It could be worse. You could have a New York accent... There's something inherently obnoxious about it I can't put my finger on.

Pfft. Somehow I doubt even Cuba is laid back enough he'd give a little kid alcohol. xd
Omgz, I keep finding the cutest stories about Florida and Cuba~! Especially during the colonial period. Cuba saved little Ruti from when he was kidnapped and ransomed by pirates and he also saved him from South Carolina when she tried to capture him. It's really sweet to see that Cuba, at one time the most profitable colony out there, looking after such a tiny guy. I've also read about how people from Spanish Florida would go to Havana if they wanted to be educated.
And, I can't confirm this with 100% certainty yet, but I've read an account about Florida during the beginnings of the Spanish-American war opposing America getting involved with Cuba's independence because he was worried about America making him a colony. It was (according to that source) only after Congress assured Florida they were going to let Cuba be independent he fully got behind the war. (Of course, Florida had been supporting Cuba's Independence the whole time on his own and was frequently visited by Cuban revolutionary leader Jose Marti.) He just wasn't certain about America's intentions with Cuba knowing how Manifest Destiny worked... Seems like "Ruti" has always been pretty protective of Cuba. emotion_yatta emotion_bigheart

Kitty the Ninja Pikachu Someone stupid found a random portal, went through it. Somehow I can see either Cherelle or Kartlos doing that. Cherelle would be like "Oh what's this *trips and falls through*" And Kartlos would probably be like "Hey look a portal! I wonder where it goes... Only one way to find out." Nuh-uh! I'm not that stupid!*raises eyebrow* Hah! I could see myself doing that! emotion_awesome
