It was an okay movie.
Two hours of eye candy. Otherwise not worth it.

Well, the biggest plus is that it is one of the few war movies that doesn't depict battle scenes by rattling the camera in random directions to give the impression of a chaotic effect. Such attempts tend to fail, and it instead gives the impression that the producers just stuck it in a washing machine full of warriors.

I didn't like that movie at all... just lots of gore and the guys weren't even that attractive. I got bored after the first fight scene.

Helps to know that it was most obviously a guy movie. :B The beefcake was just for depicting Spartans.

...and, actually, Spartans were historically much beefier than even that. Imagine men so muscular that their EYEBROW MUSCLES can break tough-as-iron chains.

<_<; Granted, it was an olympics participant who was recorded to be able to do such a thing, but, he was still Greek and still was raised kind of like a Spartan.

you know what amazes me the most of the movie...
the way the slaughter gazillions of ppl and werent even covered witha drop a blood or dirt for that matter...
