about this somewhere else..."
"Kevin can't leave, his cards expired, he has to renew it. It takes a while. He'll just have to call you later, sorry.

Courtney didn't fully believe what she was told, but she decided not to think too much into it. "Um... okay. Just call me when you get home Kevin." she said leaving.
Ashley waited a few minutes to make sure Courtney was really gone. She got up and looked out the door. "Alright, she's gone. It's safe to leave if you want." she said.
