"Poor little one," Kaen laughed, putting her arms around him and giving him a hug. "Perhaps you're just having to get used to having missed growing up to this size gradually. I know I would have hated to go from being a kit to being an adult so quickly."
"You can join us, Lily," she said, smiling at the young woman and patting the stool next to her.

Guan continued to sit quietly, not wanting to interrupt a conversation about people he didn't know.

Lily sat in the indicated seat, smiling at Kean. Then she looked to Kaden and sighed. "I think you're older than me now..." she murmured mournfully, then smiled at him warmly. "But still... and... males giving you problems, hm?" the teen asked, forming her own idea of the 'problem'.

"..L-lily-sama! you can join us.." He nodded to her and smiled as kean patted the seat next to her.
"It's..just a tad werid..I..I can't seem to get this right,," He looked at his hands and sighed,"..Well I don't what youbo-san and Ossan where talking about when they said Toto-san was acting strange for a while now, But I don't ponder on what's wrong even though.." He paused and smiled at Kean softly."..I want to understand...somthing is telling me to go into her room though.."He said softly and looked at the stairs."..I think I will go and sleep for a while though, I wish I wasn't so tired." He nodded quickly before standing up and bowing before Kean and then waving happily to lily. "..Lily-sama, I..I'll be down tomorrow, maybe you can help me a bit." He said slowly and smiled at her, before taking off towards the stairs, his tail fallowing silently behind him.

"Good night, Kaden. I'm just down the hall if you need me," the kitsune called, watching him, then turned to Lily. "There seems to be an interesting trend of people growing up quickly, isn't there?" she said, referring to Lily's own age shift.

"Goodnight Kaden!" Lily called, then laughed and nodded to Kaen. "It would appear so. Though... I wish he could have stayed young longer... he didn't have anything really forcing it. I know that sometimes I wish that I could have been a child longer. Arlen is one of the only reasons I don't regret it."

Guan chuckled softly. "It's a sad thing to see a child forced to grow up, but it is also a neccessary thing."

"I was forced to grow up, but more-so because of tragedy.....but I know to age physically quickly must be harder," she said reaching for a peach and taking a small bite. "I'm sure Arlen is glad that you are older as well, though I do miss taking care of you."

Lily blushed a little, then nodded. "I expect he is glad at that... though it probably weirded him out at first." she added, sticking out her tongue. "And I miss being taken care of... and playing with Rose."

"When I learned about Kai and Darren, it surprised me a bit at first, but I realized that I loved him no matter how hard he tried pushing me away," she said, playing with the bracelet Kai had given her so long ago.

Guan nodded. "We can not change the past, and if Kaden is to start his adulthood now it would be foolish to try and stop it and pointless to spend much time grieving over it."
"That happens all too often," he said to Kaen. "Arlen went through something like that himself."
At that moment, Arlen began his slow journey down the staircase, wrapped up in the blanket from Lily and his room so it was covering his head, and stumbling slightly.

"I know that." Lily whispered to Guan, then went deep into her own thoughts for several moments before sighing and shaking her head. Then she looked to the stairs and saw Arlen, smiling as she jumped up and crossed to him. "Morning love." she greeted before wrapping her arms around him. "Are you still cold?"

Kaen tilted her head as she looked at Arlen and Lily, smiling very softly. "Well, I'd love to talk with you all some more, but I need to get some rest," she said, getting up from her stool.
