in other news, on saturday, 3 bottles of bleech exploded in the back of the truck, so we had to stop unloading the truck... one person coughed up blood! XD

I'm pretty good at playing, but I haven't had much inspiration lately, and without having a band/purpose to play things I don't really bother learning anything anymore cause it just seem to be a waste of time without anyone else to play with, or really anyone to play for.
well, at least no one died! XD
I've been playing borderlands a lot. but I know that If I start again, i won't remember to check back in, so i'm waiting until the activity dies down, lol.

I've been trying to learn songs on the piano that people can sing along to, because I have this monthly friendly get together I go to where we have intellectual discussion and eat food and sing together, and it'd be nice if I could contribute to the accompaniment. smile

the thing is its not just an FPS, its an RPG,w hat they don't mention is your damage is based off a combination of equipment and level, so if your a higher level then the enemies, they deal less damage to you and you deal more to them, 1 level makes a big difference, and 2 - 3 makes a HUGE difference. So I think if you played, as long as you did all of the extra quests for the extra experience, you'd be fine, the first boss is kinda difficult if your the same level or lower, but if you kill a lot and do extra quests you can be 2 levels higher and just mop the floor, and if you keep up the quests you can breeze through.
I actually don't do many quests because I want to keep the challenge in the game, so in order to actually stay on par with the story missions I can't do very many side quests.
I'd recommend either playing as lillith or brick for the first time. brick = tank, lilith's ability makes her invisible so if you find yourself getting over whelmed you can just go invisible and escape.

too.No, I mean, I'm not good at pointing and shooting in the first person. x3 Doesn't matter if it's a different kind of FPS, I'm just not good at that kind of game mechanic, it's not how my brain works. But that does sound very cool. biggrin

lol, then just use a rocket launcher! no one needs to aim with rocket launchers! XD
while I could see aiming being an issue on a console, I'm playing the PC version, so aiming is controlled by the mouse, so aiming is as easy as clicking a desktop icon... (well if it were a moving desktop icon, lol)
