Rizu whipped up her nodachi. The energy ball slammed into her blade and sent her flying into the wall. She stumbled forward, wincing. Angrily she thrust out her hand, chakra crackling in the air around it, and conjured two water serpents that spiraled at Kai, one aiming at his neck, the other at his abdomen.

Riian Rizu whipped up her nodachi. The energy ball slammed into her blade and sent her flying into the wall. She stumbled forward, wincing. Angrily she thrust out her hand, chakra crackling in the air around it, and conjured two water serpents that spiraled at Kai, one aiming at his neck, the other at his abdomen. "Darn." He said dropping to his back dodging the attacks. he was using cold hard Taijutsu and nothing else as he rolled to the right hoping into the air twirling clockwise then extending he heel glowing with more chakra. "Tatsumaki Zankyaku!" he said as he rocketed towards Rizu's shoulder with his leg extended ablaze wit his own chakra.

Rizu yelped as his kick thwacked against her shoulder, and with the last bit of her energy she snapped her leg out, aiming at his chest. She then plopped down on the ground wearily. "I give up!" She gingerly touched her shoulder. "Looks like I have a lot more to learn, Kai-sensei," she said dryly.

Becoming his 17 year old self Kai helped her up holding her shoulder. "Hah! You were great for a new student with only taijutsu. With a little more practice you'd be pulling shotokhan like me!" He smiled for a second before regaining his composure. "C'mon though, let's get back up to the top..." The stairs fell down as he helped walk Rizu back up the to the main room. A wall slid open the closed back like nothing had ever happened. "I don't think I hit you too hard, your lucky I wasn't using any elemental or forbidden techniques this time around, but now i know, your a lot stronger than that." He grabbed an icepack from the fridge and handed it to her. "In case you can't make your own." He said as he melted into the wooden floor.

Rizu smiled, happy that he complimented her. "Thanks, Kai-sensei," she said, and took the ice pack, watching him disappear. That "strength" comes with wandering the world for eight years by yourself. She sighed and trudged off to her room and flopped onto her bed, falling asleep almost immediately.

*Mouko Wakes up on his cot, and looks over at Ducky* Still out cold.....Come on, you have to wake up soon! Where's a healer when you need one? *He looks over at the ducklings, and seeing that they are still asleep, mouko gets up to see if anyone else is here....*

Aven stirred on the rafter where she had fallen asleep a few days ago. As she was about to fall off she woke up and quickly grabed hold of the rafter. Unfortunately she lost her grip and fell to the floor of the main dojo with a thud. She sat on the floor for a moment a little dazed.

Lady Aven Aven stirred on the rafter where she had fallen asleep a few days ago. As she was about to fall off she woke up and quickly grabed hold of the rafter. Unfortunately she lost her grip and fell to the floor of the main dojo with a thud. She sat on the floor for a moment a little dazed. *hearing a thump in the main room, he limps over to find the source. Seeing her laying there, he offers her his hand to help get up.....*

Aven turns back and faces the guy.
"Normally I don't sleep here at all. I sleep in the forest where I train; and usually I don't notice I have fallen asleep until I wake up. But lately there has been reason for me to sleep here and I'd like to be where I can keep an eye on things. Oh, by the way, my name is Aven Rayne."
She bows politely to him then stands up, a smile on her face.

Espyn mumbled in his lightening sleep and shot up, rolling messily from the couch he had fallen asleep upon. "Ah!" -Thump-.
"Oww..." he complained, rubbing his head and letting his hair fall behind him as he pulled the string from its place. His eyes, barely opened, looked around through the small space between both eyelids, his brain sending signals to his weary legs to stand.
Yawning, Espyn rubbed the sleep from the corners of his eyes and stepped from the dojo into the outdoors.
