"I'll ask Michael if he wants to! We should plan a day when he's feeling alright. We'll have the best game day ever!" He smiled. Michael's game possessing abilities clearly impressed him.
"Really? Back before I came here, I was lonely. The agents didn't want much to do with me and it was boring. But then I came here! And I like you guys better."

"We're glad to have you. You're a special kid, Kevin. Really. You're a part of the family." He smiled to the kelpie and touched his arm."Now what do you say we try to beat your old high score?"

"Yeah! I can't beat level six, Blinky always gets me before I can get everything!"
---
Maia had made her way towards Michael's door, and rang the bell. She was waiting outside. Would Michael even want to come? She'd never taken him out for more than a sleep over type thing. But a vacation? Did the ghost even like snow?
"Michael, are you home? I'd like to ask you a question!"

Unfortunately, Michael either wasn't present or was ignoring Maia. The door didn't even open threateningly.

Maia rang the bell again. Was Michael not home? Had Toby taken him out somewhere? ...maybe he was busy with Kevin? Or was he ignoring her? "I wanted to invite you to spend Christmas with us," she said. "Since you're a part of the family."
Would that get him to open the door?

No answer still.
"I haven't seen him in a while, hon," the nearest employee said. Frankly she didn't much like the ghost. "I couldn't tell ya where he's gone, or if he's just... gone." That happened too.

This was unusual. Michael always answered the door for her, at least after she'd made intentions known to him. Maia thanked the employee and headed to research.
Michael couldn't have just left... could he?

Either way, Seamus was sitting directly in the path that led to the back of the department. His tail was flicking back and forth as he stared into the copy room which was a dark doorway beside his bet and nearby his toys. He did not turn to regard Maia when she entered.

Maia spotted Seamus and headed towards him. Once she reached him, she paused. He usually came to greet her. Had something spooked him?
"What's wrong, kitty?" She asked. He was looking into the copy room. She followed his gaze.

There didn't appear to be anything there... right? The lights briefly flickered on and Seamus' ears went back. Then it went back to the dark. A hand reached out of the shadows and he hissed and flounced off as if he hadn't really been scared. The hand came back in and a male laugh sounded from behind Maia, away from the copy room.

"Are you scaring the office cat, Michael?" Maia asked, before turning around. "I've been looking for you. I want to invite you to our Christmas vacation. There'll be snow and presents and you can possess me or Toby for either. Please say you'll come."

The voice that came then sounded from behind her, from within the copy room.
"I'm here." He was usually more than one place at once, but at the very least what remained of his form was now behind Maia. Michael stepped out of the shadows and approached her silently. His intent wasn't to frighten her; he'd had his fun with the cat sidhe. "Christmas vacation?"
As far as he knew, employees did not automatically get Christmas off, so what vacation?

"Yeah," Maia began. "Last year we went up to Toby's vacation home in New England and we decided to do that again. I thought you might like to come?" How long had it been since the poor guy had had a few days away from HQ without it being work related? "It'll be fun. We'll have all sorts of Christmas goodies and exchange presents. Cody and Dari will be there, and maybe Kevin. I think Toby was going to ask him."
"Maybe we can see snowdrops," she added. Michael liked flowers. Maybe the wintery ones would convince him.

Michael considered the offer in silence. Were it anyone else asking, he likely would have assumed it was a prank and taken some measures against the person, but it wasn't anyone else.It was Maia.
"Have you talk to Toby about it?"

"I asked him first," Maia assured Michael with a smile. "We all agreed. You're family, Michael. Come spend Christmas with us. But you know, you'll have to give us ideas for presents. I never know what to get Toby, even." Shopping for people was difficult!
"We could make fudge. Oh, and Christmas cookies..."
