Seph smirked watching Chobi kweh loudly at the strange creatures in front of her trying to communicate with them "I bet she's seen them before but never wandering around this high in numbers. I bet Barbaros would love a place like this with all the machinery and all left lying around on the street like that" she whispered noticing the furniture shop some of her friends had visited the day before followed by a big rainbow coloured stall selling kupo nuts.
Hebal also giggled ushering a small group of elf tourists towards the stall "Now Zadina put your cutest looking face on for the ladies here" she whispered rubbing her hands together "The airship is actually silent by about 4 to 5 am in the morning. Sometimes earlier still depending on what time we arrive or when Alpha is feeling too tired to go on without a few hours sleep. If you want I can get you some ear plugs to help you with the noise" she offered cheerfully.

Oassu smirked impressed by Felina's knowledge "Whats that extinct race you know the language of? Forgotten languages can be useful since I hear those old civilisations leave behind quite a lot of treasure with puzzles for getting at them" he said thinking over the possibilities.
Gil frowned "Seems kinda harsh, I'd think a ninja village would be all about gathering secrets and information" he said pausing to finish his food "Still I didn't know you skipped a few years" he grinned "Are you like a ninja prodigy then or something?" he said sipping the wine Satoshi poured him.
Mari giggled "Aww theres nothing wrong with the ground besides it might be hard to land an airship on the mountain you know?" she said "But why do you spend so much time away from the mountain anyway? Isn't that your main job" she said helping Sophia climb onto her shoulder.
Itaka smiled "I can imagine that, still what is it we're looking for here" he said ducking under a small archway designed for moogles listening to the assorted "kupo's" from the surrounding population "Chobi just needs to find a nice friendly moogle who likes Chocobo's thats all" he said stepping to the side to let a moogle couple through the arch.
Zadina giggled "Aren't Viera earplugs odd looking? Still why do you wake up at night if you are wearing earplugs?" he asked putting some effort into thinning a dress for a near-anorexic elf in the group.

Seph waited for the crowd of moogles to move through the arch before guiding Chobi through the uncomfortably small space for a chocobo "I don't think we are looking for anything in particular. I just wanted to explore the city a little more but we can always look around at some of the stores... I like that thing in there" she added indicating to a metal sculpture of a moogle riding a chocobo.
Hebal paused trying not to form a frown at the size or rather lack of size in the dress after Zadina's spell "They do look a little funny because of the size but I guess I don't like being asleep too long cause it wastes a day. And sometimes I get too warm and thirsty and need the ladies room and other little things like that" she shrugged.

Felina raised her eyebrow at Oassu suspecting he was already making plans of a future adventure in his head "It wasn't an extinct race. It was one the humans spoke on Mari's continent before they got invaded and her language was enforced but I can't guarentee they were people to keep lots of treasure hidden away. It's been of no use to me so far" she muttered skipping down each step two at a time once the staircase was wide enough again for two people.
Satoshi blushed a little gulping down about a quarter of her glass "Yeah I was somewhat gifted when it came to forming jutsu. They are all for information gathering when its not about your friends. The higher ups have a file on everyone but if a standard ninja starts asking too many questions it's a sign of distrust which is seen as the worst thing you can feel over jealousy and rage and the rest" she explained pretending not to notice she had dropped some of her food.
Yusti nodded extending her arm out to pet Sophia then Ivy so the spirte wasn't going ignored "Yeah it is my main job but it works on a seasonal basis. I am there all day everyday during hunting season, then I help out here for a bit more cash then I have to go catching all the fiends and stuff for the next season which requires a good few thousand.

Itaka smiled observing the trinket in the window "Want to buy it? Could make another nice addition to your growing collection of junk in your house" he said bending down to look in the moogle-sized window at the other trinkets "I keep forgetting moogles have a good history of chocobo knights and being good with animals." he said.
Zadina nodded "So long as you don't wake miss Mari, I know how excitable and loud you can be." he said playing with Hebal's ear "I hope Amane grows up to be just like you Miss Hebal" he said.
Oassu sighed "Oh well I was hoping we could go on a nice little treasure hunt there, coulda been great fun with puzzles and traps and stuff" he chuckled "Still I didn't know moogles had their own language? I thought they just spoke Agralian with added Kupos" he chuckled enjoying the sound
Gil nodded "Wow heh guess the bond of trust and friendship is more important to ninja than secrets and information," he said happily "Still it's nice to know your such a prodigy ninja" he chuckled "I knew you weren't just any run-of-the-mill ninja" he said.
Mari frowned "Why is it hard to catch them? Don't you just need a good beastmaster or a really big net?" she asked helping Sophia clamber onto her shoulder while Ivy fly onto Yusti's shoulder. "I mean can you really catch giant behemoths and stuff all by yourself?" she asked impressed.

