Chieftain Twilight I admit, I am not yet sober by far. but that previous post of mine is em barressing. my appologies if it bothers anyone. .///. Lol it's okay. As to answer one of your drunkposting questions (why not): I understand roleplaying because when boiled down, it's no different than other fiction or writing in general so just about the same rules apply. rofl My mum still does that to me every night even though usually it's not like I have anything to do the next day. ...well, except for today anyway. I have the Star Wars game session (assuming everyone else didn't get totally rained out the night before) running from noon to 5PM. To answer your RP question about the time, how about we just arbitrarily set it to 4PM?

Maerua Okay, that's fine. Your character is the focus of a plot, though, so we'll probably need to puppeteer him for you while you do your schoolwork. I understand, sorry for leaving him in a bad position for you guys. I'm sure you have a basic understanding on how he would act though, so I don't mind if someone takes over for a little while.
Thanks for the support guys, hopefully I'll be back around soon.

I guess that makes sense, Jay. heh. still, I am glad to know that it was so easily explained quickly.
anywho, I'm sorry people didn't show up for the session. I have been having a tough time getting my Star Wars game back up and running as well, but it went smoothly today. even introduced a new player, who is running a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter! biggrin he's going the Soldier/Tech Specialist multiclass route, being basically a self-reliant combatant who crafts and upgrades his own equipment. he'll need a couple Scoundrel Levels later, because he wants to pick up actual levels of the Bounty Hunter prestige class.

wanting to try a new angle here. since Twi has gained some clandestine half-trusts with some of his old comrades (Sabe and Koji specifically, possibly Mandi if she reappears), I will probably have him function as a double agent to an extent.
basically, he knows that the KGBO has their loyalties to the Kuro Gang, but are on their own in the war. while he is opposing the Don and siding with the Von Helsons, he still doesn't trust the cruellest among them (especially Ambrosia). he knows that they are just as much a mafia as the Kuros, and don't care about civilian lives.
this being the case, he will still protect the lives of Von Helson supporters and the specific anti-Kuro interests of the Von Helsons, but in order to protect his friends he will leak intelligence of assaults on HQ to Sabe in exchange for his co-operation in deterring serious harm to specific individual targets Twi feels are being needlessly manipulated and thrown away by the Von Helsons. he obviously can't force Sabe to redirect or nonviolently turn those targets away, and he also knows that even with help there is no guaruntee of success, not to mention he has to be VERY careful not to be caught endangering the interests of the Von Helsons lest he be branded a traitor (with his already terrible track record). but it is something he hopes will minimize casualties on both ends.
he will blatantly say about fanatics and radicals and mercs that if they are hellbent on violence and destruction, let the Kuros react as they will to it. he won't try to defend bloodthirsty killers from his old friends (though he will defend them against other branches of the Kuro Gang).
any input or opinions on this idea? thinking I'll let you guys get some more posts in (a good arc to when it seems appropriate) before I start this kinda chain of events. just lemme know when another assault on HQ (or individual members or targets) is appropriate.

If you want to get some more interaction, you could always get involved in the Shadow Arena when it starts up. Great place to meet Sabe without vampire detection since it's supposed to be secretive. I can't think of many details atm cuz I've got the gym on my brain, but Jay can surely help you when he wakes up.

So let me get this right: -----Twi leaks assault info to Sabe in exchange for ____ How exactly does Sabe do this? Is he subverting Kuro plans or is he attempting to talk people out of Von Helson plans or what? What do you mean by redirecting the the targets? -----The leaked assaults So the only people attacking HQ will be the fanatics/etc, or will there also be some to turn away? -----The plan in general Sounds good, and it works well with ...other plans I have for Sabe. But the result of those plans will plant a big fat target on his back, or at least force him and possibly the rest of HQ to be very secretive

But the result of those plans will plant a big fat target on his back, or at least force him and possibly the rest of HQ to be very secretive what I am getting at is that Twi will try to dissuade who he can from attacking HQ, but has to be as low-key as he can because he's being watched for treachery. there is no guarantee that people he feels don't deserve to be killed won't be involve din those assaults, but he is going to plead that Sabe do whatever he can to not harm those individuals even as he defends HQ. at the same time, Twi intends to warn HQ about assaults because that is the one target which houses his former comrades, whom he still deems his friends. yeh, it will put Sabe in hot water, and Twi knows he is asking alot. I wouldn't mind that fact being highlighted, maybe even have Twi and Sabe have an argument over it. in the end, whether or not Sabe agrees to that arrangement, I would like to try it. but I want to collaborate with you first. Nariana If you want to get some more interaction, you could always get involved in the Shadow Arena when it starts up. Great place to meet Sabe without vampire detection since it's supposed to be secretive. I can't think of many details atm cuz I've got the gym on my brain, but Jay can surely help you when he wakes up. I like that idea, it sounds reasonable. the only hitch is that Twi needs to have a reason to go there, or else find out that Sabe is going to. it's mainly a fight club organized by Vampire-hating thugs, right? Twi is 1.) a coward, and 2.) not interested in pointless violence or stoking the conflict between Vampires and Elves.

It wasn't really answering my question, which is about what Sabe is doing; is he supposed to nonlethally take out people attacking HQ or something else, since Twi is doing the talking? I don't understand what his role in this is at all. As for putting him in hot water...ahahaha...he'd be in hot water regardless of this given enough time.
