sweatdrop H...Happy anniversary. So old!! Yeesh, has it really been that long? Of course it has...I'd like to think we've all come a long way from where we started. It's been fun! There are still a lot of stories and character conversations that I go over once in a while between us all.
Thirteen years though...that's half of my life! To think there are still so many more stories I want to write out with y'all. Here's to uh...10 more years? Will we be teaching our kids to properly build RP profiles? xD

So as I will be expanding the number of known locations in HvH very soon, I wonder why we keep them locked up in the guild?
Seriously, we have a great, albeit short list, of many locations in HvH that would enrich the setting.
Events matter because of locations.
Locations matter because of history.
History matters because it is tied to people, their actions, and the significance of those actions on future generations.
If we want our actions to have any significance, we need to incorporate the history of HvH in them. To do this, we need to start tying people and events to specific locations.
In short, the question I am trying to ask here is this: How do we get new people to care about the very, very, VERY long history this Roleplay has had?

That's a great question. One we're still passively trying to figure out. We have the locations in a different forum because newbies were initially overwhelmed and didn't want to read through everything. So we minimized the chance of that by simplifying the main forum.
With that said, I think maybe we can spark interest by having events that tie in older locations/events. Nothing too big but something to make people want to explore deeper into the HvH verse.

Thanks, it's really good to be back (even if it's somewhat infrequent at the moment due to being in the middle of moving across the country). It feels great to have a creative outlet besides music again. We should definitely set something up, I've been particularly inspired lately.

Hey ya'll.
Update in my life, I was involved in a car accident and have been in the hospital the last week and a half. I fractured my L4 and L5 and my Sacrum (All lower spine) and have some brain swelling and such, but I am now home and doing much better. Considering the shape my car was in I'm rather blessed to be alive still, and the fact that I sustained extremely minor injuries considering is also a good thing.
Full recovery will probably be 6-8 months, but getting back to normal functioning life where I can go back to school and work and all that will hopefully be in less than 3 months.
