Seph sighed giving Itaka a playful nudge in the arm "hey, don't you go crushing my daydream like that, she's still not that old a chocobo you know" she laughed slightly surprised the gria weren't intimidated by her large claws and other features "If not I'll make sure we get a treasure hunting chocobo on our farm even if I have to train one myself"

Hebal giggled spinning around in a circle twice "Hehe well if it were a smelly person it wouldn't be so pleasent but nothing a little bit of rain water couldn't fix up for you. Although... do trees even have a sense of smell having no noses and all. And how to they talk without mouths" she asked only now realising the obvious.

Oassu smiled "Don't worry I'm sure they have systems in place for those accidents besides these barriers are big enough" he said indicating the chest-high wall around the platform "Still I don't think Gria would much appreciate being boxed in an underground tunnel" he said.

Gil chuckled "I guess so, mind you he could only train me to wield two swords I had to train myself the rest though he did give me the fundamentals with most forms of weaponry swords are his specialty and he didn't even charge us...I think he just didn't want to give up the dojo life and was tired of training alone" he pondered watching Enkidu wolf down his salad.

Mari raised an eyebrow "Oh? What is it that the Moogles are going to do next year for you that lets more weapons in?" she asked curiously "My village isn't that technologically advanced so it sounds quite interesting all this techie stuff" she said.

Itaka chuckled "Ok ok, just saying we can probably raise one of her chicobo's to do it and I hear the best are born wanting to find stuff and dig straight off," he said patting Chobi "Besides this girl's coat is so beautiful she wouldn't want to get it muddy with digging isn't that right Chobi?" he said snuggling the chocobo.

Zadina paused "Hmm I dunno, they don't need to smell if they can feel the grime on the human and I can't quite describe how they talk...it's kinda a feeling maybe something in the leaves rustling....you kinda need to be an elf to get it" he said sadly.

Felina nodded playing with the tip of Cid's tail "Probably not, in fact I would go as far as to say they would go crazy not having enough room to fly around and because of their little legs they would be travelling nowhere fast, Mind you I also couldn't see many dwarves living in a place as high up as this city either" she giggled surprised to see Cid lick her face.

Satoshi raised her eyebrow at Enkidu and his salad "Well thats funny, he didn't strike me much as a veggie fiend. Still you did a good job managing the blades. The most swords I have seen a two handed person weild is 3 so I can only imagine how difficult it must have been. Did you like having 6 arms when you were younger" she answered throwing a piece of carrot at Terrato who opened his mouth to successfully catch the food.

Yusti blushed unsure of how exactly to answer the question "You'll have to ask Mei or someone else about whats going to happen next year. I won't get told the details until at least 3 months before hand but its nice to have more diversity in the competition. The town I came from doesn't really have too much technology but I am glad I decided aginst crop growing for a living" she smiled.

Seph sighed lifting up Itaka's hand using it to point out the smaller sized area she believed to be the moogle district "I suppose your right about that but I thought it would be good exercise digging. You still have to take me racing sometime just so you know in future. Knowing chobi's behaviour yesterday I bet we aren't exactly the most welcome at the race track here" she chuckled.

Hebal smiled returning the hug with Zadina "Don't be all sad and stuff about that. I'm not upset since it's not like I ever remember being able to and you cant miss something you've never had right" she reassured him squishing him under her grip "So what do you do to tune all the trees out since I have never seen you wear earplugs"

Oassu shook his head "Nah Kunec is the major Gria city it's probably a touristy place so they probably keep them open for those who need them." he said sighing as the guide tried to usher people inside to continue the tour "That Gria must have quite some talent to fly up here" he said shivering as the strong winds buffeted the tower.