Seph smiled shaking her head at Itaka "Nah I think I'll give it a miss at that price. It's kinda a lot of money for something thats going to just be collecting dust in one of my rooms. Plus it's not the same if you buy it rather than find it" she answered tying Chobi to the outside post seeing that no animals were allowed inside "Still lets check the place out, there may be other cooler stuff inside"
Hebal giggled patting Zadina on the head "I don't want her to grow up like me, I want her to grow up all super and unique! But don't be like that, I wouldn't wake Mari up and I'll have you know I can be very very quiet when I wanna be. It's just that silence can be so boring an uneventuful" she giggled almost shouting the last sentence.

Felina laughed giving Oassu a pat on the shoulder "Hehe I think you have been reading too many stories. not all treasure hunts involve puzzle solving and booby traps. Some just require you to read stuff off a map and follow instructions. The moogles language is dying out too actually since so many people are learning Agralian as a second language... I guess some of my studies were a bit of a waste thinking about it"
Satoshi grinned concentrating on chopping up her food "Trust is very important to a team of ninjas. Assuming everything goes perfectly smoothly you'll be working with your team for days at a time from the day you graduate to the day you all retire, though in my team the only one I have worked with since I was 7 is Ranmaru. If you can't trust your team or vice versa then your pretty much doomed" she sighed using her foot to pet Enkidu under the table "So what made you think I wasn't a run-of-the-mill ninja?"
Yusti paused for a second tickling Ivy with her little finger "It's posible to capture one by yourself with the right equipment and I do have some beast masters employed. The problem is a lot of fiends such as behemoths need to be gathered in bulk which is incredily time consuming. No point advertising them being there if theres only enough for one fighter to take on and all"

Oassu sighed "Coulda still had some nice rare things you know?" he said "There's good looting to be had of old civilisations but oh well" he said stepping out at the bottom of the stairs so they could go side by side "But I bet they aren't all a waste and what does Moogle language go like?" he asked.
Gil laughed "Well you always seemed very talented to me, and I've fought a few ninja in my time, there was this one baron who had hired a squad of mercenary ninja, they were a hassle to deal with so I kinda had a hunch you were above average having seen you fight, besides I bet not many ninja can summon leviathan" he chuckled.
Mari frowned "Everytime I've known our group take on a Behemoth it's taken maybe 2 or 3 people maybe we're not quite good enough to try your arena yet if they are going to be one on one with a behemoth....still I bet it'd be great fun so long as I don't have to beat up any really nice fiends who like me" she said watching as Ivy squirmed before emitting a high pitched laugh.
Itaka nodded giving Chobi an uneasy glance as she was still kwehhing and headbutting moogles for a response "Alright but not too long, don't want Chobi winding up in trouble" he said ducking inside "Also be careful with your tail this moogle shop is a lot smaller than our standard shops" he groaned as he realised he'd have to hunch permanently inside.
Zadina shook his head "Silence allows me to concentrate and work my magic properly, apparently it was a practice at my old school to put struggling pupils in isolation while they practised a spell they were struggling with since the silence allowed them to focus more." he explained.

Seph turned around checking to see if Itaka was ok with the doorwar height considering she was only just big enough to walk around without having to bend down "You ok with this height, if it gets too much to put up with don't feel you have to stick around for me. But relax about the tail, I can keep it under control and out of time withthe only possible rish being someone tripping over it as usual" she reassured him checking out the rest of the sculptures.
Hebal smiled nodding her head slightly "Well thats all well and good for elves shielded away in forests but at the end of the day all that does is set you up for trouble in real situations. A good mage is able to concentrate with all the noise going on around them. Afterall they have to be able to remember and focus all the magic in their spells in everyday surroundings and battlefields which aren't in the least bit quiet" she lectured somewhat proud of herself for having something super knowledgable to say.

Felina looked around blushing slightly before letting out a series of squeaks that was apparently in moogle language "That believe it or not meant hello I'm Felina and this is the awesome Oassu" she translated turning more red when she realised people were staring at her "you'll just have to be patient anyway since it wasn't long ago enough for their stuff to be valuble and ancient" she muttered"
Satoshi shook her head taking another drink "No there aren't many others but on the other hand there are a lot of things other ninjas can do and I can't particulally when it comes to developing your own jutsu. Takes years to do... on average about 10 but if it's a good one it really pays off. But listening to that story I guess you managed to beat up the lot of the ninjas who weren't too happy with you being there?" she guessed.
Yusti smiled letting go of Ivy once she had started laughing "It takes more people usually when killing one because of the meteor shower that comes afterwards. When taking one alive you don't have to worry about the damage like that so less effort is required to weaken the creature enough to bring it back with you. Besides theres pleanty of other creatures you can fight"

Seph looked around giving the moogle a polite smile upon obtaining eye contact with him "Well it's all art stuff you see. you know like those modern art sculpture things along with some fun yet pointless gadgets" she chuckled putting her finger up against a giant plasma ball. "I'm not sure if theres anything I want just yet but there may e something we can get to make our room in the airship more interesting"
Hebal snickered playing with her ear while she waited for the current customers to make up their mind about the dresses "Yeah but white mages especially need to be able to do stuff like that. I remember this one time one of the people I lived with as a kid snuck up behind a white mage and shouted boo! Which made her jump out of her skin and accidentally give the person she was working on a boil" she told him deciding to shout the word "booW at the top of her voice.