Gil raised an eyebrow as Satoshi closed her eyes "Your welcome to ask more if you like" he laughed "But Krastan my mentor told me tales of the legendary sword, supposedly wielded by an ancient king." he said placing his cutlery down "The king conquered all and was undefeated in battle as the sword grants the wielder incredible power in battle, unrivalled by anything and the scabbard granted immortality. So the king reigned forever but while he lived on his kingdom withered away, rocks ground down to dust, knights and peasents died until in the end it was just him in his kingdom. The king then disappeared from the pages of history altogether never to be seen again." he said sipping his wine "Presumably he still has the sword since he's immortal" he said serious "It's why only a righteous and strong warrior will be able to take the sword from him as first they must fight Excalibur...unless of course he gave it up at somepoint in which case it's just a matter of finding it" he said continuing his meal.

Mari gasped "You dno't all live above Clouds? I thought you would hate it down on the ground where people walk and stuff" she mused looking at the dress "It looks very nice on you" she said nodding "Still I guess it makes sense since Geomancers would need to be near various places to use their spells" she concluded.

Itaka smiled "It would be but it'd wear down her legs a bit, thats why chocobo's are bred for specific things Chobi's legs are designed and trained to run at their top speed. The motions are completely different for Chocobo's who want to dig deep or fight with their talons and beaks you see?" he said "And Chobi was easily keeping up with the leader yesterday she coulda easily won it" he chuckled patting Chobi's neck directing her to the moogle district.

Zadina gasped being squished under the hug "Well....after a while it just becomes like background noise to me, if it wasn't for the fact there's so many people here it'd be quieter than the forests back home" he said trying to squirm free.

Felina frowned pulling Oassu into a hug with Cid seeing him shiver "Want me to warm you up with a spell? You look cold at the moment" she offered loosening her grip on Cid now that they were away from the viewing platform "I guess you have a point about the tourist bit but I am surprised at how friendly they are. I mean I remember my first place abroad people tried to convince me to go to a lake to look for pizzas dancing around on the water hoping I didn't know the language so well" she giggled.

Satoshi gave Gil a slight nod waiting until her mouth was empty before speaking "Sounds like quite a story. The king would probably have given the sword up if he had any sense, I mean how miserable would things seem if you had to watch all that stuff happen and just go on and on and on for an unnatural period of time. But what would you do if you found excalibur, use it for its power or the immortality or both?"

Yusti laughed quietly removing a piece of paper from her back pocket then rolled it out to reveal a map covered in blue and red dots at places "Oh no we don't really live on the ground. See all the blue dots randomly scattered about? Those are all the sky towns and cities but if you look at the geography of the red dots you'll notice they are all over mountain ranges and high up places. Sky cities are very expensive to make and there are too many of us to live in the current ones. the last time we overcrowded one it sunk and is now at the bottom of the ocean which is the green dot" she lectured her leaving the map out.

Seph nodded landing neatly on a strip of gravel surrounding a small moogle statue followed by Chobi "Heh maybe we can take her racing for a little bit depending on what our match schedules since we will be more busy. Anyway lets pick up the pace a bit so we can fly back to the arena in time for my match with that gria lady" she reminded him flying above him to lift him off Chobi's back "It feels odd being one one the tallest people in the street" she chuckled glancing down at the shopping moogles.

Hebal smiled giving Zadina a thumbs up to show she was satisfied with his answer "Ooh I see not thats theres anything that great about having so called "better" leaves. They all look the same to me so long as they are all healthy and not eaten by stuff. What kinda places do you prefer to be in noise wise?"

Oassu nodded "Should told em off but ah well where was that they tried to trick you and how did you learn such good Agralian anyway Felina?" he asked realising he'd never questioned it before

Gil blushed "I know it's a possibility I'm probably not the only one after the sword but so long as I have it I guarantee no one will be able to take it from me." he chuckled

Mari frowned "Was there nothing that could be done to save it?" she asked curiously "I wonder if mermaids and stuff live there now.....that is if they even exist" she muttered "Why do you have that map anyway?" she asked.

Itaka chuckled "Your telling me" he said looking down at the moogles while Chobi kwehhed curious about the moogles "Chobi hasn't met moogles before, she must be right curious about them" he laughed.

Zadina giggled "I like it to be nice and peaceful, my room in Amane's house was pretty quiet, inside was quiet so I couldn't hear the trees much, it was very nice but the airship isn't quiet because the engine is always on" he said.
